In this section of the interview, President Trump outlines the ongoing conflict with Iran, what it means on a geopolitical level, and his new perspective on how Trump views the European/NATO allies against their refusal to engage in eliminating the Iran nuclear threat they all consistently debated and claimed to be important.

It should be noted however, that it is only as effective as it is because the US and Israel put in the work of degrading their air force, navy, missile capabilities, and command and control that their ability to threaten non-Iranian shipping and our blockading assets is virtually nonexistent.
The blockade would not have worked with anything like its current efficacy as an opening move.

It took more than 60 days to go from the highs in January to the lows in March and about 13 days to almost reach new highs in the markets. This is Capital Flows, not because of Trump, because everywhere else around the globe is in some serious financial turmoil. The stock market economy is not the real economy.
I understand why Trump wants to get rid of J. Powell and put a monkey in to lower interest rates but like I’ve said, Trump doesn’t understand interest rates, as a borrower, yes, but not from an investment perspective. besides, Secretary Bessent just said on April 13th that the Fed is doing the right thing and should take a “Wait and See” approach. Now why would Bessent say this? If the Fed lowered Rates and this war ticks back up, the Fed will have egg on the their face. If they raise rates, the expenses on the interest rates rise exponentially.
I know what President Trump is trying to do because Clinton did it in the mid 90’s and Former Treasury Secretary, Yellen did it in 2024. Trump wants to swap the long term yields for the short term, that’s great and all but trust me, even those Short term Rates will rise they always do. Don’t worry though, Trump will be out of office by then.
The Federal Reserve has absolutely no power to stop our Government from Borrowing and spending, been that way for years.
The Fed is a corrupt organization as any. I remember Bernanke lower rates to zero creating the housing bubble.

The artificial and excessively high interest rates inflicted on the United States by Jerome Powell are what’s causing the high federal deficit and borrowing. Cutting the interest rate on T-Bills to 1% instead of 4% would reduce federal spending, the federal deficit and federal borrowing by a lot. Not to mention what it’ll do for home construction and car sales!
Powell is a psychopath and has Congress and SCOTUS on his side.
Powell is spending $3 billion to renovate the Federal Reserve Building.
