Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent appears on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo to discuss the Asia tour by President Trump and the trade delegation that culminated with a lengthy meeting between President Trump and Chairman Xi Jinping.
By locking down trade agreements with Australia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Japan and South Korea in advance of the meeting with Xi, President Trump had effectively boxed out the maneuvers of Beijing and isolated any contravening strategy.
Chairman Xi was facing a U.S. strategic trade reset with multiple options for replacement of Chinese goods and resources. As a result, the Beijing trade delegation recognized President Trump had effectively neutered the scale of their economic power and influence over the U.S. economy. Instead, the best play for big panda was to shake hands and come to agreeable terms. WATCH:
.
Playing into President Trump’s hands was/is the strains currently ongoing within the Chinese domestic economy. Further friction against the USA would have weakened Chairman Xi domestically.
The missing piece of the puzzle is now Russia.

President Trump’s gift to XI prevented him form shaking hands on their tentative Trade Deal. Your move, Xi!

Brilliant!
After all, PDJT is the KING of dealmaking. So, he is really a KING. Take that you pond scum D RATS. Now he can focus on demolishing the D RAT Party.
It will get worse now for the Pond Scum, (Re-post from earlier thread)
Breaking:
President Trump just announced that his response to South Korea’s magnanimous gift and presentation of his new pure Gold Crown,…. is to order the building of a new “No Kings Palace” situated in a five block area just East of his New WH Ballroom.
The Palace, which will be based on Walt Disney’s palace design, will replace the current Exec Office building and will be his new residence, while the traditional WH will be relegated to the Kings’ Cabinet Secretaries and renamed “The Staff House!”
When asked, “Why” by journos, Trump further claimed that the response to his new Ballroom, which costs appx. $ 300 MM, which is just under Obama’s WH “Hoops” court cost, has been so positive, that “Why Not?”
Hearing the Royal announcement, Dim Leaders Schumer, Jefferies and Pelosi have just been seen running and screaming throughout the Capitol with their hair on fire,… just like their devoted MSM in pursuit.
/S,…. (please do this Meme,….. “King Troll Master”, Donald)
Hair on fire or sombreros ablaze??
Adjusted for simpleton Joe’s inflation, barry-o’s hoop project cost $560mm of tax payers money in present net value
How does anyone spend that much on a basketball court? Oh, never mind.
Floors of courts. 1 4×3 snapshot of the Messiah shooting a shotgun.
-Fortunately we got a 1-year reprieve on the rare earth minerals blackout.
-We’re now up to 38 trillion in debt.
-Hopefully we can avoid a ‘Gulf of Tonkin’ incident off the coast of Venezuela.
-We’re celebrating a big SNAP weekend coming up.
-Our Keith Kellogg-backed associates will be witnessing Ukraine losses at Pokrovsk, Mirnograd, & Kupyansk shortly.
Sometimes the cup really is half-empty.
So, it’s taken many years for the uni-party to get us into so many of these issues facing the country. President Trump has been in office 10 months. Give him some time. Not even a king can just snap his fingers and fix it instantly.
Posted like a true “Nattering Nabob of Negativism!” Guess some can’t take President Trump’s constant Winning for America First,… but thanks for playing.
Stick around,…. Donald’s just getting warmed up and the cup will soon be overflowing with Common Sense solutions.
Love it
Just for ___ and giggles, I’d love to see a generated image of PDJT wearing that crown.
At the State of the Union Address, with live feeds of the spontaneous combustion of hair from the likes of Pelosi, Waters and others. Of course, the turban of Ilhan will explode from the concealed IED!
PDJT put Panda in the corner.
So, what kind of box is WEF idiot Carney sitting in?
All that left is the cat box.
Litter box!
That’s where the turd belongs.
The penalty box of course1
Drug cartel box, in which he is apparently the boss.. according to Secretary Bessent’s sideways reference.
Same for Mexico’s Sheinbaum.
Please do not tell me they don’t know what’s going on within their respective nations.
Maybe very wet and about to come apart?
A bos of his own creations! Canadians deserve no more, no less. Canucks, start paying attention and for God’s sake, start doing some5otbet than rolling over. You’re better than that!
Hi,
We “ SnowMexicans” are sitting here in Palm Springs doing anything but rolling over.
Many of our fellow Canadians were gaoled etc, Including. Church pastor for going against our fascists in government.
Millions of us pushed our psychopathic Trudeau to invoke the war measures act for only the second time in history.
To thwart our brave truckers and their supporters.
Like the U.S. but maybe
more so the Canadian media is in cahoots with the fascist government.
Cheers!
They need somebody to pick up the MCGA banner and go for it! Soon!
A Box Car headed for home!
An outhouse?
I really don’t understand why Sundance added that final sentence – “Russia.”
Perhaps it might have been more appropriate to say, “BRICS” and other similar movements. Which of course are being actively promoted by, yet not lead by, Russia. This is not “the West™,” and it is also not “EU 2.0.”
I do believe that this aspect will very rapidly become very important to functional international relations. Namely, that “the majority of the world’s population” is constructing its own way forward.
If you’re still under the illusion that “everyone has to use SWIFT,” and that every transaction has to pass through “the American Dollar™” on its way to anywhere, and that “sanctions” designed to block access to your system will bring the planet to its knees … then you need to take a bromide and think again.
The secure technology is there – “off the shelf” – and the international need is now obvious. Many nations regard this as a fundamental national-security requirement, and they are correct.
“Redundancy.” “Competition!” “Real choice!” These are things that for too long have been lacking.
Of course(!) those who wish to trade with the United States must do so in her currency, and on her terms whatever they may now be. That is understood.
Mike the foreigner. I had been wondering about that.
Yes it is our system and our internet.
Are you a Canadian by chance named Carney
Please: Don’t speculate about “me.” I’m just as American-native as you are. My points are entirely sincere, and I believe “on point.” Please don’t mock me. (Thanks.)
Right before our “may you live in interesting times” eyes, the rules of international trade are evolving. And we must be extremely aware of this.
Call it, if you like, “the natural consequence of advancing communications technology.” SWIFT was originally architected across the communications infrastructure of its day. (So-called “T-1 lines,” etcetera.) That “advantage,” once utterly essential, no longer exists. There are now many, very-secure, ways for a bank to send a message to its counterpart: both to secure it, and to guarantee that the message actually gets through “as tendered.”
Likewise: “Finance.” Very much as an indirect consequence of communication and so forth, this very important aspect has evolved, too. The notion of “central currency” is changing fast. It no longer matters whether gold bars are being schlepped back and forth in the tombs of New York City.
We live on an extremely large planet, and other actors are making independent changes to protect their own positions, and they can do that, and we can’t prevent it. (Nor should we.) The “exclusive” positions that we once enjoyed are no longer ours. We must adapt.
Just gotta support you! You’re spot On!
what purpose is served with such a response? its just a question or call to debate how we think the world order will evolve. and a very important question for us citizens of the former republic of the US who have benefited deeply from a lot of advantages that will not last forever. not every possible outcome will work out well for us, regardless who is in charge.
There are dozens upon dozens of currencies that NO One wants to hold. They are worthless. Most folks do not want to hold the Chinese Yuan…they devalue it periodically to remain competitive. Most Oil countries want dollars; so they can trade with other nations and not have problems. SWIFT works and is safe. I want my Letter of Credit with a US bank so the Law that applies is US law. It is currency but it is also the rule of law. Everything is priced in dollars. It is a lot of work and a lot of risk to use other currencies.
Take a look at the BRICS group. You want to get paid in any of those currencies? Nobody does. Brazil Socialist, Russia maybe later, India nope, China Nope, South Africa..be my guest.
I respectfully yield to your opinion.
Mike your point is well made. Blockchain is here. Stablecoims, for better or worse, are USD backed. Transactions can take place in minutes at reduced costs. Many reading will disagree with this take, BUT tech always moves forward and humans always find a way to enhance and make it work. What we see today may not be the same solution 20+ years from now. Those that scoff at innovation get left behind. 47 said as much in his ASEAN keynote.
jMHO, please no flames.
the entire purpose of the BRICS system being raised is that you do not have to pay for or hold other currencies.
and the overwhelming majority of the world has grown very tired of our antics and our supposed “law.”
the separation is inevitable, whether it is fast or slow. we should be planning to take care of ourselves in the best way possible rather than exacerbating and accelerating the process with our flailing and coercion and violence.
“Now, at this point in the transaction, you have to convert your currency to-and-from The United States Dollar.™” Why? Because you have to! Because we said so! And yes, this also means that you have to pay U.S.(!!) exchange fees twice!
Does this arrangement sound fair to you?
Spain is shipping wine to Brazil. Nonetheless, “these are the ‘rules’.”
Hence, the reason why a digital bridge currency like XRP is likely to grow legs. Of course, the Genius Act will require stable coins, like RLUSD to be backed by the Treasury bonds that nobody wants to buy anymore. That’s why it passed with support from both parties.
Also, SWIFT messaging will be cut out of most of those transaction with the adoption of the ISO20022 messaging standard. Settlement remains to be seen.
Who knows how it all turns out? But acting like nothing is changing and that things will stay the way they are because that how they’ve been, is naive. We weaponized SWIFT and the world no longer trusts the West in the financial world where trust is everything. Interesting times indeed.
Amen to that. 🙏
No country wants other currencies, as many have defaulted on their debt, and currencies are worthless.
USA has never defaulted on its debt. USD is going nowhere and will remain as the reserve currency, and will grow stronger as EU countries begin to fail due to debt. Capital has nowhere else to park but USD. That’s why EU countries need UKR-RUS war money. EU is going down quicker than the Titanic. France & Germany probably lead the way to the bottom.
Pushing for going CBDC ASAP is indicative of the sinking economy ship. EU is doomed.
I remember hearing that President Trump had placed an ultimatum of, if you want to trade with the US than you can not be a member of an alternative currency/system. At the current time, the USA has the power to push such an ultimatum. What the future holds no one knows.
China is a founding member of BRICS. They are diversifying away from the US$. They also hold a monopoly on refining rare earths.
This is a huge problem for our MIC, essentially a check mate, as they must have rare earths to manufacture the weapons to make their hundreds billions off our treasury and add to the bone crushing economic effects.
It is very refreshing to finally see a country tell our corrupt, incompetent and reckless permanent government ” bad dog, no treat”.
And our State Department/CIA complex needs the weapons to supply the military in their endless attempts of undeclared wars to force other countries through violence to kowtow to their empire. As regime changing, arming and commanding the regime in Kiev is the latest and most dangerous example.
It would take 20 years for the US to catch up, once steps were, if ever, taken to develop the capacity to refine rare earths in large quantities.
Empires always rise and fall, ours is falling rapidly.
Isn’t the Mojave Desert loaded with rare earth minerals? Minerals that American industry has not been able to extract due to environmental legislation passed by long-time CCP running dog Dianne Feinstein?
Yes, near the stateline of California and Nevada outside of Vegas. Rare earths are actually commonly occurring, its’ the scale of costs to mine to consider for each deposit.
The issue is the technology, costs and timeline of effort to construct the facilities to refine and process these essential elements.
China embarked on a long term comprehensive strategy for their manufacturing and sourcing resources years ago.
The fruition of focusing on solid strategy and policies has established their position today.
Yes we can mine within our country relatively rapidly, but the designing and construction of processing plants would take decades to complete.
We simply have no long term strategy and focus on anything. Except regime changes, attempts to isolate or invade countries that are perceived threats to our global hegemony are bipartisan and carry through every administration.
The corrupt and incompetence of our leadership is self evident when reviewing the string of utter failures. Along with ignoring reliable supplies of rare earths to keep the MIC going. Oops.
Absolutely true about “no one knows”, especially now! The whole World is tuned into a Muslim becoming the Mayor of NYC, just a few years after bringing down the WTC! Unfortunately, that makes it “POSSIBLE” to see America go from a powerhouse under Trump to a shithole of tyranny, corruption and despair, under a Muslim in our present Political Parties!
$138 TRILLION in debt, massive civil disobedience, serious religious and racial splits, a hopelessly corrupt federal bureaucracy and judiciary, a Congress craving more laundered money from wars and “foreign-aid”, sure doesn’t give one the confidence to say we are on stable bedrock and worthy of the World’s reserve currency.
Very much appreciate reading your comment. Anyone following the larger geo politics/economics can plainly see that the end of the American hegemonic global empire is ending.
This period of time of a flailing dominant global empire dying, is the most dangerous, as seen repeatedly through history.
Particularly with the advent of nuclear weaponry. We are so far behind the technological standard of modern weaponry that the best option would be to develop an actual competent diplomatic staff at the State Department. This has atrophied to the ridiculous stage. Rubio epitomizes and encapsulates how degraded this essential department has become.
Every move that the previous 6 administrations and now Trumps’ administration is making further accelerates the resistance to our Empire.
India is the weakest link of the powerful and actually sovereign nations, but being pushed away and into greater integration with Russia and China. Along with most of the global south.
We do have absolute control of the pathetic European Union, but these countries are committing economic and societal suicide in real time. They are also a massive financial and national security liability. Descending into despotic 3rd world conditions along with spiritual filth permeating their national characters.
Enforcement and accountability are now paramount.
China had better start delivering, immediately, and we’d better go on the offensive the instant they fail to adhere to their commitments.
Didn’t Xi welch on previous deals?
sad panda.
Sad panda noises in that pic…
So……….Does that mean that all those mean and nasty tariffs that Trump has imposed, the ones that would certainly spell economic doom on a global scale, are really just negotiating tools that Trump has been using as leverage to bring about better trade terms for everyone? Wow. This guy should right a book! Ohhh, Ohhh, I know….and he can call it “The Art of the Deal”!
The republicans can end the government shutdown simply by invoking the nuclear option.
Why don’t they do this?
Exactly! Just do it for CRs…
I suspect that if they choose to do so it will be after the elections in NY, NJ, PA, VA, etc. so as to not give the Democrat candidates the ability to have a rash of Orange-Man Bad/GOP really bad rallying cries to get the fence sitting democrats off their duff and go vote.
Politics is all about timing.
Optics- if they ended the filibuster rules then they couldn’t hide behind “the evil D’s thwarted us, but really, we tried” shtick. Remember, it’s uniparty first for most of them and the blame game keeps them employed.
Why in goodness sake would the President want to end the filibuster on this issue? Look how many non-Americans are abusing the SNAP system. When you have a variety of black American men saying end it………I am all in on it. Black men should know more than any other because after 1965, a lot of black women decided to marry the system. And that is not me speaking, that is highly influential black men like Thomas Sewell.
Now just imagine what damage Dems can do when they are in charge and a simple majority vote is all that is needed to destroy our economy and other important things. As I said before, IMO this is what they are after.
I sincerely hope that Thune remains strong and understands what they are up to.
Exactly. Remember, when you seek additional powers it is wise to first imagine your enemies having those powers, and them withholding that power from you.
Or, to put it another way: Imagine the shoe is on the other foot.
It gives it as a gift to the Dems, who will be happy to use it when they get themselves cheated into power again.
Much of the blame for ChinaGate lays squarely at the feet of Council On Foreign Relations member and arch-Fabian Speaker NAFTA Gingrich. He made sure his fellow CFR buddy Clinton was not impeached for treason but the silly Lewinsky deflection psyop. They stole the 96 GOP Primaries and elections along with high treason with China
Russia and China are decades ahead of the US with military technology.
And they are both capable of surge production of volumes of weapon systems and munitions by an order of magnitude many times greater than the combined US, NATO and our other colony/vassal states.
“The missing piece of the puzzle is now Russia.”
Canada not being mentioned – lol. Carney must be sitting there thinking we are so screwed. If he can’t leverage China anymore, he will have to run to the EU, more please, only to find out the EU’s pot is empty.
The missing peace is about to lose the panda and the eagle thanks to Putins recent nuclear bellicosity towards the US.
The sanctions on the 2 Russian oil giants already spooked China at least on seaborn oil
Meh.
Smart states will work with Trump to create a business embracing environment. A new golden age.
Democrat states will continue to punish evil businesses.
That adorable little panda bear always makes me smile.
And Canada nowhere to be seen.
As always .
President Trump never ceases to amaze!
The whole trip was brilliant. I have to say my favorite part was the when South Korea award him their country’s highest award. It was a gigantic gold crown! No King, right! HAHA, The left would have lost it if he had put it on! So funny!
I hope he does a meme with him wearing it and dancing in celebration.
Somebody needs to gather all these Fox News reporters in one room and inform them that President Xi’s name is *not* pronounced “Gee”.
I get that a lot of people can’t pronounce that “X” sound in Mandarin. But for goodness sake, just say “See” or “She”. Close enough.
How they came up with “Gee” is beyond me. And 80% of ’em do it.
Drives me nuts.
Rant over.
Xi Jinping
(She-Jen-Pink.) Ok. Yeah. That kinda fits. Ok.
My Mandarin is a little rusty. (Non-existent)
Jean Ping. (Better)
Goldman Sachs CEO calls decades of US-China trade policy a ‘mistake,’ sees progress in Trump-Xi talks
https://www.foxbusiness.com/media/goldman-sachs-ceo-calls-decades-us-china-trade-policy-a-mistake-sees-progress-trump-xi-talks
By boxing out Xi/China, President Trump was able to move his/our agenda forward. This avoids a Boxer Revolution (sorry Wordman)!
After this successful Far East trip by PDT and what appears to be fairly solid ground with China, when PDT & Putin come to a trade agreement, the leftist and the globalists with absolutely vapor lock. The best thing PDT can do right now is totally ignore the Dims and their “people are starving BS” while continuing to advance his trade agenda.
China shook hands with the US, but that doesn’t mean they will do what they agreed upon.
I give it a few weeks until everything is back as it was…
If that were to come to pass, 100%+ tariffs (and more) will also be back.
“President Donald Trump is a friendly dealmaker, until he is not.”
~ Sundance
It’s so nice to have a President who actually looks out for this country instead of selling us out to globalists.
Can you imagine Kamala or any other Dem at that bargaining table across from Xi?
Who else, of EITHER PARTY, would have had the INSTINCT to hustle up treaties and contracts that neutralized the monopoly that China was trying to leverage. So long as our political system is DOMINATED by liars, cheaters, drunks, dopers and people of no experience and sketchy intellect, AMERICA WILL SLIDE FURTHER INTO DEBT, BECOME MORE VIOLENT, UNFAIR AND DANGEROUS! Change America by changing Washington DC back into what it used to represent!
MAGA Fabulous!
👊👊🙏🏻🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️
All theater.
China has the industrial might now, with the science and engineering to back it – and getting stronger while the US is a hollow vestige of its former power that will not return.
https://www.realclearworld.com/2025/10/29/the_us_is_on_track_to_lose_a_war_with_china_1144012.html
But don’t worry, there will be no war, because those intelligent folks on the Virginia side of the Potomac in formerly bucolic zip code 22101 are well aware of the situation, and have been steering the decline of the US for decades. They are aiming for an end state of a diminished totalitarian US as part of “multi-polar global governance” headed by China, managed by the steerers of course.
Trump is an actor in the theater.
The curtain has not come down yet. There are many more scenes to be performed and the play is being written as it is being enacted. Nobody knows what the last act will look like.
Some suggest that the big picture implies long-term collusion between veiled entities steering the superpowers (i.e. certain elements in their ICs), following the philosophy of Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War” shaping the execution of China’s 100 Year Plan.
If that is true, it is safe to say that the “last act” completing the US shift to a mid-tier member of an NWO dominated by China will NOT be war. The Art of War emphasizes subduing the adversary without fighting, doubtless the US and China don’t want to incur the ravages of war (although they are OK with imposing them on e.g. Ukraine and Russia as part of longer-term strategy).
To be sure, it appears that the US is self-undermining in multiple ways as part of a continued general sinking, including DIE-weighted impotence in all spheres including education, mass immigration flood, biowarfare attrition by the engineered virus and genetic manipulation shots (which targeted the US axis only), and military depletion with grossly inadequate industrial base. (Not to mention the DOGE-driven cuts to DoD Civilians degrading vital military acquisitions, with virtual cessation of support for the last 31 days.) Could all these aligned sinking tectonics really be uncoordinated?
The primacy of the industrial base and its scientific/engineering aspects cannot be overemphasized. This is the foundational shift raising China and sinking the US. It’s not just the military side, and it cannot be reversed in a few years – if ever.
But the military aspect is highly visible, due to the military imperative:
https://www.csis.org/analysis/consequences-chinas-new-rare-earths-export-restrictions
https://features.csis.org/preparing-the-US-industrial-base-to-deter-conflict-with-China/
All signs imply that the US axis sinking without war will continue, as the integrated US-global surveillance state control system development continues and the China-based NWO continues strengthening. The bio-terror may be the trigger that brings totalitarian tyranny down on the US – there are multiple bioweapons masquerading as “vaccines” in the pipeline that make modRNA shots look relatively benign by comparison.
Such as Replicons:
https://merylnass.substack.com/p/self-amplifying-mrna-vaccines
https://www.thefocalpoints.com/p/attack-of-the-replicons
“The primacy of the industrial base and its scientific/engineering aspects cannot be overemphasized. This is the foundational shift raising China and sinking the US. ”
This has left the third industrial revolution behind. Few US citizens are aware of just how far ahead China is in terms of both scale and sophistication, as well as accelerating velocity.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2025/10/12/why-western-executives-visit-china-coming-back-terrified/
“Talk is cheap”, China has the real stuff necessary to dominate.
Enjoy the theater. It will continue because it is necessary to keep the masses controlled as the geopolitical shift occurs.
(Consumerism season is nearly here, you can obsess over many Chinese product purchases. But don’t forget Luke 12:15.)
Found the wumao. 😏
So how big are our tariffs w China?
Xi watching Trump play 3D chess and having to watch him make moves for China as well as the U.S….That has to be humilating for big Panda…Panda sad.
And what about the stupid Senate voting against the President’s tariff program? How will that affect all of this? I never thought I’d see the day when our own government would go rogue against us like this. I hope every one of them gets voted out.
Delusions …………will have consequences.
Not that anyone here will admit, the DJT circus is all smoke and mirrors……but,
Once again, Trump negotiated with his own imagination, and declared victory over reality.
Folks, wishing it is so, will not make it so.

Who let all the anti-American trolls in here?
Exactly, how did you get in?
I came in the front door to theCONSERVATIVEtreehouse.
