In a rather remarkable moment of intercessory faith, Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered a tribute to Charlie Kirk filled with purpose and faith.
There were some very remarkable moments in the hours-long Christian affirmation for Charlie that took place yesterday in Glendale, Arizona; however, this testimonial from Marco Rubio is among the top tier.
Rubio begins with good natured humor; this cognitively breaks the psychological drag of recent memory and reorients the audience. Secretary Rubio then begins to speak eloquently about the impact of Charlie Kirk and the light he brought to a generation. Rubio bears witness.
Toward the end of his remarks, Secretary Rubio then enmeshed the truth of Charlie’s message to the life of Christ, and the immortal connection that binds a Christian nation in spiritual purpose. Like Charlie, Rubio has a gift. WATCH:
THAT, my friends, is a powerful seven minutes!
♦ The First Martyr – Stephen is introduced in the Book of Acts as one of the seven deacons appointed to oversee the distribution of food to widows in the early church. He is described as a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit. Stephen’s bold preaching and miracles drew the attention of the Jewish authorities, leading to his arrest.
During his trial, Stephen delivered a powerful speech recounting Israel’s history and accusing the religious leaders of resisting the Holy Spirit. This speech culminated in his being stoned to death, making him the first Christian martyr.
♦ Paul – Saul, who later became known as the Apostle Paul, was present during Stephen’s stoning. The witnesses laid their clothes at Saul’s feet, indicating his approval of the execution. At this time, Saul was a zealous Pharisee, actively persecuting Christians and seeking to eradicate the new faith. His involvement in Stephen’s death highlights the intense opposition faced by early Christians from Jewish leaders.
♦ Transformation of Saul – Saul’s life took a dramatic turn on the road to Damascus, where he encountered the risen Christ. This event led to his conversion, and he became one of the most influential apostles in spreading Christianity. His transformation from a persecutor of Christians to a devoted follower of Christ is a powerful testament to the grace and power of God.
Significance – The stories of Saul and Stephen illustrate the early church’s struggles and the profound changes that can occur through faith. Stephen’s martyrdom is often seen as a catalyst for the spread of Christianity, as it prompted many believers to flee Jerusalem and share the gospel elsewhere. Saul’s conversion marks a pivotal moment in Christian history, as he became a key figure in establishing the church and writing many of the New Testament letters.
Summary: Stephen’s martyrdom and Saul’s transformation are central to understanding the early Christian movement and the challenges it faced. Their stories reflect the depth of faith, the virtue of redemption, and the power of the gospel.
Many people, me included, have pondered the remarkable transition of Marco Rubio.
God is in control!
“The Blessing” 🙌🏼
Charlie Kirk Memorial – 9-21-25🙏🏻“The Lord bless you and keep you: The Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you: The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26 pic.twitter.com/KNmiA9FSgF

.

May God continue to bless Marco Rubio.
May God strengthen his faith, increase his courage and wisdom, and continue to guide and direct him.
To God be the glory forever and ever. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
Amen
Amen.
His eloquence, astute observations and humor were a welcome surprise since his appointment.
The addition of such a vivid expression of scripture was profound. ✝️🇺🇲💕
Mildly surprised.
Abundantly pleased.
Wow, our GOD is GREAT! Praise be to our LORD!
I have come to realize my approach towards the pitiful decline of our nation
has been all wrong. The evil has neutered me. I pray this ends today!
Marco has shown it is possible to have revival in our government, his speech astonished me.
So I am falling on my knee’s and asking our LORD to bring a powerful revival into all of
our government, and then across our nation.
As believers in the ONE TRUE GOD we must no longer get angry when satan and his demons attack us.
Rather lets begin to gather round these malevolent creatures, possessed by evil, and pray for them.
Pray out loud and boldly. Satan will flee when confronted by our righteous prayers.
Gather in groups around these lost souls, with arms out stretched to our HOLY GOD
and ask his forgiveness with a repentant heart, and then exorcise the demons from among us.
We must not fight fight fight. Rather, submit to the one true GOD. HE has provided the tools we need to
overcome satan. We must put on the armor of GOD each day, and work work work, to glorify our LORD.
And all the while pray unceasingly.
With the faith the size of a mustard seed we can move mountains, and cause satan to flee.
And lastly let us all stand together and watch to see what our GOD will do.
Amen! So be It!! Thank you
That was unbelievable! When Marco mentioned that when Jesus returns and that we will all be together with Charlie again tears filled my eyes. How often we forget to tell people about heaven.
That was immensely powerful. God bless the USA. 🇺🇸!
DD
I think God gave Rubio the courage to break the shackles that held him fast. We have just experienced a remarkable awakening, not just with Rubio but with many others in our administration. In these past 11 days since Charlie’s death the name above all names has been lifted high by people you would never imagine would do this.
I think he was subtly acknowledging his own path in his remarks about allowing yourself to seek shelter among those who already agree with you and hear only from yes-men. I think he was talking about himself in the Senate, but he’s clearly been liberated from that echo chamber and is seeing things clearly; particularly clearly given his remarks on the need for Our Savior.
Even Vance said he, in the past, hadn’t testified as he should, but acknowledged that he had done more in the past two weeks than in previous political years.
Rubio’s remarks were one of the best of the day. He really has come a long way it seems and is doing the job Charlie would want him to. God be with Marco on his journey and ours.
Charlie Kirk. Christian martyr.
Marco Rubio. Herald of God.
God, please send revival to our land. Amen. 🙏✝️🙏
It is already here.
I believe it is happening !
We as a nation and as a Christian body have been mourning together for the loss of Charlie . And I believe we as a nation are awaking and reviving . Thank you Jesus .
I share your belief. We do seem to be in the beginning days of a Great Awakening-led by Generation Z young people.
As a Baby Boomer, I feel qualified to say that, as badly as my generation messed things up, I believe that Gen Z will lead a restoration.
May God make it so!
We shall all grow in faith and work hard with God’s help to model Christ in our daily lives. Words without acting them out come off as hypocritical. We need to read the Bible, pray, and learn from Bible believing Christians. Don’t just let the emotions carry you for a week or two, do the work.
As Charlie so succinctly put it to a student:
Every day; read your Bible and do what it says.
I caught Sec. Rubio’s faith conviction at his swearing in and have been confident since.
I mentioned yesterday a teaching I heard; when Saul held the coats of Stephen’s killers, God took vengeance on the darkness by transforming Saul into Paul to evangelize the world, changing the course of History. So with Charlie, Lord, Amen!
Powerful !
There is a podcast called Strange Encounters with Rick Burgess who is a born again Christian. He gives an excellent explanation based on the Bible answering the question some have of why didn’t God save Charlie Kirk from being killed.
Rick is a deep man of faith and has a daily radio program (used to be called the Rick and Bubba Show) and a bible teacher. He is solid.
Agreed!
Really enjoyed listening to Rick and Bubba’s radio show.
Hard to drink that first cup of coffee when tears are streaming down your face and words touch your heart so profoundly. If God is for us then who can stand against us. Showers of blessings.
But the coffee somehow goes down a little easier know Jesus Christ, our God and Savior, is with us and with Charlie’s family during this period of mourning.
“Je suis, Charlie!”
Sec Rubio undoubtedly one of the best witnesses yesterday.
Stephen Miller shone brightly calling out the utter bankruptcy of the hateful left.
Stephen Miller has the most powerful response to the left and leftist commies that we should all use. It is very succinct, hard-hitting and can be said and you walk away. to a leftist you tell them “you are nothing”
We slightly disagree Ct in that we should never tell a person that they are nothing…….but to tell them they have nothing seems more correct. He spoke specifically about the forces of evil.
We hate the sin not the sinner is more my way of looking at it. I will have to try and locate and review Miller’s speech again to see if he differentiated in this manner or not.
We agree that Stephen is a force, a powerful speaker.
They choose their nothingness. They willingly detach from Christ; nothingness results.
Sounds like something Charlie would say !
God Bless you !
Well, “hate the sinner, not the sin” is a Hindu saying, a statement uttered by Mohandas (Mahatma) Gandhi
Quote: “Hate the sin, and not the sinner”Mohandas Gandhi (1869-1948):An Autobiography: The Story of My Experiment with Truth, 4.9 (1929) tr. Mahadev Desai 1940.
Quote found in the Random House Webster’s
Quotationary (ISBN#0679448500) By L.C. Frank
The variation that Christians often proclaim:
“Hate the sin, but love the sinner.” This is not
a biblical truth, but a Hindu philosophy.
Christ came to save the sinner, (said in many ways and many verses).
Christ detested sin.
There is not a literal direct quote verse quite possibly because it is the theme of the New Testament.
The Bible is loaded from one end to the other with examples of how we need to hate sin and to love everyone, including the sinner.
After saving the adultress from the stoners: “Your sins are forgiven. Now go, and sin no more.”
Jesus would not have confronted the stoners if he did not love the woman.
I had the good fortune of being in the stadium with the crowd yesterday. Secretary Rubio’s speech moved the audience of believers in a remarkable manner.
As did so many others. I was deeply moved by the constant testimonies from some of the most powerful and articulate men and women on earth of their love and admiration for Charlie, and their adoration for God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
It’s a side we don’t often see that was revealing and encouraging.
I was probably most surprised by Secretary Kennedy who also gave a great speech and expression of faith. I didn’t know this about him.
I have more reason for confidence in the future generations of the US than I’ve had maybe forever.
I have deep admiration for President Trump putting together such an incredibly talented, focused and faith-filled cabinet for our country.
I can’t imagine how amazing it would have been to actually be there. What a memory.
I’m sure that many times you just choked up from the sheer power of it all.
DD
Tears flowed freely all around.
You could since the Holy Spirit while in the long lines waiting to get in and talking with all the folks around you. And doubly so when you finally made it inside the building. (We left our place at 4am, made it into the arena right at 9am.)
The sense of unity was as strong as anything I’ve ever experienced.
As many said from the podium, “they didn’t know it but by sacrificing Charlie they have released thousands upon thousands of Charlie Kirk’s.”
Thank you for letting us know how wonderful it was to actually be in the crowd yesterday, Tim.
A great cloud of witnesses.
Hebrews 12:1&2,
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”
Love this Bible message! But then, the Bible is full of wisdom like this.
I remember almost 5 years ago when I first decided to try and read the entire Bible. (I was raised Catholic, so I certainly had read and/or been taught many parts of it.)
When I got to the end, I just sat there with my Bible on my lap and thought, “Wow, what a Good Book!”
Very nice part of your walk with the Lord to share with us.
Thank you.
I would love to see Marco/Tulsi 2028
thanks for breaking the thread
Why the snark?
Sorry if I offended you.
unbroken!
Thank you!
You’re welcome.
But I’m leaning Tulsi/Marco!
After PDT’s next term, of course.
I like the way you think, DJT 2028!!!
The splodey heads would be glorious 🙂
Hadn’t considered Tulsi/Marco, hmmm, very interesting 👍
The Constitution says the winner gets to be president–and he won three times.
Yes he did!
LOL! Freaking out the Marxists with that kind of talk.
I agree, I listened to Tulsi the other night (can’t remember what it was) but when she talked about Aloha was interesting. I never knew it was spiritual.
Rubio has developed his tone. He is a very good speaker.
I believe Tulsi and Rubio are doing very well with their tasks at hand. It will be interesting how JD can break out. I don’t think he’s doing a bad job, he just doesn’t have a “thing”, if he does I don’t know what it is.
His 2028 backers probably see the need. I expect him to be assigned to mid-term campaigning, he needs to develop his style of speech that can rival Rubio.
I hope the 2028 Presidential primaries don’t become a $&it show. I think JD, Tulsi and Rubio can help keep the ball rolling, but only one can be the next President.
Well said!
“I believe Tulsi and Rubio are doing very well with their tasks at hand.”
That would be my concern with Tulsi, she may be too valuable in her current position to remove her.
“but only one can be the next President.”
I don’t know about that, the previous administration set the precedent for having multiple people filling the role 😳😂
Good point , is Marco as Secretary of State also too important in that position ?
( nice joke at the end there! )
Absolutely he is!
I was just thinking that if Tulsi is able to continue her, albeit slow, success penetrating silos that it might be better to not roll the dice on someone new in that position.
But, Lord willing, hopefully in the next 3 years she will be able to say job done 🙏
Thanks for the compliment on my attempt at a little humor about a topic that is sadly true.
Cheers!
Tulsi had a great eulogy, too. All speakers had good presentations. It’s just some were far greater than others as they touch the depths of our faith.
Re “I would love to see Marco/Tulsi 2028”
My admiration for the great job both Rubio and Gabbard are currently doing notwithstanding, neither one is a natural born citizen. Therefore, both are Constitutionally eligible to legally serve as president or vice president. And, no… Obama’s usurpation of the office of president did not invalidate the Constitution’s presidential requirements any more than OJ getting away with murder nullified laws against his crime.
I think Trump liberated Rubio from the senate. I too am impressed by his role as Secretary of State. I also hope his four children stay grounded with their values.
Of particular interest is his net worth ($1-1.5 Million) has not increased disproportionately during his time in congress– maybe we got a keeper.
i know this is not the place for it, but until Marco bears witness to who and what the SSCI is – of which he was a key part and knows exactly what’s going on there – i will never trust him.
He already did. Perhaps you missed it. Google: “Rubio says Ukraine is a proxy war between the U.S. and Russia.”
uhh… okay…
so thats the entirety of the SSCI’s role in warping american politics and the three branches of power?
this blog is most powerful when it discusses the fourth, unaccountable branch of the deep state and intel. SSCI is at its heart. ukraine is but a single manifestation of its evil, lies, and influence that has effectively overruled the executive branch, and repeatedly enabled intel to operate without any oversight and against american interests. there are people he served alongside, was present and WATCHED while they broke the law and committed sedition. NAME NAMES.
2 people I wouldn’t want to pick an intellectual sparing session with : Charlie and Sundance .
I believe the point is we have seen enough of Marco Rubio now publicly to trust him , and to trust him privately behind closed doors .
100%
Exactly.
That’s a Declaration of Independence.
As is his confession of faith.
❣️
I will take ” Jesus Christ is my personal savior ”
Over any other opinion, ,
personal quality , or stance on an issue that a person has .
The events of the last 9 years have done nothing but further instill and refine in my own life that not only is God real but that Jesus is your singular path to heaven and we are called to repent and walk in the light.
The impact of Mr Kirk on this nation was laid bare during the memorial yesterday and showed a young man who has already had a profound impact on the world. The reverberations and revival brought on by his martyrdom will be profound.
The fact that God gave Charlie a wife as grounded in faith, blessed with a powerful voice, and wrapped in beauty and light is remarkable.
I openly sobbed when she forgave the assassin. That declaration of the most difficult command of Jesus (and embodiment thereof) filled my heart with glee, sadness, empathy and the Holy Spirit.
The armor of God is now all around us. Stand tall and strength your faith!
Amen
Mrs Kirk’s forgiveness was a powerful message to this country to come together and heal.
Yesterday was an amazing experience. I was surprised, then proud and encouraged by Marco Rubio. Short and sweet – the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
My favorite part of yesterday’s service, was watching our “Leaders” file in while beautiful praise and worship was going on. They had to have felt the Holy Spirit.
I will probably ignore Social Media for awhile because the haters will be piling on, and the conspiracy theorists will be raging about this person or that person, and the pious Christians will be picking apart everyone’s theology. I want to keep the memory of the service unblemished.
Retired Magistrate here: Marco Rubio has truly been transformed. GOD is using him in a powerful way.
I think he’s going to be the next president..
Why’s Bibi in this post?
And God bless Marco Rubio. Bibi too, of course
Read again the last section about the transformation of Saul and then think of the picture that follows as a parable to the story.
I have paid close attention to Bibi over the many years. Every once in a while I have an odd thought: could he be a Messianic Jew? I have nothing to really substantiate that thought other than to say it’s comes to my mind.
Same.
I get that sense too because he is so supportive of Christians
Benjamin Netanyahu, in Hebrew, means, Son of the Right Hand, Given us (by) YHWH.
One bullet missed the full impact of its mark by a millimetre or two…
Another destroyed a life and a family and brought us yesterday to the most remarkable scenes I’ve ever witnessed in my lifetime, surely a true turning point, please God.
But for both, we would not in the first instance have Secretary Rubio…nor with the second and its unbearable accuracy, continue to witness what I have always wondered is not his Damascene conversion.
Who knows the mysterious workings of the Lord our God? Or whose shoulder He will touch and work through..
Many thoughts for me this morning which I am having difficulty translating into words. Much to contemplate.
But this I know with increasing assurance…
Our Father is where He has always been, which He is showing us every single day 🙏🏻
Blessings to everyone 🙏🏻
It almost seems as if the DemonCrats are just no longer relevant – they’ve become a mere annoyance – the yapping little dog you just ignore and walk away from.
Yesterday’s service put it all in perspective, I think, for millions.
A yapping dog with rabies. Still dangerous, especially now that it’s cornered, but if we’re careful we can remove its threat without further harm to others.
Yes. The most activity from the Dems right now is a new book from the lesbian head of the teacher’s union, endorsed by Hillard Clinton and rattling on about “fascism.” The shallowness is breathtaking in the wake of this past fortnight.
Amen, dear Bet! Our Heavenly Father reigns supreme over all of it. 🙌🏻❤️
He does, my dear brother…and AMEN to that! 🙏🏻
🙏💕
Mindful of his past I have been very skeptical of Marco Rubio but he is really stepping up these days .
Thanks to GOD For giving him the courage and wisdom to do so.
I hope other squished Republican and Democrats will be inspired by his example.
Thanks Marco.
Your courage and willingness to fight the good fight in that cesspool that is Washington DC is greatly appreciated by this Treeper.
I am beyond thrilled to hear top members of our government share the gospel.

Do the letters on the sleeve buttons of Mrs. Kirk’s jacket mean something?
The bit of green on her belt and bracelet may represent hope ?

Don’t quote me, maybe my eyes are not seeing that blurry closeup right, but this could be it.
Thank you for that . I have in the past prayed for your nation also. I will continue .God Bless You and your fight against evil.
What a miracle this all is . It’s like we are living God making something good out of something bad .
Would I be correct in seeing the image with Trump, Rubio and Bibi as a message saying that Rubio has turned away from the APAC lobby supporting Rinos and to the MAGA movement.
Had no idea how remarkably intelligent and articulate Marco Rubio is. He has so much more substance and depth than Vance.
In my opinion Rubio is much more seasoned and politically wise than Vance.
Trial by fire makes one a much stronger person.
Unlike Rubio Vance has obviously been coddled by forces who’s interest are not necessarily aligned with the interests of the good people of the USA.
That handling makes for a much more shallow individual.
The fact that, as of yet ,Vance apparently does not see how controlled and molded he is at this time makes that case.
I am struck that when I heard Rubio’s religious references I was very receptive to him.
In contrast to the other day when Vance was saying how he has said he spoke about Christ more lately then he has ever recalled done so in the past.
Vance seems much less sincere than Rubio.
Pray that Vance, as a (former? current?) Palantir insider, becomes the greatest champion for the 4th Amendment that this nation has ever known. May the Lord guide whether that is as president or not.
JD was created by tech handlers as explained in a Sundance article. It is what it is. Not to say he doesn’t have his good points, but…
Marco has evolved through a path (FL politics, US Senate, SSIC, SOS) that has included faith, but he didn’t wear his faith on his sleeve, until today. He obviously has very deep faith. He preached a sermon. He could have been in a pulpit.
Unfortunately for JD Vance you cannot package genuineness and authenticity-he lacks both IMO. He always seems scripted and slightly used car salesman-ish.
Can’t disagree with you.
This is a nuance. In observing the character difference between Rubio and Vance, it was intersting to me to notice that after Rubio ended his remoarks, he walked directly off the stage. Vance stayed on the stage and waved to the audience after his remarks.
If it were me, having given a eulogy before, the walking off the stage directly is more appropriate. It makes the focus of the service where it should be, on the deceased rather than the speaker.
I think that also may be in line with how a Secretary and a Vice President conduct themselves. I see your point though . It is not your usual service. This was truly a celebration of life !
Somewhere on this thread I wrote practically the same thing. I had a few other red flags. I see JD’s good, but there are some flags.
I think Vance is in ‘performance mode’ alot. When you look at his ascendency to VP, it was so quick. He wants to ‘appear’ vice presidential which holds him back a bit from just getting away from the Ivy League tone and letting his heart speak.
He should watch Rubio’s dedication eulogy over and over.
A good way of describing him as that’s how he presents himself. Good suggestion, although I don’t think he can pull it off as he’s on a scripted pathway per his tech handlers.
Charles Schulz must have found The Story of Saint Stephen very powerful also.
For in one of his funniest, yet poignant, Peanuts cartoons, he shows Charlie Brown and Linus lying on their backs and imagining what kind of shapes they see in the clouds.
Linus says (something similar to): “I can see the stoning of Saint Stephen: the future apostle Paul is standing off to one side. What do you see, Charlie Brown?”
Charlie Brown says: “Well, I was about to say that I saw a ducky and a horsey, but I just changed my mind.”
Yes, the murder of Charlie Kirk – if it was not paid for – was certainly catalyzed by our present-day Pharisees, the Communists throughout government and society, preaching the Gospels of Marx, Lenin, Mao, and Hitler, and I include the latter with those Unholy Three because a good amount of Nazism can be found in the actions of our Communists.
Always recall that Hitler and Stalin were allies, before they were enemies. Their versions of Totalitarianism were quite similar: the only difference was in the man at the top.
Whether the murder of Charlie Kirk will catalyze a positive reaction of eliminating Communism from America remains to be seen: early signs are encouraging!
“Always recall that Hitler and Stalin were allies, before they were enemies. Their versions of Totalitarianism were quite similar: the only difference was in the man at the top.”
National Socialism (Naziism) vs International Socialism (Bolshevism): adjoining neighborhoods in Hell
Amen!
In fact, Stalin became ever more similar to Hitler, in that he was persecuting and killing ever more Jews in the last years of his reign, as if he wanted to finish what Hitler had started.
” (Author Louis Rapoport’s)… thesis is that Stalin was a paranoid antisemite, whose anti-Jewish hatred was planted in a Georgian seminary and nourished in the history of the Bolshevik movement, particularly in his struggle with Trotsky, developed during the Great Purge of the 1930s, and became dominant in the period from 1948 to 1953.“

He and Tulsi were excellent.
Unfortunately, imo, PDJT’s remarks changed the spirit felt throughout the event. He really didn’t have to speak at all, or if so, merely join Mrs. Kirk on stage at the very end to hold her up would have been sufficient.
I was surprised they did not end with music, bringing the key TP people and worship team back up for all to sing together. For what had been an amazing event, it ended kind of disjointed.
I have supported Pres Trump 100 percent cent but I was disappointed. After the widow forgave the shooter a healing should have begun. Did not like hearing the word hate.
I have accepted DJT and his flaws 100%. But it is too bad he misses opportunities to overcome the flaws.
Many people, me included, have pondered the remarkable transition of Marco Rubio. – Sundance
I’m one of those “many people” !!! As much as I like JD Vance at least Rubio doesn’t have any billionaire’s talons in him that I’m aware of. The Republican nomination for President in 2028 will be about who can best carry on the MAGA mantle of President Trump? Interesting, dangerous days ahead!!!
Damn….. First thing in the morning, first cup of coffee. Watching the bright red sunrise over North Texas on a rainy morning. Then I listen to that….
It’s going to be a great day.
That was not a speech.
It was a soul-searching sermon.
Yes! For Marco to preach that sermon reveals his deep, personal relationship with God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. He preached about the Trinity. All he needed was a pulpit!!
Other people I know spoke of their surprise at Rubio’s change from his presidential campaign run until now. I’d never guessed we would be seeing the Rubio we see. But I’m very glad to see it!
I was stunned Marco Rubio actually preached the gospel of Jesus. Whoever heard of a Secretary of State standup before millions and with such boldness to declare the Man Christ Jesus as Lord over all, the Saviour of man.
I said the same thing last night to a friend – that having the Secretary of State actually preach the Gospel would drive the left totally insane. TBH, it really was kind of crossing the traditional church/state separation, but arguably Rubio was there in his private capacity, and so had his 1st-Amendment rights.
It blew my mind. He was really, really good. If that was all teleprompter, he was hella smooth.
What a witness to the world. Marco just scored major points with evangelicals. Because his words were the quintessence of the evangelical public declaration of faith.
Marco Rubio gave
his
testament.
Watched most of the day. The worship team was made up of some very gifted song writers, musicians, & singers. There is an anointing on today’s Christian music if you haven’t noticed. Hopefully, revival is being ushered in. Yes, Rubio was inspiring. Tucker did a good job as well along with Miller, Hegseth, & Tulsi. Some speakers were out of their element. No need to name them. It was obvious to believers. I believe it was Tucker that said prepare for the next thing. It is sure to come. I think the CTH family knows we’re at war spiritually. Lastly, Charlie was a modern day prophet exposing the cultural rot of our universities upon our youth. What prophets did the religious leaders (Marxist spirit) not murder?
Even Socrates was put to death for “misleading the youth.”
I really don’t understand the closing comment about the “transition” of Rubio. He is an excellent SOS, with both a poker face and faith and a sly sense of humor. His entire demeanor inspires trust. He is “a good man.” In a realm where such people are few. And, unlike other infamous Officeholders of late, he isn’t doing it to further his own ambitions. He is doing it for the Office.
He was a neocon with a seat at the table on the most corrupt, deep-stateiest committee in congress, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence. He was right there with Ted Cruz as the least trust-worthy candidate for president in 2016.
That Charlie is gone is a BIG gap, hole.
I heard a message and sermon yesterday for the 1st time in 10Y that MOVED ME.
IT WAS: THE church has to stop being SILENT. We’ve been silent and THE world hasn’t. THE result=Charlie Kirk’s death.
Charlie’s youth and ability to connect with youth, young men, women and those that were so confused of their genders, their bodies, their minds. He was gentle but he did not back down on the TRUTH.
I’m numb to the past 10 days and how BIG a loss we have. Don’t think the left isn’t celebrating Charlie being gone.
BUT, at my church yesterday, I discovered fellow servants of God READY and WILLING to move and have courage and say, we aren’t being silent any longer.
Sadly, absent Charlie’s death, we don’t hear that message or not in the form it was given.
His death won’t be in vain as a result. We have discovered courage, and we will do in his name and in his honor.
The tree of liberty is watered by the blood of patriots; the tree of Christianity is watered by the blood of martyrs.
Dang SD! Simply amazing this Rubio who spoke. I watch these things with a bit of cynicism. I saw nothing that raised a red flag. Seemed very authentic and real. Praise God!
Marco Rub io has truly become PDJT’s best and brightest administrative picks. I look forward to him running for President. And he has a great sense of humor which attracts people to him.
I saw it many years ago, then he seemed to turn towards the deep state. Maybe he just needed his moment to shine and with God’s power, he is doing it.
He had too uch favor and power thrust on him too young. He didn’t have time AND proper mentorship to grow into those roles bit by bit, maturing as he went.
He was set up in 2016 (as I believe he was in 2010, as a “TP” candidate), and then thrown into the lion’s den of the Senate without enough preparation. The “Big Time”. They ate him alive.
He has grown & flourished under P. Trump. It’s been good for him. I think he truly appreciates it, and is loyal to P. Trump.
Let’s ALL pray that God works mightily in him in he next few years.
Thank you Marco, that was a powerful memorial to Charlie and to Jesus Christ our Savior.
Thank you for this article on Rubio. I teach a lesson for a children’s service that is inside our church’s worship service. I recently taught Stephen’s story and the next Sunday taught Saul’s story. It is a powerful story! I will never look at Rubio without thinking about it.
The difference between Marco’s eulogy and JD’s:
Marco pointed to Christ. He gave the glory to God in Charlie’s walk.
JD pointed to now talking about his faith a lot since Charlie’s death. Watch the last 15 seconds of JD as he exited the stage. He was waving, even stopping to wave more. It was more of a political stump for him; to connect with TPUSAers. He did give a eulogy for Charlie, but the underlying focus was on himself.
Marco is walking the same path as Charlie did: focusing on God’s Word, giving the glory to God; yet at the same time, in his job, he fearlessly speaks truth in the face of lies presented.
I pray that God greatly use Marco via his faith and focus on changing the face of politics to save our nation, same as he did Charlie.
Yours are astute observations. I have narrowed my choices for 2028, even though I don’t really want to think about it right now.
Same for me. A lot can happen over 3 years.
At the end of JD’s speech, the thought came to mind that it sounded like a campaign speech.
The clinch, for me, was his stage exit – waving and stopping to wave more. Although President Trump stopped to wave again after Erika left the stage, he is not running again. He was giving his support to these people, telling them, I’m for you, I support you, I grieve with you. JD’s exit revealed something else.
And why was Susie wiles speaking?
Agree, what’s the answer?
We are NEVER going to like, support or defend regardless of how many times she marches out there.
For me, she was the voice of the 2024 campaign. She unequivocally knew the impact Charlie Kirk/TPUSA had on winning the 7 swing states, and she firmly gave him credit. PDJT gave credit, but not in the same way, as I believe he doesn’t want to totally credit CK because, in doing so, he discredits to some degree the other people, particularly influential podcasters, who also brought in votes. That’s why she was there, to give full credit where he couldn’t.
When I saw the miracle of President Trump surviving that bullet in Butler I knew there would have to be certain people who would also find a calling from God to help in in this second term. I believe Rubio and Tulsi are two such people. People who have been converted by God for this mission. Hopefully there are many more for the road ahead is very dangerous and filled with enemies.
Yes, Rubio did a remarkable job.
It wasn’t rambling.
His comments were well thought out, well-formed, and strung together in an orderly, purposeful manner.
More importantly, the comments were effective.
I was very impressed and moved.
Sitting near my wife, I watched Marco Rubio on TV during his remarks at the Charlie Kirk “Revival” and I talked about Rubio’s great words and how far he has come. Marco Rubio has really become a fine example of a great American. I have gained tremendous respect for him. I agree he spoke in that special event with the power of the Holy Spirit.
All Glory to God!
Blessings to All!
Thank you, Sundance for the inspiration!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
OMG I am tears!! To see such a powerful, open and bold declaration of the gospel by a politician to a world audience!! Thank you Jesus.
Sundance, thank you for highlighting this speech. I had slept through the middle part of the memorial, only awakening toward the end of J.D. Vance’s eulogy of Charlie Kirk.
And, yes, Marco Rubio is an excellent and and increasingly believable orator, remarkable for someone who most here had pegged as a leading RINO in the past.
Rather than be critical of his past, I could look in the mirror and admit that President Trump’s example has given me wings as well.
I would like to point out a couple notes about Erika Kirk’s eulogy for her husband.
She stated that he kept a journal and also made sure to give her a love note each Saturday.
Amazingly, she offered forgiveness for Charlie’s assassin.
I wish I had been a better husband the first time around and am aware of several ways in which I failed. I pray that my daughter reverses course, and comes to realize that life will be less fulsome without embarking on motherhood.
Stephen was also the first domino in the cascade that eventually rolled the Roman empire.
I pray that this is also the ending of Marxist/Communist governments the world over!
Pastor preached on this yesterday. We HAVE to continue the crusade in Charlie’s honor. It’s on us in our communities, churches, schools.
Winter is around the corner here in NH, I have a list a mile long of chores to get done before snow flies.
For very practical reasons, I hadn’t planned on tuning into Charlie’s Memorial “Event” because I figured I’d watch it all online later in the night.
I wound up tuning in to see if that stadium did in fact get filled- well then lemme tell ya, I was hooked and spent the rest of the day glued to the screen and boy am I glad I did- the wood can get stacked next weekend.
In a lifetime of watching politics, the vicious fights that take place in NH during our Primary season- which never ends, watching soooo much, with all that in my background, I’ve never seen an event so impressive as Charlie’s Memorial was.
That they put something together like this in such short time- so massive- on such short notice, that in and of itself if mind boggling. If Erika Kirk wasn’t about to change the world through TPUSA, I’d dare say she’s got a brilliant future as an Event Planner !!
The speeches were ALL human, they were genuine and sincere, they felt largely ‘unscripted’, many were nicely longish and yet it appeared they just flowed out of these people like they were speaking right from their hearts.
They struck the right balance of painful loss and yet a vision for a better future that we’d now go build using Charlie’s work and death as a Turning Point because the need to do this is dire now.
Yes, Marco’s speech was wonderful, but they all were.
If I had to pick a winner, I’d go with the great Stephen Miller who of course, knocked it out of the park.
I feel like our jobs now are to encourage anyone and everyone we encounter to go watch Charlie’s Memorial service to learn how to be a part of our Revival.
As a side note: I happened to notice that there was very little traffic in town yesterday which was very unusual, I’m wondering if it was because that many people were home to watch this service?
I happened to catch a few memes that were showing the amounts of people watching was in the millions.
I don’t know if that is right but to look at the lack of traffic around, maybe its true?
Beautiful summary !!!
Watched Stephen Miller’s speech again just now on YouTube. The comments reminded me of the vitriol by Reddit users. Might as well have been on Bluesky. Thus why I deleted the Reddit app.
I’m amazed at Rubio’s accomplishments and his dedication. He seems to be out from under the deep state’s grip. I hope my instincts are correct.
DemonRats are worried that ‘Christians are galvanizing’…..they say that’s very worrisome.
History always repeats
The Demonrats have no life. They just live to manipulate and control others.
