Here’s how THEY did it:

2. First speaker gets 60 minutes, uninterrupted.
3. Second speaker gets 90 minutes (uninterrupted) for rebuttal.
4. First speaker gets a final 30 minutes to answer the rebuttal.
5. NO MODERATOR, just a guy to introduce the speakers, and to call “Time!” if a speaker exceeds theirs.
6. Aside from greeting each other at the beginning, neither speaker addresses the other directly at any time. Referring to the opponent in the third person is acceptable.
Everything in depth. No behavioral distractions. A true contest and contrast of ideas and policies. Also a format of great educational value to potential voters. I doubt we will ever get to be as informed as the in-person audiences of 1858. It’s all soundbites and spin now.

My adopted Dad is a pastor, I know several other pastors. They are all praying for the President’s re-election. They are not “sitting it out”. Last Sunday for the very first time that I am aware Pastor John MacArthur prayed for the President’s re-election ( that John MacArthur would publicly do this is a big deal). He is not “sitting it out.” In state after state, city after city, hundreds of Christians are praying. Many are fasting. NONE of them plan to “sit it out”.

Retired Magistrate here: I listened to Rush today and I didn’t hear the President drop the “F” bomb. Even if he did, as a conservative Christian I am voting for President, not for a pastor or priest.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of Christians who never vote because they are looking for someone who fits all Biblical qualities; there is only one person who ever fit that description, that was Jesus Christ.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday dropped a little October surprise said his department has Hillary Clinton’s ‘deleted’ emails and will release them before the election.
“We’re getting them out,” Pompeo told Fox News Dana Perino.
“We’ll get all of this information out so the American people can see them,” Pompeo said. “There will be more to see before the election.”
“You will remember there was classified information on a private server. It should never have been there. Hillary Clinton should never have done that. It is unacceptable behavior.”

I went inside the clerk’s office & voted & physically put my ballot into the Accuvote machine/ballot box.
My parents can barely walk, so they got curbside service. Clerk’s office worker brought out 2 confirmation applications to sign, 2 ballots, clipboards. My mom asked what she was going to do with the ballots & that she hoped they weren’t going to get tossed. I said, ” it’s ok, they’re not the post office.” The lady laughed & said, ” You got that right!”
