I mentioned this last night, and now more solid reports have emerged. Basically, Ukraine and Russia are taking turns striking each other’s warehouses and distribution centers with missiles and drones. However, the brunt of the damage and chaos is being felt only by one side—Ukraine.
Zero Hedge has a solid article explaining the dynamics:
A Russian drone struck a Ukrainian Defense Forces ammunition storage site in the village of Myla Friday evening, just west of Kiev. The resulting fire and hours of secondary detonations killed at least 37 people, injured dozens more, damaged around 50 residential buildings and a care home for the elderly and disabled, and forced the evacuation of hundreds. Among the dead was the local community head who had gone to help.
In response, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said ¹the placement of a weapons depot next to civilians was “terrible negligence.” The first impact, he said, hit a depot storing shells, mines, other munitions, and drones that “definitely shouldn’t have been there” – while prosecutors in Kiev opened a criminal investigation into the legality of storing explosives next to civilian housing. This is the second such incident in two months. A July strike on a depot in nearby Vyshneve produced similar secondary blasts, deaths, and later detentions of state defense-company executives.
Russia’s Defense Ministry said the Myla site held components and launch boosters for long-range drones. It also claimed strikes on Flamingo cruise-missile related facilities in the Kiev region and on the ports of Mykolaiv and Izmail. Social-media claims that Patriots were stored there remain unconfirmed by official Ukrainian statements.
Here comes the fact that few in the west understand:
Friday night’s blast came amid a multi-day Russian campaign of jet-powered drones and missiles that has produced near-continuous air-raid alerts over Kiev and hit warehouses belonging to supermarket chains, postal operators, retailers, and logistics firms. Ukraine Agriculture Minister Taras Vysotskyi told reporters that, “roughly speaking,” about 90% of the food-logistics infrastructure used by major retail chains (large distribution centers serving networks such as Fora, Silpo, NOVUS, and Varus) has been destroyed.
[…] Both sides have been systematically striking each other’s logistics and dual-use commercial infrastructure. […] Zelensky’s government has framed its own long-range strikes as a way to force Russia to negotiate. (more)
You can hit centralized Russian distribution centers and not accomplish any material impact to the people of Russia. However, if you hit centralized Ukraine distribution centers, chaos and crisis quickly surfaces for Kiev residents.
The why is not complicated.
Metropolitan Russia, home to more than 75% of the population, was set up around the concept of govt planned precincts.
Each few buildings you will find a generally useful grocery store, a bakery, a coffee shop, a pharmacy, a utility store, tobacco, produce shop etc. all within immediate walking distance.
EX. Bread is made in each bakery; made, not just taken out of a box. Actually made.
They set it up that way a long time ago during the Soviet era. Now, over time stores are different, but the planning never changed. The people of Russia also operate Dacha Gardens all over the urban sprawl and suburban areas.
“Gardening as provided food for the people of Russia for over 1,000 years, starting as mainly subsistence or survival gardening and evolving into an independent, self-provisioning model between the Bolshevik Revolution and World War II and continues into today.”
Ukraine, we are told – even by former Defense Minister Fedorov, was convinced by western intelligence analysis that destroying the roughly 200 online Wildberries distribution centers it would cripple the Russian consumer economy.
Increased strikes did not yield the desired results.
Who in their right mind thought destroying regional Russian online warehouses would have some great impact? Russia is analog in a digital world.
However, conversely in our westernized, centralized, corporate consumer structures and logistics, we built distribution economies on centralized production and cost-efficient distribution, vis-a-vis Kyiv or Brussels etc.
Ex. The western bread for a hundred locations is made in one centralized or regional facility. Boxed, shipped and distributed for maximum efficiency and profit.
Bombing Russian distribution centers doesn’t have any impact on the precinct level operation. But taking out westernized regional hubs and distribution centers in Kiev can create immediate chaos.
That’s what we are seeing now.
Honestly, this is not complicated to analyze. These are two completely different economic and logistic models. One is centralized (Ukraine) and one is decentralized (Russia). Attacking the logistics of a decentralized system creates no substantive impact. Attacking the logistics of a centralized system creates major impact.
I think part of the reason the western news doesn’t make sense is because western media doesn’t understand Russia or pretend not to know things.
Apparently, the same applies to Western intelligence.

“Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said ¹the placement of a weapons depot next to civilians was “terrible negligence.” “
Terrorist 101 playbook:
Use civilians as “human shields”.
Ukraine = Hamas when it comes to using civilians as human shields.
Z continues to use Ukrainian soldiers (kidnapped off the street or otherwise in the military) to stay in power. Why can’t idiots in the West, and the MSM, see this?
Why can’t idiots in the West, and the MSM, see this?
American politicians and the cia?
?????????? The safe and effective crowd? This is right up their alley. Lie and decieve.
That cokehead globalist puppet Zelenski has lost control over the Ukraine population. If these Russian attacks cripple Ukrainians basic necessities as intended, the Zeester will be looking for a personal exit before his own people introduce him to his last day
Ask the ghost of Mussolini how that works . . . (The Italians always did have a certain flair for theater.)
Call it Operatic.
Shucks Deplorable, I didn’t see your post and posted the exact same analysis. My bad.
Russia is pretty much unbeatable. Ask Napoleon and Adolf. The place is GIGANTIC.
Remember when Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan were a part of Russia?
Not so hard when you take it on piece at a time.
The British have plotted to divide Russia up for several hundred years.
Now it looks like not-so-great Britain will be consolidated into a califate.
Less Britain
we probably should pull any nukes we have over there before the caliphate grabs them
Minor detail and you need to reread what really happened … those smaller nation-states you named ALL “broke away” after the fall of the Iron Curtain.
The USSR was actually a form of Federation that included those states. Those states were actually referred to as “Breakaway Republics” for some tme after the USSR fragmented.
NOBODY took anything.
how long will the keep it? History says not to long.
Canada is gigantic too. Size matters but it’s not enough.
Size and space does not matter as much as you think in the age of air and space power and nuclear weapons. Much of that space in Russia is just that wide open space and not a military target.
Lots of square feet and few people.
[¹People are starting to suspect that Director Ratcliffe told his Russian counterpart Sergey Naryshkin where the ammo was stored.]
Especially given the past 80 straight hours of successful strikes . . .

I think he did tell him… Russia and the U.S. ally up to defeat Ukraine, EU, NATO and the globalist system.
I’m Team USA and Russia.
You are truly a breath 0f Sunshine and count me in also.
Vladimir Putin won my respect in the sit down He did with ‘bite my tongue’ Tucker Carlson. it was very evident that Putin is a long range thinker and he loves his country and his people unequivocally, just like Trump. i’m siding with Putin and have been since this whole deal started.
The Russians have their own excellent intelligence apparatus … We’re not gonna tell them anything they don’t already know.
So why take a C-17 instead of a G 650? Ratcliff has one at his disposal. Perspiring minds need to know.
“Ukraine, we are told – even by former Defense Minister Federov, was convinced by western intelligence analysis”
How much are these dufuses that work for “western intelligence” being paid?
Me thinks some more cuts need to be made, because they do not know diddly-squat.
They are mostly British, with a sprinkling of Sea Eye Ah, and Froggie Crauts.
There is a powerful lesson in this sentence…
Sorry! I put that first sentence in the quotation html, but for some reason it didn’t work, and I don’t see an option to edit or delete.
You have to look for the little gear at the bottom and to the far right of your comment. Clicking on that will bring up the option to edit, which is only good for about 10 minutes, OR until someone else replies to your comment.
There is an edit button – it’s the little gear-gizmo below your comment, near the right margin. We are able to edit for about 4-5 minutes after posting. (Hover over the gear and a little manage comment/edit drop-down appears)
Similar model as the internet, and more specifically, the Tor network.
Redundancy.
“¹People are starting to suspect that Director Ratcliffe told his Russian counterpart Sergey Naryshkin where the ammo was stored”
Perhaps Director Ratcliffe should cut off the targeting data and assistance that Ukraine is receiving from the west. As far as I know, other members of the “five eyes” do not own very many (if any) satellites up there.
exactly. i do not understand why we keep pretending not to be a primary participant in this war. oh to be a fly on the wall when the former republic of the US came to lecture them yet again….
russia knew where that depot was, and almost certainly let it go because of where it sat. but their patience has worn thin.
the intentional visibility of the visit, the sudden vatican visit, the new euro idiot proclamations, the russians publishing the list of sites where drones are made in europe/uk, our inability to defend against missile attacks since we blew it all in iran, weak sanctions that dont take effect and no one is going to abide by, the asymmetric bombing that just occurred, the unprecedented bond moves no one is paying attention to…
we are all just guessing about the legendary meetup… but to me, it seems a lot more obvious that its a coordinated push to try one last time and convince russia to stand down as the west come to the realization that the entirety of ukraine civilization is about to collapse. and with it, NATO and the former republic of the US’s impotence is on display for all to see.
winners do not ask for mercy and ceasefires.
the non-western powers smell the blood in the water.
A scary alternative
My neighborhood is analog in a digital world,,,,,,,,,
Beware the Bear that lurks behind the Urals…feed him gun powder and blood, then poke him on the nose isn’t wise.

Once an exception, twice a pattern.
Zelensky is a murderous war criminal with NATO co-conspirators. They do not give a damn about the Ukrainian people and loss of life.
Gibbs’ rules:
There are no coincidences.
Ukes absolutely put it there on purpose, betting that russia’s restraint would keep them away. and it did, for a long time. but there is no freaking way russian intel did not already know EXACTLY where that stash was.
Traveling again—-thank you for all you do to bring us these timely updates and unique insights.
I don’t understand why Russia doesn’t take down Ukraines power grid, and keep it down.
Surely a country that for so many years has been ready and able to go to war with the US should be able to knock out Ukraines electrical and gas supplies, or are they afraid of the bad press of causing millions to be without light or tv?
i think for the same reason they have held off pummeling kiev and a bunch of ammo stashes hidden behind the skirts of their civilians.
And that reason is??????
20 million refugees, half of which might try to go to Russia.
PDJT just being the peacemaker before Z et al pushes the bear too far until he won’t be further pushed and instead pushes the button.
When Putin decides he has been “pushed too far,” he has many [other …] options.
an alternate theory: we have it backwards… russia called on us to provide the CIA rats of the US and euros one last chance to stop this insanity before their red line is crossed. and in the days since, they have walked and talked exactly what they meant with massive bombardment, calling up a million soldiers, and pronouncements that they WILL strike targets outside ukraine, and we have no defense.
check out the pics of tens of thousands fleeing every day now.

While not the main focus….
This statement is propaganda in its most blatant form:
“In response, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said ¹the placement of a weapons depot next to civilians was “terrible negligence.” The first impact, he said, hit a depot storing shells, mines, other munitions, and drones that “definitely shouldn’t have been there” – while prosecutors in Kiev opened a criminal investigation into the legality of storing explosives next to civilian housing. Wanna bet why those munitions depots were located near civilian residences? Same reason Iran stores munitions in mosques and near schools. Litte Z man is lying through his teeth with that statement.
I think Z-Bag had his own cathedral bombed recently. In the past, he bombed a nuclear power plant to blame it on Russia. I believe he has even bombed his own troops at times.
I wonder if Lindsey Graham wasn’t poisoned in Ukraine so Zelensky could go to Congress and say “Fund me again for Lindsey’s sake!”
He may have even arranged these bombings for sympathy and to justify WW III.
The USSR created ’15 minute cities’.
Ukraine concealed its military systems inside that its civilian infrastructure from day one. AD systems, pre-warned by NATO, dispersed into towns and villages, and an MLRS battery, weeks later, was struck whilst sheltering in a shopping complex after conducting a shoot and scoot mission.
Once again, the narrative only survives amongst the ignorant.
There is another dynamic also.
Like Mark Carney, Zelensky’s interests are severed from the Ukrainian peoples because they are both paid by the World Mafia.
President Putin has his nation’s historical interest in mind, where der GrifterFuhrer just wants an endless paycheck.
Z-Bag will even attack Ukraine and his allies if it helps to secure that paycheck in some way. President Putin doesn’t attack Russia.
And Zelensky literally sells his people as Cannon Fodder.
We in the USA are extremely vulnerable, centralized and vulnerable supply chains in food, fuel, electrical power generation and almost any other aspect. Even data centers right?
Factories do not keep stocks and if one truck shipment is delayed it can cause assembly lines to halt.
Over centralization benefits Wall street and huge conglomerates but does it really deliver the best product at the highest quality to the local consumer? The vulnerability of not having dispersed back up systems for food fuel and power should be obvious.
just wait til the diesel fuel shortages start hitting home.
What? Explain where and why of diesel fuel shortages Muley Bulley and provide links to back up your opinion please
We can all remember Wuhan Flu and the change of food distribution from retail to restaurant caused huge problems. Just in time inventory only works when there is time.
Exactly Terry Anderson.
Another in depth article about the dire situation for Ukraine.
https://www.twz.com/news-features/russia-changing-missile-and-drone-attack-strategy-on-ukrainian-captial
The article describes a possible new strategy on Russia’s part that may well turn things. It appears the Ukrainian people will be hiding instead of going about their parties and normal lives because weapons are too close to residential neighborhoods. Russia blowing these up may turn the people against the Ukraine government.
The article also talks about recruitment and it sounds like without “forced” enlistment, they won’t be able to survive. I think this is key. If they have to force Ukrainians to defend their country it means there is a lot of disgruntled population.
Frankly, I don’t understand why a country would have a strategy that destroys most of the country, to keep a smaller portion. Ukraine can’t win so what are they doing antagonizing Russia even more into more destruction of what you’re trying to protect? Is reality not a thing over there?
It’s like the Monty Python King Arthur and Black Knight battle. The Black Knight has an attitude just like Ukraine. They won’t give up until they are utterly destroyed.
Understand that Fedorov just took some job offer with the Italian defense ministry. Something to do with modernization, which apparently he is an expert with. If this is true, then someone (EU probably) must have arranged to end his trouble-making and get him out of there. So no more election demands and Z has no one to interfere with him being a dictator. Plus, I suppose you could say Fedorov won’t get bumped off and there won’t be all the adverse news about such a thing happening.
Or easier to accomplish and have plausible deniability if they off’d him in another country?
I’d be more worried about MI-6 and the CIA than Little Z if I was Fedorov.
Good points.
This war has always been madness from a European perspective. I have no idea why they started it, or why they keep it going. The European economy is in free fall as a result.
Europe’s Economic Collapse Is Accelerating — These Are The REAL Numbers
…because the Elites can get away will all kinds of spending (hoping to rev up their economies and their laundering) during a war.
The public is more sympathetic to the cause versus during peaceful times. Plus it’s a distraction and a fear generator to manipulate people. Just like during the pandemic.
The fall or at least a reset of some sort has been inevitable ever since the formation of the EU and the path to socialism was chosen.
As Margret Thatcher so succinctly stated, “Socialism is great until you run out of other people’s money.”
Globalists don’t care if Western Civilization falls apart….they desire serfs not well off middle class free citizens.
I see that Sundance still travels with his black straw.
I once saw him kill three men in a bar fight with just a plastic straw….
oh, wait…. that was a movie.
Safe travels. Please stay away from Wildberries.
