This afternoon, Utah prosecutors held a press conference saying they will seek the death penalty for Tyler Robinson, the suspect in conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination. Because they crave love and acceptance and a sense of belonging, they are easily manipulated by others. They have no people skills and are unable to discern when they are being used or lied to. Besides, knowing would make them feel alone again and they may overlook any signs that the other person is insincere. Too devastating.
Book smart, common sense stupid. They thought they could delete online messages and nobody would ever know about them. The shooter actually thought he was going to get away with the crime if only he could retrieve the rifle, not even realizing that the surveillance footage captured such good images of him that his parents instantly recognized him.

This looks to be a preplanned exchange to throw the investigators off the trail of the rest of the co-conspirators. It would be very easy to do, prepare two ‘worksheets’ (one for each of them) with all of the responses, then start sending them in order and wait just enough between each one to ‘sell it’ that it was authentic in real-time.

As for your question, I think several reasons have been mentioned, but I just keep coming back to the structure of these texts that read like a verbal conversation. Having a daughter about the same age, there is no one in that age group that texts like this. It certainly reads like a cover to me.
If so, it’s only a cover for the roommate, not for the [alleged] shooter.
For the roommate and potentially his group of friends and any other group he might have engaged with regarding Kirk.

That’s the sort of things I keep asking. I’m still not clear if what we saw was an entrance wound or an exit wound. A .30-06 round is a devastating round.
My Marine buddy says you can tell that the shot was to the chest, can see the shirt ripple as the shot hits the shirt, with a bullet proof vest underneath. The damage to the neck is from a spall from the projectile. My buddy says they saw that often in combat.

It looks like Charlie Kirk was wearing an earpiece inside and around the back of his RIGHT ear.
The wire from the earpiece went from behind his right ear along the back of his neck toward his left shoulder and then went down into his shirt on the left at the base of his neck.
From there the wire may have gone down into the little transmitter box possibly in his pants pocket.
When he jerks his head and neck toward the left and forward, the earpiece came out of his ear and the movement looks to have pulled the wire under his shirt in the front causing his shirt to ripple up and out from his chest.
The earpiece and transmitter devices are used so any on-air or on-stage talent can hear cues from the director or stage manager.
Since there were thousands of people in the audience, surely at least a few hundred were recording with their phones.

I think it is to make authorities think none of his friends or his boyfriend knew what he was going to do so they won’t be charged as accomplices. Also, it would throw them off the trail that this was a conspiracy, that some larger entity was behind this. For example, Soros. That’s how it came off to me. Totally scripted.

I have no inside information. I only know that the father of the shooter had his Priest approach law enforcement to arrange the surrender. A Priest can’t be forced to tell. Most murders are not conspiracies. And yes, there are a lot of stupid individual criminals who leave a massive trail of evidence behind. If Robinson was working with others, it won’t come out as vague innuendo by Dan Bongin or Ca$h on Fox. Based on Robinson’s existing pattern, he made little to no effort to conceal or hide his message traffic (OPSEC), which will make any conspiracy easy to uncover.

There are a lot of … in between the parts of the conversation shared so there may be at lot more to it but they just pulled the most relevant stuff for the charging documents which is why the conversation seems so straight forward. It remains to be seen.

The weapon itself? Fingerprints and DNA, and family can confirm it was the grandfather’s rifle…something Robinson independently confirms in text messages to his gay boyfriend. Plus the statements of the parents, and the law enforcement officer who helped Robinson turn himself in peacefully. Plus statements of the parents indicating he had been radicalized and heated arguments just recently with the family about CK. Plus the Discord posts. Plus the independent confirmation of those text messages (about the bullet engravings, the weapon, where it was hidden, how it was hidden, etc.)
Nobody seen with him. Nobody dropped him off. Nobody picked him up. And thus far, nobody seems to have had forewarning. That might change, but more likely he dropped hints and was ignored. There’s zero similarity to the J6 pipe bomber, SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE the pipe bomber is weirdly not tracked from A to B to C by the 10,000 cameras all around DC. The one camera that briefly captured him wasn’t pointed directly at the pipe bomb location. Almost like they didn’t realize they had missed a camera.

I tend to agree. None of this stuff feels familiar or right. I have not been a follower of Kirk mostly because I saw him as entertainment. His public content was everything I already agreed with. I’m no Charlie Kirk, but in this, I agree so deeply that it is wrong when you are not allowed to examine certain things and that any attempt is to be punished. And he was complaining of heavy pushback from ‘the Israel lobby’ And the timing of Kirk’s refusal to comply after a very specific non-public “Turning Point” event seems to coincide in terms of timing with the beginning of messages and September 10th and Charlie Kirk.
I don’t believe anything. It’s all weird and doesn’t feel like anything natural. It all needs to be questioned and especially that which is forbidden. Lines were crossed. Who crossed them? This ‘lone gunman’ narrative is truly impossible to believe this time especially.

What is so hard to believe about what the prosecutor said? He has video, a timeline, the murder weapon, ballistics, DNA, text messages, Discord messages, statements from the mother, the father, and the law enforcement officer who helped Robinson turn himself in. The gay boyfriend turned Robinson in, and handed over the text messages. Messages that independently confirm details of the weapon, the bullets, and the inscriptions.

Because investigators NEVER reveal all that they know. They do this because they need to keep some things quiet that only the killer would know. The idiot that leaked that report, and the idiots at Louder with Crowder could have jeopardized critical evidence.
When/if they release the ballistics, it’ll confirm the rifle recovered was the rifle used which matches texts allegedly sent by Robinson, and statements by the father about the gun.
I guarantee you when those ballistic results do get released, at least one person will claim it wasn’t a legitimate analysis, and that the gun could just be a clever replica of the grandfather’s weapon because they heard a guy on YouTube say the audio recording of the gunshot isn’t a .30-06.

I have seen some powerful evidence that seriously questions whether FBI really has the assassin in their custody. Questions as to why no video of suspect carrying rifle to roof, no clear video of him carrying rifle off of roof and then into woods, and why did bullet apparently hit Kirk simultaneous with crack o f rifle if fired from 200 yds with 30 06?
I do have doubts that this story from FBI is accurate. Why also was crime scene not secured immediately after crime?

The comments here are frightening. So much evidence was revealed in the press conference and yet I see comments saying “I don’t believe it”. The guy confessed to his parents and at least one friend. His DNA is on the rifle and other objects. He admitted to engraving things on the bullets and there are engravings on the bullets. He drove his own car, he and his car are on video. His parents recognized him from the photos and videos Kash Patel ordered to be released to the media. etc etc And yet people just don’t want to apply Occam’s Razor and take the evidence at face value, they want a conspiracy. What I mean is I have processed all the information I’ve seen leading up to this press conference and the overall picture and it all adds up to me.
People suffer from confirmation bias. They WANT there to be a grand conspiracy, and any answer that does not give them what they want will be called lies or a cover up. All good crackpot theories rely on the argument that lack of proof simply proves how deep the conspiracy goes. I’m still waiting to hear more about that rando airplane that disappeared from radar or turned off its transponder just long enough to land at a super secret runway and pick up the real Deep State hit squad.
It’s hard to blame them. The FBI did drive the Texas mass shooter – who was a CHS – to the scene of the shootings. Sundance has documented this extensively. So I get the paranoia.
But at some point paranoia must bend to reality. Like a lot of stupid would-be master assassins who watch too many movies, he left a blizzard of evidence behind him as if we live in 1977 and not 2025 where we’re spied on 24/7 by the government, our neighbors, ISPs, and social media companies. Bill, all media, and most commenters here, seem to assume that there has been a ballistic match to that rifle. Not seen that evidence any where.
Agree. No ballistics, bullet, or autopsy. See attached link to video for very good analysis from Outside the Overton, basically showing the bullet trajectory shows the kid was not the shooter. Fair warning, the author does his best to limit the scenes showing entry and exit wounds, but it is still graphic.
He said there are some things they are keeping from the public to go in the trial to have a fair jury. Let’s wait for the trial, or after the trail to see all the evidence.

This guy is asking questions having clearly not looked at the facts. bolt action rifle doesn’t eject the cartridge without the user ejecting it. That said, if it’s a different shooter, we have no idea.
But one fact that I wish I had noticed from the start. The “click” of the gun shot was quite simultaneous with impact. I had assumed the click was impact on armor but people dispute the armor theory. So we’re left with either the sound is faster than the speed of sound or the shot was from much closer than reported.
Part of me hopes the guy is executed for his participation just as the OTHERS in this case.
But I’m hoping Kash is paying attention to external commentary and asking the questions to decide if it’s relevant or not. He should know by now not to trust his own people to give him accurate information so he needs to get them to SIGN THEIR NAMES to what they report to him so he can fire them with cause and potentially even connect THEM to the crime by covering or manipulating evidentiary data.

IMO Robinson is the third decoy. There is no video of him WITH the weapon–why? Did he hide it in the woods before he got on the roof? If so, someone else fired the shot. There are credible videos showing that the shot came from behind Charlie and to his right…through base of skull and out front left of neck. My theory: Robinson will walk on all murder charges for lack of evidence. Where is the bullet that needs to be used to match Charlie’s 30-06? Where is the video of him with the rifle on the roof? Where are the eye witnesses that saw him with the rifle, on the roof, and taking the shot? None exist. Charlie was a decoy to distract everyone while the real shooter and his gun (probably a different caliber than 30-06 to ensure Charlie is cleared). Charlie merely played the role on the roof with the black hoodie (but no gun). Why would he do that? Same reason he would shoot him, except he gets to walk on the serious charges. In killing Charlie Kirk, Tyler Robinson had the back of hundreds of thousands if not millions of left-wing Democrats who want to see the MAGA movement utterly and completely destroyed. My guess is the roommate wrote the entire conversation so he would not be implicated. Was it actually texted from the suspects phone (and was his phone on him when he was arrested) or a messaging app? Because the roommate likely had all of his passwords. Even some of the roommates family states he was evil and did not want him around their immediate family. This is more likely the instigator. Someone should make sure the suspect is aware that the roommate (the person who likely feigned distress about Charlie’s Christian beliefs) through him to the wolves in order to protect themselves. Show him the text messages. I doubt he has seen them. It might encourage him to talk knowing the person he cared enough about to kill for, does not care about him in the least. My guess is he is also a victim in this scenario used and manipulated by demonic “friends”. So good looking and genius level IQ. His parents must be devastated. And he is completely alone in this. Obama emerged from his viper’s nest this week to speak about Charlie. What he said is important and shows what they have planned. They ALWAYS tell you what they did – they can’t help themselves.

That tells me everything I need to know!

Of course there are other explanations. Number one for me is they just didn’t care. Number two is they cared but utterly incompetent. Sundance has also said that these people just don’t want to know stuff so they can plausibly deny. Proactive? Come on! They also won’t spend more money on people they could care less about. Lastly, sheer contempt for police/security and what they do causes many to just turn their heads, close their ears, and tune in to ABCNNBCBS to see what happens.

These guys were young and stupid, or at least Tyler was. He thought he could delete messages. He thought he would get away with the crime if only he retrieved the rifle, not even realizing that he was on multiple surveillance videos. Tyler drove his own car and used his own rifle to commit the murder (reminds me so much of Bryan Kohberger). AND we haven’t event seen the cell phone data yet, I’ll bet he had his phone with him too and it will track to the exact locations where surveillance placed him.
