Minnesota needs help.
Serious help.
We have been under the thumbs of Democrats for years and those Democrats have changed all the laws to be in their favor.
I just learned that county employees (union county employees) can count mail-in ballots without equal representation of both parties being present — no election judges and no concern for “party balance” among those “election judges.”
Part of an email I just received from a senior election clerk tells me Minnesota is totally screwed in the upcoming election —
“According to Minnesota Statute 203B.23, the county auditor establishes an absentee ballot board, which she has done. The absentee ballot board, as in all election years previous to this one and including this one, consists of county auditor staff trained as election judges. And also according to that statue, county staff are exempt from political party balance.” “The process for opening and putting ballots into the precinct counter is closed to the public.”
Yes, just change the statutes to ensure you don’t need equal representation and can do whatever you want behind closed doors.
Of course they then added the following sentence,
“We are professionals and take pride in running a clean and fair election.”
HELP!
I told my husband nothing can be done because leftists have already made what they do legal in Minnesota and it will take real conservatives, voted into office, to make the laws “fair” again. He said ‘BS! Something can always be done!’ But neither of us know what that has to be.
Does anyone know what I can do, who I can go to, what can be done to stop this insanity NOW?

Wisconsinites — have all your victories in court concerning mail-in ballots been over dictates from above? Or were they laws such as this that were overturned?

Wisco here– no laws were overturned, they were in fact “upheld” as the courts ruled that only the legislature can change the election criteria; therefore, all absentee ballots must be at the clerks office by 8pm on election day to be counted (same as in person voting–just as I can’t go the day after the election and try to vote either!) –then there is criteria for how soon the ballots have to be tallied (which I believe is 24 hrs) after polls close and then when the “certified” counts have to be in. This is as it should be because why should late ballots count same as people who voted in-person or even on-time absentee? There are plenty of ways to get your ballot to the clerk before election day.
As to how absentee ballots are run through the scanner, I’m fairly certain that poll watchers have to be present for this to happen…any other way is just sketchy!

Gee, if I were to show up 2-3 days ‘late’ for a job interview, I would still be considered, and if 2-3 days late for a Dr or Dentist appt.,….yeah point made?
Reach out to the Trump campaign and let them know what is going on. Conceivably, you could file an emergency request to suspend it, challenging it’s legality or fairness. You probably want A backup to run interference and support you (or your attorney).
I believe the Minnesota Voters Alliance has lawsuits pending on this issue for Hennepin, Ramsey & Olmstead counties. MVA has a website where you can see what lawsuits they’ve filed. Also donate to their cause.

Find a Conservative public service group who can, and will, file a LAWSUIT on behalf of the Minnesota voters – immediately. This needs to be fast-tracked.
Challenge on the basis of the ballot opening / counting being “closed to the public”. You need poll watchers on deck for the ballot processing / counting, with both / all Parties represented during that process.

I was able to connect with the Trump team here in Minnesota — albeit only briefly today — and after holding a President Trump Sign Wave Rally late this afternoon/early evening am pooped and done for this day.

On a fabulous note — someone in our group decided to count vehicle responses during the sign wave today, pro or con. He said the positives out numbered the negatives 5 to 1.

One of the good things about the Republican Party is that its symbol is the elephant.
Female elephants are fantastic mothers, so it is a great pro-life symbol.
I just watched a yt video in which a just-born elephant infant, born in the wild, a short while after its birth, stood up on its four tiny feet for the first time.
The mother elephant stayed close to her infant as it learned to stand. She gently and patiently helped and protected its life (sure signs of being a creature of God).

Mmmm, interesting…….Learned a bit more about the Senate Judiciary Committee schedule for SCOTUS nominate ACB this morning on C-SPAN. Senator Blackburn stated there would be 4 hearings Monday through Thursday(Oct. 12th-15th) and there would be a mix of in person and virtual.
OK, I already knew that, but did not know the next part–The committee will not actually vote until the next Thursday, Oct. 22nd! Then the “vote out of committee” will be sent to McConnell to put on the Senate Executive Calendar.
Once on the calendar it has to ripen before a cloture vote can be taken. Then the cloture vote and then the actual Senate vote for ACB to be on SCOTUS. So if she makes it through all the hoops and procedures, I’m guessing the final vote will happen around the the 28th or 29th of October.
As far as I know, the Senate floor votes still have to made in person in the chamber. I wonder how many Republican Senators will be in COVID quarantine by then? Gee, guess we’ve got to put up with around 3 more weeks of Senatorial SCOTUS drama, speechifying, ‘gasslighting’, and Kabuki theater.

I don’t understand how this could be true, when there isn’t a report at all. This is a criminal investigation. So either people are charged or they aren’t. So technically there is never going to be a report.
It’s funny to see how programmed we are as a society. It’s been brought up numerous times that there will be no report. But after years of reports on ALLLLL the criminal activity from the Obama era, we are just programmed to expect that a report is the result of the latest travesty against our constitution. Not action like an arrest or conflict. Just our usual bi annual report outlining how the criminals inside our government didn’t quite break the law because for some reason the rules that govern the people of America, inexplicably, don’t govern our lawmakers, enforcers, and media members.
You see, for them intent has to be proven. And even when it is proven they say “well we can’t prove that that’s what they meant when they wrote exactly that in their text message. they didn’t use the word “intend’ so we don’t know if they meant to intend to.”
Bias? “We don’t have any proof of bias. When he said he would stop Trump from getting elected that wasn’t bias, that was just a lovers quarrel between to adorable adulterers on the tax payers dime. We should afford them their privacy in their trying times.”
Obstruction of justice? “Oh, no reasonable lawyer would draw up charges on hillary clinton just because she destroyed her hard drives and cell phones, kept an illegal server in some dudes bathroom in colorado, and paid someone to compile a fake dossier to frame President Trump for collusion. You see, hillary didn’t tell us she did those things in a criminal way. So we don’t have proof she did them as a crime because she said she didn’t do them as a crime. So we have to take her word for it.”

I sure hope there are some people listening who are realizing finally how much the Pres. has done for them and they decide to vote for him. Probably not many unsure of their vote at this point, but you never know. At least people will know some of the truth the media refuses to share with them.

In your press conference today about passing legislation to set up a Commission to “give advice” on Amendment 25 concerning a President’s ability to perform his/her Executive duties, you stressed the importance of knowing whether leaders could perform their duties when under the influence of drugs that could or might effect their physical, mental, or emotional state. (I hope that was long and convoluted enough of an opening preamble to be qualified as a journalist-grin!)
So here’s my question for you–Why start with the President and the Execute branch for your legislation, why not start with the Legislative branch that you control one half of? Pass legislation that all Congressmen must list all of the medications they are on and all the accompanying side effects. Then your commission can look into and “advise” whether they might/could be effected by such as to not be able to perform their congressional duties?
Sounds like a great idea–let’s get it done! So Nancy, start us off and give us your doctor’s full annual physical and psychological report and tell us what medications and health issues you do or might have? Being such an important leader as Speaker of the House and 2nd in line after the President, you will certainly agree that it is in “our Country’s best interest to have a commission to let The People Know if their leaders are capable of performing their duties”, right….right?

Just watched a clip of Nancy Pelosi talking about legislation she’s introduced to subject Trump to removal under the 25th Amendment until medical science can prove he’s capable of acting due to his having COVID. Not only is the legislation pathetic, especially as it’s shelving other vital legislation, but she’s on national TV wearing her mask incorrectly. Don’t they have a pill for hypocrisy?
