In a rather remarkable moment of intercessory faith, Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered a tribute to Charlie Kirk filled with purpose and faith.
There were some very remarkable moments in the hours-long Christian affirmation for Charlie that took place yesterday in Glendale, Arizona; however, this testimonial from Marco Rubio is among the top tier.
Rubio begins with good natured humor; this cognitively breaks the psychological drag of recent memory and reorients the audience. Secretary Rubio then begins to speak eloquently about the impact of Charlie Kirk and the light he brought to a generation. Rubio bears witness.
Toward the end of his remarks, Secretary Rubio then enmeshed the truth of Charlie’s message to the life of Christ, and the immortal connection that binds a Christian nation in spiritual purpose. Like Charlie, Rubio has a gift. WATCH:
THAT, my friends, is a powerful seven minutes!
♦ The First Martyr – Stephen is introduced in the Book of Acts as one of the seven deacons appointed to oversee the distribution of food to widows in the early church. He is described as a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit. Stephen’s bold preaching and miracles drew the attention of the Jewish authorities, leading to his arrest.
During his trial, Stephen delivered a powerful speech recounting Israel’s history and accusing the religious leaders of resisting the Holy Spirit. This speech culminated in his being stoned to death, making him the first Christian martyr.
♦ Paul – Saul, who later became known as the Apostle Paul, was present during Stephen’s stoning. The witnesses laid their clothes at Saul’s feet, indicating his approval of the execution. At this time, Saul was a zealous Pharisee, actively persecuting Christians and seeking to eradicate the new faith. His involvement in Stephen’s death highlights the intense opposition faced by early Christians from Jewish leaders.
♦ Transformation of Saul – Saul’s life took a dramatic turn on the road to Damascus, where he encountered the risen Christ. This event led to his conversion, and he became one of the most influential apostles in spreading Christianity. His transformation from a persecutor of Christians to a devoted follower of Christ is a powerful testament to the grace and power of God.
Significance – The stories of Saul and Stephen illustrate the early church’s struggles and the profound changes that can occur through faith. Stephen’s martyrdom is often seen as a catalyst for the spread of Christianity, as it prompted many believers to flee Jerusalem and share the gospel elsewhere. Saul’s conversion marks a pivotal moment in Christian history, as he became a key figure in establishing the church and writing many of the New Testament letters.
Summary: Stephen’s martyrdom and Saul’s transformation are central to understanding the early Christian movement and the challenges it faced. Their stories reflect the depth of faith, the virtue of redemption, and the power of the gospel.
Many people, me included, have pondered the remarkable transition of Marco Rubio.
God is in control!

.

This has to be the best piece I’ve ever read and listened to on CTH.
I think he had the best message and his delivery was excellent.
When I read about the trial, testimony and stoning of Stephen I see Christ (who heretofore was depicted as sitting at the right hand of the Father), in the process of standing from being seated, rising and standing in respect to welcome Stephen.
I echo every Treeper’s pro-Rubio sentiments here. I’ll only add this to them:
I really respected his humility. It was earnest, imho. And admitting that at times you took the ‘easy path’ or ‘road of least resistance’ a time or two in your life shows a humility that translates to the ability to repent, and to own-up. As a woman, these are the qualities that make a man worthy of the title.
Also, thought about withholding this, but here it is:
If we review the tape when the VP filled-in for The Charlie Kirk Show, we see and hear a stark contrast to what he admitted to. Not good.
And while I can see that his wife does look more smiley and not as truly miserable as she was for too long a period, I’m not convinced the transformation is bc JD Vance actually repented. I prayed to God that is is so. As a survivor of an abusive husband, I am all too familiar with that look.
Not saying he’s abusive, tbc. But I’ve also heard Brenden Dilley say (as if it was a feature, not a bug 🙄) that it’s widely known in D.C. that Vance is vindictive, that this ‘quality’ strikes fear in the political class at large, and that it’s one of the reasons he ultimately was chosen -essentially as an insurance policy for DJT.
And I will leave it at that.
Vindictive, in politics, for the GOP/MAGA?????
I’m all for that.
Guess who else is vindictive. His boss. Anyone who has followed the life of DJT knows that. With that said, it’s my humble opinion that a President with a vindictive streak is exactly what we need in this moment. DJT cannot allow the perpetrators of the Russia hoax, and all the others crimes against him and the office of President, to walk free. It’s his duty as POTUS and defender of the Constitution to mop up. So let’s not get overly concerned with vindictiveness if it’s used in service to a righteous cause.
Marco is right. Charlie’s battle was political, but at its core was spiritual…good vs evil…the gospel of Jesus vs the ruler of the world. I’m so encouraged to see how Marco has risen to the challenges of his Cabinet position. A rising star in the MAGA movement, beyond my expectation. May God watch over him and his family.
Sunday Kirk Revival BURIES Kissinger’s British Foreign Policy https://www.prometheanaction.com/the-monday-brief-sunday-kirk-revival-buries-kissingers-british-foreign-policy-september-22-2025/
Barbara Boyd delves into the revival of America’s founding principles, emphasizing a departure from British-influenced foreign policies towards a more sovereign and God-guided nation. Featuring a critical analysis of President Trump’s recent efforts for peace in Israel and Ukraine, Boyd contrasts these with the British empire’s historical manipulation, exemplified by Henry Kissinger’s controversial stances. The episode also highlights the significance of the Charlie Kirk Memorial and its alignment with John Quincy Adam’s visions for America. Boyd calls for support and continued dedication to restoring America’s true mission as outlined by its founders.
We have people in Trumps cabinet that can caarry the banner of Christ and Marco Rubio certainly stands out. Like Sundance, I am amazed at his very vocal faith. I would be proud to vote for him if he chooses to run for President.
It’s like new lamps are coming to light and they are not retreating to be under baskets but shining forth on lamp stands.
Wonderful. Thank you SD.
Mr. Rubio is constantly reaffirming his strength as a leader & I am both surprised & in awe. What a powerful tribute to Charlie & his faith. A faith that may be on the precipice of a grand renewal & at time when it is so desperately needed. Well done Charlie, well done Mr. Rubio.
My heart hurts so, but my spirit is soaring. Thank you Charlie, thank you Sundance, and thank you Marco Rubio. 🇺🇸
and Stephen…
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved his speech and said Amen Amen as he finished. So be it.
Keep in mind President Trump may not for whatever reason finish his term and Vance would become President. So if that happens he would need all our support.
Rubio did a great job.
I have to admit that, since I rarely watch TV, I am ignorant if any of this was actually broadcast in the U.S.
I would imagine that there are so many Satan worshippers in America’s “legacy” broadcast companies that this was probably broadcast more internationally than domestically to our shame.
When Jesus comes again it will be in wrath. And He will save His remnant, Israel.
Get saved! Through His shed blood on the cross He has saved those who *believe* on Him. Without faith it is impossible to please Him.
Rubio fumbled a bit. It clearly says in Romans that Christ died for all, but His salvation is *only upon them that believe the gospel*: How that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again the third day.
It’s important that people hear the whole gospel and not be misled that they will be going wholly… it is faith that counts for righteousness.
However, the emphasis on the fact that sin, and the sin nature, is what we need saving FROM, is mostly absent from today’s evangelism, so the result is an incomplete conversion. I see it over and over again, as such Believers fall away.
And that essential part of the Gospel message is anathema in today’s culture.
Therefore, the New Birth & consequent indwelling of the Holy Spirit is short-circuited. And as Jesus said to Nicodemus, “Truly, truly, I say unto you, you MUST BE BORN AGAIN in order to see the Kingdom of God”. NEW BIRTH, NOT BAPTISM.
It’s my hope that Charlie’s death is the blood of the martyrs, the seed of the long-awaited and prayed-for revival in our country. God DOES work in such ways.
Thanks to god SD! This piece was masterful! You know, while I do not understand the concept of god coming down to earth(who did Jesus pray to then), I do support everything you said(and Rubio). Thank you for such a well written piece. We all are blessed by God every day. Charlie Kirk really lived like Christ in everything he did. So hard to do in this sinful world. And yes, Rubio has changed, after his speech I now put him in the MAGA camp. What is the name of that group singing? Left me with tears in my eyes. The nation is waking up spiritually (Matthew 5:3 “Blessed are those conscious of their spiritual need for theirs is the kingdom of the heaven”), and the Charlie Kirk Memorial MOVED THE NEEDLE towards the nation’s believing in God and Christ and thus behaving more Christ-like. Like Charlie.
I had been very impressed by Rubio these short nine months but this was truly amazing to see.
Very Impressive, a masterful delivery.
I was rather hoping for 3 blasts from a shofar (sp?) but that may be blasphemy…I’m not sure.
I see falseness in words and I do not trust.
