I’m having a great time watching my superliberal friends, who harangued and ridiculed antivaxers as uneducated, superstitious, knuckle dragging morons who had no regard for science, now morph into antivaxers themselves. “If Trump approves it I won’t take it.”
Just agree with them and say “yeah, it might cause autism,” then watch for that puzzled look they get. Like playing with the cat with a laser pointer. “It’s over here! It’s over THERE! Get it! Get it!”

Trump heard about it towards the end of the interview with Rush. He seemed pissed but controlled. He said it will be the first call he makes. Trump doesn’t want to believe it, but he seemed to have an idea it was possible.
Such a shame to see Trump have too deal with more disappointment.
So I agree that the crimes from Russia-gate may not be in our criminal justice system in the next 20 something days. BUT I do not think that a loss will prevent these crimes from coming to public light. God forbid he loses, Donald John Trump will not sit quietly for the next 10-15 years without voicing every single detail.

Excellent post. I think a few key SC decisions that would strengthen states’ right, such as gun rights and over-turning Roe v Wade, will hasten this shift. It’s sad, but don’t see a better way forward. Perhaps something even better will emerge in the Liberty oriented states?

I always wait until the day of because I figure the less time for them to “lose” my ballot, the better. I don’t trust the mail and I don’t want to give them a week or more to rip up my ballot.
Kaco, that’s been my internal debate for a while now. I certainly prefer to vote on Election day as we make it into quite an event with neighbors and friends and enjoy it even if there are long lines, bad weather, or whatever.
But this year my physical and mental abilities are up and down on a day to day basis. So I’m leaning towards hitting the early voting booth on a day when I’m on the upside instead of taking a chance on not being able to on Election Day.
Here in NC we do have fairly secure Absentee voting procedures and also Curbside voting for both Early voting and Election day voting for those of us physically challenged. But I still want to “toddle/doddle” in under my own power and stand to “pull the handle” like I have always done.
This will be my twelfth Presidential election and probably the last that I will be able to go in person and actually “proudly stand up for my country”.

I am really thinking about the early voting just because what if something happens? I don’t want to do it too early, but it is open now. I just think early voting allows for them to see what is coming in, I’d much rather give them a surprise on election day.
To your 1st question: Yes, it is more than likely my last Presidential election.
To your 2nd question: Yes, I’m ‘OK’ with where I am in my life, matter of fact ‘Life Is Great’ each and every single day and I make sure to count my many blessings and enjoy each day!
To your last paragraph: I reckon if folks are really determined to tamper with our ballots, they can do it before, during, and after voting and in a number of ways. So vote when and which ever way you feel is best and most secure. We’ll have to keep a sharp eye out for any and all shenanigans.
Not just swing states but population centers in swing states, where “low levels” of percentages (voting for) can be flipped without too much notice.
Franklin County, Ohio is listed as the most populous county in the state.
I like to do a quick check on the population center inside the County listed for these kinds of stories and it seems this is going to be the trend. Issues with ballots in major population centers of swing states, especially those with democrat dominated election boards.
However, it remains a two-edged sword for the either party claiming and issue with ballots because every office up for election, referendum and bond issue are on the same ballot.

Some good polling out today showing POTUS ahead in TX, GA and AZ, the first two from more liberal outlets.
Reminiscent of the final weeks of 2016, when the polls came into focus and more closely matched the actual outcome. To this day, various media still argue their polling wasn’t terrible in the closing days of the 2016 election. I guess the weeks and weeks leading up to that were biased gaslighting.
Have TX, GA or AZ ever gone blue? I don’t think they have. So sick of the head-fakes from the left in the last 2-3 elections saying those are “in play.” They. Are. Not.

I would also love for him to get NV, but think it’s not too likely unless it’s a total blowout and NV comes along for the ride. CO, NV & AZ have taken a similar path over the past few years… they’re all western states that have large #s of CA transplants moving there and bringing their voting habits with them, plus large and rapidly expanding Latino populations. I’ve seen polling that the Latino vote is closer for Trump this time, which could be significant, but I doubt the increase in support makes up for the raw numbers increasing when there’s still a significant gap. Hillary actually outperformed expectations in CO & NV in 2016… probably in AZ, as well, as far as final %s, but I’d have to check, since all I remember about that is Trump winning the state.
Where Trump is gaining support and making up for this is in the Midwest and Rust Belt area. He’s doing better in states with large populations of working-class whites and blacks. While black voters are still overwhelmingly Democrats, Trump is likely to receive double the black support of any previous GOP candidate in over a generation. Also, without Obama on the ballot, black voter turnout always gets overestimated; pundits and pollsters don’t want to risk looking “racist” by suggesting more black people voted for Obama because he was black. Of course, that’s both obviously true and factually provable with the data we have by now, but they still shy away from it and pretend there’s going to be the same black turnout as 2012.
There is not going to even be close to the same black turnout as in 2012. And what black turnout there is will include more than double going to Trump compared to Trump’s own results in 2016, Romney, McCain, Bush Jr, Dole, Bush Sr or Reagan. This will likely make the difference in picking up MN and also work as an “insurance policy” of sorts to lock in a repeat of Trump’s 2016 wins in MI, WS, PA & OH. My current best guess is that Trump will lose AZ, pick up MN, while the rest of the electoral map will be the same as 2016. I thought we were going to see more of a Trump landslide a couple weeks ago, but I’m not sure if that’s realistic at this point, as the nation just seems so divided and TDS does seem pervasive. (My computer tried to change that last word to “perverted,” which is probably also the case.) I had, perhaps naively, assumed the riots and just paying more attention as Election Day neared would persuade some people who didn’t particularly like Trump but were basically sane that he was the only reasonable choice; alas, I think I may have overestimated the sanity of most people who aren’t already planning to vote for Trump. However, I still think Trump has a solid lock on approx. 290 to 300 electoral votes, as I really can’t picture him losing much support from 2016. (The narrative that his base has flipped or become disillusioned is total BS imo… he’s picked up a number of conservatives who either didn’t vote for him in 2016 because they didn’t believe he was really conservative, such as Glenn Beck, or who were overly concerned with etiquette and niceties, such as Ben Shapiro, and I don’t see how he could have lost many conservatives or common-sense indies who voted for him in 2016.)

A TV talking head is going on about the Wolverine militia members who were arrested after plotting to kidnap/cap the Michigan governor. The Detroit News is saying the group ‘flew under the radar’ while the talking head said it was exposed after extensive infiltration by LEA…waiting for the ‘entrapment’ defense…which might not be too far off course.
We also are going to see this used as yet more reasons to ban guns and to bash ‘white supremacists’ and far-right (think anyone to the right of AOL) and quite possibly lead to yet more restrictions on activities Progs think non-Prog. We have anti-militia/’private army’ laws on the books in many states, we may now also see laws restricting activities such as reenacting as it teaches the actors ‘military tactics’ and in that alone makes the group a militia by many states’ laws. Watch for a move by Feds to have an overarching Federal law banning ‘militia/private army’ activities, a number of Prog have tried to get Civil War reenacting banned as racist now have new ammunition…so to speak.
This Michigan Wolverine incident will open a new chapter in group activity suppression, new laws and new fuel for the reauthorization and expansion of the Patriot Act. Very convenient.

Well… I listened to the entire conversation between Rush and President Trump. I don’t really consider it an interview as the format was more like two friends sitting down together and talking. It was nice. Anyway, I thought President Trump did a good job with Rush. He sounds completely recovered from the COVID. Not once he cough or sniffle that I heard. He is convinced the antibody cocktail he took cured him of COVID. He was not that sold on Remdemsvir. He has allowed the medical researchers to have copies of his viral numbers, etc… I assume he is now a patient to be included in the ongoing clinical trials for the monoclonal antibodies. He wants to make this drug available as quickly as possible to everyone.
President Trump’s responses to questions tend to be long and go along tangents. That suits this kind of format but not necessarily debate formats or short interviews. If the debate is back on for October 15, he needs to hone in directly answering the questions before going off on tangents. Of course, I expect there to be a bias moderator asking questions and in that case he’ll likely need to correct the premise of the question before he even begins to give an answer.
Something to cheer up those consumed with polls (some of which look pretty good today!).
They will keep looking better the closer we get, they are such predictable loons with their “polls.” The networks need to make it out like it’s going to be “razor thin close” even though we all know better. It does a great job of keeping my Faux News addicted parents in law glued to their TV though, sigh!

Just knowing that Obama’s egg head is not in the Oval Office causes me to be feeling better than 4 years ago. Having President Trump replace him was just icing on the presidential cake.
In 2008 several individuals went to Court to protest the Democrats having a non “natural-born citizen” on their ballot; every case was dismissed, the individuals all being told that they did not have Standing. Apparently only the RNC had standing, which did nothing.
There was NEVER a judgment that Obola was in fact a “natural-born citizen.”
12 years later and the vast, irreversible damage from suffering through having a non natural-born citizen preen and primp as our faux president for eight years is undeniable.
Now the Democrats have a non natural-born citizen on their ballot again, this time in the VP slot. Harris is NOT Constitutionally eligible to serve as President, therefore she is also not eligible to serve as our Vice President (not that those of us who aren’t gung-ho for a fascist top-heavy government would want her). Again the RNC does nothing.
How is it that AMERICAN CITIZENS have no standing to try to prevent a repeat of the disastrous Obola Crime Cabal Regime? Are we to remain silent as our Constitution continues being torn to shreds?
When the republicans regain control of the House and Senate as well as POTUS Trump gaining a second term, citizens must demand that the issue of ‘natural born citizen’ be fully resolved in the clearest of terms for all future elections.
Like you, as a child in the 1960’s and 1970’s I was taught that BOTH of a presidential candidate’s parents had to be born in the USA. I understood that because my own refugee parents became naturalized citizens five years after I was born here in the USA, I was ineligible to run for that political office.

After listening to most of the Rush Limbaugh show with POTUS Trump this afternoon I didn’t hear our President mention how Melania is doing. I may have missed it if it came up because of commercial interruptions as well as the domestic interruptions we encountered with tree removal and painters working today. I wish she was given the attention she deserves as First Lady by our hopelessly biased press and thought this program would have been an opportunity to shine the light in her direction as well today. We wish for both our President and his lovely wife a full continued recovery and much luck in the coming election..
I think she is basically asymptomatic and is basically quarantined.
It would have been nice to hear either of them mention it.
The real question is why anyone would think that she is NOT asymptomatic.

My 70 year old overweight and not super-healthy mom beat it without any special drugs in 7-10 days, no doctor or hospital. But nothing wrong with praying!

Well they didnt. My dad suffered unnecessarily and almost died because he couldnt get a doc appointment for health problems he was dealing with, due to all the hysteria over wuflu. Spent 2 weeks in the hospital because his kidneys had been damaged and I, nor anyone else was even able to see him. It was very stressful and did irreversible damage to him. His health, and that of millions of others suffered not due to the virus, but due to our hysterical overreaction to the virus.
I’m sorry to hear about the terrible circumstances you have to deal with. We have similar situation with my dad..,resulting in final stages of kidney failure. Prayers going out for improvement to both our dad’s.
Im sorry to hear that, same to you. It is doubly frustrating to me because so much of the death and suffering of many people, and damage we are causing to future generations was and is completely unnecessary.
Early on, it now looks like hospitals were probably causing the deaths of as many corona positives as they were helping. Since then, proven therapeutics have been prevented from being given to sick people. All the while, the demographics and populations most vulnerable to a respiratory illness, were not only NOT protected, they were forced to take in contagious patients INCREASING the risk to those people. And meanwhile, health care that was known to be needed for people of all ages and demos was compromised because of our completely irrational, uninformed and often hysterical response to a coronavirus.
And here we are with known, proven therapeutics that CURE even elderly and overweight people, and yet we still see teenagers walking around outside by themselves, with masks on.
How many people are out there that have already had the virus, and their immune systems have squashed it, and thus they are now immune to it, are living in total fear and have put their lives on hold?

Two months ago, I had an appointment with my primary for usual annual stuff. As they were directing me through the hoops I had to jump through before I was allowed into the inner sanctum – all of the covid questions – I posed this question to the intake person: “What happens with someone who has specific medical needs that may well include some of these symptoms, but absolutely nothing to do with covid?”
Her response: quick intake of breath and then, after a pause, “That’s a good question.”
Yeah. I guess it is. And this was in AUGUST, four months after all this crap was implemented.
After she steadied herself a bit, she enlarged on her answer, “Well, I guess they would figure out how to handle it.”
One can only hope.
It’s been a long time since we saw and received “best medical care” in this nation. It is so crippled now, I doubt it will ever recover. And for the rest of my life, whenever I have an appropriate opportunity to question a medical doctor, I WILL ASK why on earth they abandoned their patients during the stupid pandemic by acquiescing to the government restrictions which effectively forbade them to treat patients already under their care.

Since there doesn’t seem to be one moderator in the universe who could be impartial during a Presidential debate, maybe we can try having each side prepare a set of question to be asked of the opposing candidate.
The questions get handed to the moderator 10 seconds before broadcast. The moderator reads them to the respective candidates. All follow-up questions are asked and answered by the candidates. The moderator watches the time and enforces time limits with a bell.
Exactly! The President can directly ask Biden questions and Biden can do the same.
here’s an idea: Moderator asks a question…each replies for two minutes…clock sounds…then five minutes of conversation…
Moderators spend more time talking then anybody…all with loaded multiple point liberal talking points…
