♦ Five days ago, President Trump reduced the 50-day ultimatum to 10-12 days for Russia to stop bombing Ukraine and come to the negotiation table.
♦ Four days ago, Dmitry Medvedev (July 28) issued a statement that Trump’s “ultimatum game” with Moscow amounts to a threat to Russia and pushes the United States itself closer to war. “Each new ultimatum is a threat and a step towards war,” said Medvedev, currently deputy chair of Russia’s Security Council. “Not between Russia and Ukraine, but with his own country.”
♦ President Trump responded today – “Based on the highly provocative statements of the Former President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, who is now the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, I have ordered two Nuclear Submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that. Words are very important, and can often lead to unintended consequences, I hope this will not be one of those instances. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
“In order to approach the issue peacefully, it is necessary to conduct detailed conversations. And not in public, but this must be done calmly, in the quiet of the negotiation process.” ~ Vladimir Putin

Clandestine has observed in a brief email today:
“It’s starting to look like Trump is about to make his move to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Trump gave a deadline, and is now starting to apply pressure.
No idea what the play is, all I know is Trump has to end this war, while not appearing to be allies with Putin. Optics play a very important role in all this.
It’s also not a coincidence that Trump is starting to make his move AFTER the public have been shown Russiagate was a hoax. The end of this war is going to be favorable to Russia, Ukraine WILL have to give up lost territory, and Trump has to bring a resolution without making it seem like he gave Putin a sweetheart deal.
My guess is, we are about to see a whole lot of political theater, and probably a lot of panic from the usual suspects.
In conclusion, trust Trump. We just watched him thread the needle in Iran, I trust him to manage this situation as well.”
ref. https://bioclandestine.substack.com/p/trump-begins-move-on-russiaukraine
There is no war between Russia and Ukraine. As Marco Rubio noted not long ago, this is a proxy war between the US and Russia. We can end it by not continuing to fight it.
Proxy Schmoxy. Ask the Ukrainians if they’re fighting for the U.S.!!
Who’s actually fighting the war?
Russia & Ukraine
Where is the physical war being fought?
Inside Ukraine and Russia
The CIA / Deep State instigated the war but they only threw gasoline on an already-festering domestic Ukrainian situation – bigoted Ukraine Azov Nazi’s harassing & occasionally killing Russian speaking residents in the eastern areas like the Donbas. Ukraine’s duly elected president was trying to have peaceful relations with Russia when U.S. warmongers via Victoria Nuland & her co-conspirators instigated the maidan in 2014 and got him tossed out and U.S. puppet Zelenskyy installed. They fully intended to start a war with Putin. Putin wanted peace and no NATO on his borders with ballistic missiles aimed into Russia cities.
This is all factual history that can be read in multiple websites on the internet but you can continue to blame President Trump as several interlopers here in CTH are doing while exposing themselves as uninformed tools.
Hear! hear! Well said GB!
Summed up in a nutshell.
What you have written is correct, but it in no way contradicts what JohnPaul wrote. The CIA/Deep State didn’t just throw gasoline and walk away, they threw gasoline and kept throwing it, even up until today. Yes, the Ukrainians and Russians are doing the fighting, but who do you think launches those missiles deep into Russian territory? It’s not the Ukrainians.
It is absolutely a proxy war between the US Deep State and NATO against Russia, and the Ukrainian and Russian soldiers are the cannon fodder. What JohnPaul posted is correct, and what you posted is correct as well.
I disagree.
John Paul wrote, “ There is no war between Russia and Ukraine.“
Proxy / cannon fodder or not, those two countries are at war.
Willingly.
We know all about the deep state and Victoria, Nuland, and what she did with her agents over there to throw gasoline on an already simmering fire.
But if Ukraine’s corrupt political and military leaders really did not want to fight that war, our deep state’s efforts would not have been successful.
Don’t let the term “proxy war” overshadow the corruption that already existed inside the Ukrainian government, and among the AZOV Nazi battalions in that country.
Ah yes, because there would be a 3-year war if the United States wasn’t proving billions of aid, training all their people, providing all the intel and planning support, and providing mercenaries to fight.
…all to try and force a NATO country on Russia’s border.
It makes sense that the Russia-Russia-Russia horse* had to be shown to be horse* first.
I hadn’t thought of that.
He didn’t thread a needle with Iran. He made a loud noise which scared the barking dogs for a few days. The barking for regime change has already started to resume, and we have a new 6-12 mo countdown to the next wave of “days away from a nuke” hysteria.
I’m willing to concede that this is theater. But the pretending about Ukraine suggests otherwise.
Oh, good grief. 🙄
All is well. We all live in a yellow submarine.
Would still like to believe that the surface bluster VS Putin is camouflaging an effort WITH Putin to money-trace just what went from the US to Ukraine since 2022. Recall the one-fingered piano player’s statement earlier this year that only a small fraction of what was _said to have gone to Ukraine actually _went to Ukraine. The graft must be on a par with the “trillions at stake” about which this sage Sundance fellow often writes. Especially with the Clinton “Trump-Russia Collusion” scheme unraveling in real time in parallel.
Regarding the 112:8 body count – isn’t it actually 112 UA dead for every 8 RU dead?
Could be wrong.
Agreed. We need cool heads to reign.
I hope so too. But shortening the deadline says something which doesn’t sound good.
Didn’t Russia just take a city they had under seige for some time?
Maybe they are done taking back the territory whose inhabitants favored Russia and what they felt they needed to protect them from NATO’s aggressive moves.
Not until they take Odessa will they have defeated Ukraine in such a way as to prevent them from harassing Russia in the future. It is Ukraine’s only seaport for transport of grain. Russia would have full control then. We are past the time when Russia can trust the US or NATO to reign in Russia’s adversaries.
Ringo!
Still, Trump should be careful with his mouth, the Ruskies know what we have and Russian will blame the US if they launch a tactical nuke. Trump should have the CIA earn their paychecks by arranging an accident for Dmitry.
I find your call re deputy chief of the Russian security council to be abhorrent.
Maybe Medev should learn to STFU.
https://m.youtube.com/shorts/yYhylaMX9qU
IDT anything comes out of Russia that isn’t pre-authorized. Just my opinion.
IMO So should Lindsey Graham!
Spoiler Alert: This is nothing new.
About 1/3rd of ALL US Navy subs – especially “boomers” – are deployed around the world, many within striking distance of Russia, 24/7/365. The other 2/3rds of them are just getting back from a deployment, or getting ready to deploy, or are in for maintenance/repair. They were not built to sit around gathering dust. And the numbers are similar for the surface fleet.
PS – The last US Navy diesel electric attack sub (SS-581 USS Blueback, built in the late 1950s) was decommissioned in Oct 1990, so for nearly 35 years, ALL US Navy subs (except a few research boats) have been and are now “nuclear” subs (nuclear powered, if not also nuclear armed).
So the headline sounds scary, but it’s just “business as usual” for the US Navy. Trump knows this and so does Putin. So this is just posturing for the media, who generally know nothing, especially about military matters.
I saw this earlier and I shrugged my shoulders.
I think too many people are making this out to be such a huge deal that it isn’t.
SHH !
DON’T TELL
“ Those Asleep “
that We’ve BEEN Sitting on the Bottom of EACH OTHER’S NAVY Harbors since the 1950s
The Russians are Coming!
“The Russians are Coming!”
“Egermency! Egermency!”
“Everyone to get from stritt !”
I loved that movie. I wonder why it is never available for viewing anywhere on any platform? I’d like to see it again.
It is, free on YouTube
And in each others shipping ports since the 80s. Everyone has nukes in shipping containers stashed all about. But yeah there’s almost always 3 or more boomers in range of Russia. Range is getting longer all the time, making it even more meaningless.
“Everyone has nukes in shipping containers stashed all about.”
You are making something up/repeating what others make up.
Not legally!
And not with the continuous presence you are implying.
Soooo…you believe/have evidence that Russian subs have transited under the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, regularly, and nested in the harbor off the sub piers at NOB?
The difference being, we know where there subs are and have hunter/killer subs close by listening for ANY sign of an attack, and they have no ide where our subs are.
So why do it? I’m getting tired of Trumps constant bluster and attention seeking, it’s getting old.
You should tire of the breathless reporting that makes you feel that way. Think for yourself.
Simply dont waste your time watching news its veery easy
If someone is here, they probably don’t watch the fake news.
unless they are a troll…..
and I will bet there are many of them
So, why did Trump do it? Think Regan and the Regan Doctrine towards Russia. Shows of strength do act as a deterrence, but this Commander in Chief is exerting his primary job: protect the American people.
Real patriotic Americans , unlike you, never back down to a threat.
Since when does the Soviet Union still exist? Reagan is gone and so is the Soviet Union. It’s not the 1980’s anymore.
And I hear the 1980’s want their Foreign Policy back! Heard it from an expert source!
Yes, it’s likely more dangerous with more nuclear powers………..
So now the claim is Russia threatened the US?
Ah, we found the troll.
Whining just to whine, and your pals upvote you.
We see you….
Carry on crying. If you understood anything, you’d know that there is always subs, positioned off the shores, both Russian, towards America, and America towards Russia.
Diplomacy whilst wielding a big stick is how this game is played, by both sides.
Cry harder….
Indeed. Those of us who served in the Nuclear Triad understand this better than anyone.
Troll is as worn out as racist. Plus it goes against the no name calling rule of our host.
People voice lots of different opinions here. If you can’t handle that just scroll by.
Zat somthen like “Agree or shut up?”
Welp at least no one is raggen on Bondi tonight!
Counterpoints are welcome. Calling someone a troll adds zero value. It’s a weak deflection.
Bob wants his echo chamber back
Thanks for your concern.
It’s a message board with a bunch of internet strangers.
No need to get your panties twisted.
Thank you friend
here is some good advice:
And now, a brief time out for a word from our sponsor……….. 🙂
Best to put me in moderation as well as I agreed with BobofThe North 100%. In fact, I’ll moderate myself for a while. Posts meant to annoy are allowed, but truth is considered attacks? Great balls of fire! This entire thread has knotted my stomach and it wasn’t BobofThe North’s post that did it. Time to go outside and enjoy my best life to get away from it. Y’all have a great day!
👍
I don’t get how a comment like this gets past the moderators. Comparing this post to others that have been banned it makes no sense .
It didn’t. Read further on….he’s been put in moderation. Next time, he’s out.
It appears you’re getting tired of the winning trend President Trump is consistently bringing, and there’s only side of the political aisle that talks about “constant bluster and attention seeking” so it makes one wonder where your true political affiliation may lie along with your true intentions.
“I’m getting tired of Trumps constant bluster and attention seeking, it’s getting old.”
Surprising that the “moderator” allowed this to post here.
Or maybe not. Allow it to post to draw the vitriol of the core CTH regulars, reinforcing the monolithic groupthink.
“Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
Please define your term. Is “monolithic groupthink” the opinion of any person you disagree with? It is obvious that Buckeye is eaten up with TDS, and ” Trumps constant bluster and attention seeking” is a phrase commonly used by DJT’s detractors. Are you part of this camp?
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/monolithic
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/groupthink
Not speaking of whether I agree with the viewpoints of any groupthink, here or elsewhere. I would offer that groupthink is what led to the worst atrocities in history, there is no advantage aside from acceptance by the group – but great hazard.
My advice: Be careful joining any “camp”. Think for yourself. Don’t be afraid to speak truth to the group.
The Treehouse is visited by many who lurk…such as the First Lady of the United States along with others in the state and national governmental realms…. Many climb up to the treehouse, to get a larger view…not everyone has that idea of monolithic groupthink…
IMHO, ‘monolithic groupthink’, for decades, is what has put our great republic in dire peril….
He didn’t do anything that isn’t always done with subs.
Medvedev threw a threat out and Trump just answered it.
Balistic missile subs (SSBN) are always within striking distance of every nuclear armed nation around the globe.
One of their favorite spots is the Arctic Ocean.
Agree, Trumps antics are getting old.
Trump 2.0 is a mixed bag.
I would prefer Vance
Trump’s “antics” have completely scuttled the trajectory that was the path of a failed Republic.
Trump’s “antics” keep enemies abroad AND HERE AT HOME off balance and insecure
We hired the right guy to do the job, if he’s earned your trust, attempts to micromanage him ruuning his playbook are ridiculous: YOU HIRED THE MASTER STRATEGIIST OF UNCONVENTIONAL THINKING
That’s for sure!
Yea or Pence right..
lost
Funny, I tend to like his constant bluster — such a refreshing change from the fake propriety and niceties of the average politician. Diplomacy/statecraft (what passes for it in the modern era) has turned into a stale, hollowed out group exercise in solipsism, communal narcissism.
Our President just goes out there and says things, as real men used to do. It’s enjoyable watching all these pretty people reacting to it.
THIS
and 43 people here up voted this. All I need to know……….
Ya got the independent thinkers, and ya got the herd
If that’s the yardstick, then ya got yourself “safely” in a majority, which is also the number of citizens who got that freakin’ clotshot
THANK GOD FOR INDEPENDENT THINKERS
“So why do it?” In this case, I think it was for three reasons:
Chasov Yar just fell in Donetsk to Russia…
It’s a big deal. NATO has been very involved with that place for years.
Pokrovsk is almost surrounded & Russian assault groups are within the city.
Seversk now appears to be slipping away also.
Trump mouthing off does little. The West needs to appeal to Zelinskyy to step down to save lives.
Lindsey Graham & many others made lots of $$$ pushing bad US policy. Time to pay the piper.
——————
PDJT is not seeking attention.
he is reminding people to Shut the ___ up and to show us respect again.
if you don’t get that. why
by direction, fast boats don’t carry ‘nukes’ … only fleet ballistic missile submarines or ‘boomers’ …. fast boats carried nuke ‘torpedoes’ in the past, Clinton shut that one down. BUT, most attack boats are VLS boats type 2 and 3, launch cruise missiles ….old Ohio class boats can launch up to and around 180 cruise missiles…..fast boats do MUCH MORE SEA TIME than boomers, trust me, way more…. 30 yrs worth and more.
Absolutely true. Trump needed to respond but we know, and more importantly Russia knows, we have subs around the world. Trump just responded in a very public manner. He matched Medvedev’s public comments but in a more measured tone. Personally I think Medvedev is used by Putin like Bolton was used by Trump. Trump doesn’t want another cold war but Europe does. Luckily our President and VP both know that.
Sometimes I have thought the same thing about Medvedev.
Perfectly stated, Weasel. An interesting book was written some years ago about a top secret program with subs modified to be able to squat on Russian cables in the Barents’ Sea to place taps on them. This operation was ongoing for some years and yielded troves of important information. I was privileged to get a brief tour of one of them at Groton as it was being decommissioned. Of course, that was never mentioned at the time!
Ivy Bells
It worked like a charm until the traitor Ronald Pelton exposed it.
Learn here wvery day. Thanks

“Blind man’s Bluff”
This is in the realm of “Those who know don’t tell; those who tell don’t know”.
Soooo…it really didn’t matter strategically or operationally when Russian sub patrols off both coasts escalated during the Obama administration? Ops normal?
Look what the deep state and Biden left us all with!
lulz.
what would you say is a rational amount of time; or a set of actions (or INactions) that would make it about what TRUMP is leaving us?
Biden left us a mess, to be sure. but now Trump is in charge, the guy we all stood behind to make all this BS stop. and he is making it worse.
no he isn’t.
Define “worse” in your own words.
Nonsense.
You must have been one of the criers, upvoting you pal up above.
Cry harder!
WELCOME TO MODERATION BOB…
I have another pallet coming Puddy..

HAHAHAHAHAHA. I don’t actually believe you.
The Nazi NATO expansion came by the illegal wars against the Serbs and the Clinton Admin/NATO’s illegal actions/wars in support of WWII Jihadists/Nazi/Crime cartels in the Balkans aka 13 SS & 21 SS
🎯 its always been about WWIII. They are practically drooling over oceans of American, Russian and European blood spilled in an unwinnable nuclear war.
🙏
What happened to no pointless foreign wars? Wasn’t that one of the three legs of Trumpism: repatriate manufacturing, close the border and end pointless foreign wars? Apparently Trump has outsourced his foreign policy to Linda Grahamnesty. Horribly disappointing.
At the end of the day, Trump is the one making the ultimate decisions. If the Ukraine proxy war continues with US arms and US intelligence that’s on Trump and Trump let it continue. Trump is Commander in Chief.
If Europe wants to bankroll Ukraine, use European weapons and European intelligence that’s on them.
I voted to end the wars. Now we are giving an additional 500 million to Israel along with the near 4 billion annual donation. Yeah, none of this is America First
the support of israel is appropriate. the civilized world is at war with islam. no borders there. trump will turn the economic screws on putin. and the citizens of ukraine will turn them on zelenski. and always remeber, ‘a little incursion might be okay’. joe biden
There are 50,000 Orthodox Christians living in Palestine along with Muslims and they get along very well. They’re not at war with each other!
There is no Palestine.
Where is this “Palestine” that you are talking about? It certainly is not Gaza, Israel, or the West Bank. Where?
The Christians in Palestine hardly have it easy with their Muslim neighbors.
50,000? Would those be the ones stuck in Northern Gaza starving? How can they hate the Jews so much they mutilated innocent woman and children but don’t bother Christians living amongst them? It doesn’t make sense to me at all.
And none of us voted for Hamas to be empowered to the point of deathly and maiming torture in this time of history….
The population of Israel is close to 9.5 million in 2025, NYC in 2023 had a population of about 8.2 million…numbers vary on the sources.
They’re controlling him through Susie Wiles and Marco Rubio. He doesn’t even seem to understand that he is betraying the fundamentals of his own movement.
I think they knew they could surround him with their people (how in the hell did Mike Waltz become national security advisor?)(and they walled off Tulsi Gabbard from foreign policy, but she’s making herself useful in other ways) and gently guide him down the neo-con pathway, and that’s why they let him be president again. . . . That and having two obviously stolen presidential elections in a row might cause a civil war.
Don’t forget get he’s walking among the corruptocrats being careful to get wins where he can. Congress controls the purse strings that funds what they want and if too many complain he’s got to give a little to win in other areas. The 500 million was to feed the Palestinians and he is more concerned that they will even get it as intended. He has to rely on others telling the truth! He’s one man!
We DO need to trade with the EU. As much as I hate the folks that run it, I wouldn’t want Russia to eat up Europe.
At this point, Europe might actually benefit!
💯
I am not being antagonistic, please enlighten me as to why we NEED to trade with Europe.
Isn’t it time for reciprocal trade, i.e. fair trade?
Why are we in (paying for) NATO anyway?
Why are we still in NATO? Defense contractors need money.
I don’t think Soviet motorized divisions are going to come through the Fulda Gap anytime soon.
What war are we in presently?
Truly losing faith in Trump. I can see no logic in this.
Those are Biden’s submarines. All Trump did was move them closer to Russia. And once the sanctions are finalized and announced they will be moved closer to India and China. Just as Lord Palmerston moved his gunboats up the Yangtze after the Chinese emperor refused payment in British Opium.
Gunboat Diplomacy
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gunboat_diplomacy
Did he?
The reason submarines go to sea is to hide. Their missiles can hit Russia from the pier.
But keeping them hidden is the game to prevent first strike from taking them out.
No need to move them closer other than shorten flight time.
They are not moving “into range”.
boomers go to hide, depending on mission …. attack boats don’t necessarily hide.
I would beg to differ with you on that with all respect. I make this comment based on personal experience.
Do we still have any Los Angeles class boats in service?
I know the Ohio class are still around. Shows ya how well they were designed.
All 31 of the Flight Is are decommissioned (but 2 were then turned into reactor training ships).
Most (6 of 8) of the Flight IIs (with VLS) are decommissioned, and the other 2 will be gone soon.
However, most (about 20 of 23) of the Flight III (“improved”) are still operating.
As more Virginia class get built, the last of the LAs will be retired, with nearly all gone by 2030.
My ex told me that the ruskie’s subs were noisy…and his own sub would play cat and mouse chase games with them…’81-82-ish…
He wasn’t lying. Distinctive noise that we could track.
I was on the boats at the same time as ur ex.
Used to love sitting topside feeling the sun on my face and the cool breeze of the ocean.
Subs are probably the only leg of the triad that really still works.
Pinpoint nukes would destroy land based ICBMs.
Manned bombers might make a few sorties into Russia, maybe B-2 stealth bombers.
We should quit building carriers. They’re just big targets for hypersonic missiles.
Don’t you mean, “hit Russia from the ‘tinder'”? LOL….
Ok. That was funny
All subs are always in strategic areas.
The game is hide and seek.
We used to follow the Rooskies all the time.
This is really a nothing burger.
Been there, done that 😎
Sea of O … big damn body of water, noise carried forever.
Trump’s telegraphing to them he’s genuinely attentive to what they have to say, takes them seriously, and is willing to act quickly on their suggestions.
We have considerably more than two submarines in the fleet, and always nearby. Nothing new about this. What is new, an American President is dialed in and listening.
You are not looking. American submarines are continuously deployed throughout the world as needed. WeasleMB ,in a previous post, described it very well.
Wow!! 29 likes. That many people on this site ready to give up on PDJT?
People are just afraid. They hear this stuff and it makes them jumpy.
Most people know nothing about the job of a submarine so they hear this stuff and it scares them.
The faux MAGA outrage cabal always cry foul. Not to worry. Give it a few days and they’ll be jumping off on something else.
All it takes is one hothead to explode the whole damn thing.
indeed.
that’s why all these empty declarations of how smart it all is and its part of the usual 4D chess and its to gain leverage, blah blah blah… are nonsense… even if it was (which i do not buy for a second), things in this state spiral out of control very, VERY easily.
There you are again, crying.
You aint fooling anyone, and we aint buyin what yer sellin, hoss.
Cry even harder….
Actually, if what you say is true, we would have seen a nuclear world war many times over by now.
Saber rattling by nuclear capable nations has been going on since the cold war.
And the movement of two nuclear weapon capable subs is just saber rattling.
There’s probably a good ten or twelve of them along the coast of Europe right now.
And we probably have that many Russian subs on our east and west coasts as well.
That doesn’t include land based ICBMs and airborne missiles either.
Having served in Strategic Air Command during the Carter Reagan years, I can assure you that we are no where near a nuclear war yet, in fact, during those years things were a lot more sketchy than they are now. Doesn’t mean it can’t happen, but the back and forth I am seeing in the press is nothing new.
We screen our commanders very carefully. Many officers in the corps few, very few are “Skippers”!
I am so sick of these distractions! It’s time Pam Blondi, Kash, and Dan Bogino start arresting people before they get back into power and start arresting MAGA, again!
It’s not time if they don’t yet have their ducks in a row for a tight case.
Patel said that at the annex there are thousands of docs. They are still going through them.
How long does this take? Did they assign just one person to do this? This excuse is getting old. Does not pass the smell test. Tulsi didn’t need months or years of reading before going public. Babylon Bee even has an article up today on this issue. You know you’re not cutting it when the BB is on the case.
OMG! I thought we could get by one night (or at least one story) without ragging on Pam, Kash and Dan! I guess not!
Please, I ask again, can we just put this sticky at the top of the forum with the same people unvoting. It is posted everyday, in every subject line. And yes, I can scroll by and usually do, but it is ridiculous after seeing it time and time and time again.
Too many concern trolls clutching pearls. (“I didn’t vote for this” self owns you as a never trumper to begin with.)
If two men are fighting then how do you break it up ? In other words which one do you hit first?
Same with this “war” and then add in that it’s the IC/banker’s war.
Fear is a terrible thing and some posters are trying to induce fear…..I say take that sky is falling caca somewhere’s else.
once again, this is a trap, intentional or not – of conflating MAGA with being “pro-Trump.”
Trump has advanced a pro-american agenda further than any leader in my lifetime. but when he does things against american interests, i have every right and responsibility to say so.
in fact, i would turn it around: these self owns mean you were never MAGA to begin with. you are just a trump fan. thats fine, but be honest about it.
What has he done against the USA’s interests specifically?
I am first an American patriot, a believer in the Constitution and the founder’s principles.
President Trump is the most conservative, closest to the founder’s ideals president since Thomas Jefferson.
Trump is MAGA right now and MAGA is Trump the two are inseparable at the moment.
Hopefully the ideals of MAGA or populism/nationalism will carry beyond his term.
He is doing everything possible and to find fault with problems he has not yet solved is not truly supporting him or the ideals of America first. You are entitled to your opinion but that is the way I see all who jump at the chance to criticize or play Eeyore at every delay.

Ohhhh…14 big upvotes.
So 14 of you are paid to post nonsense and try to turn people against the best President ever?
Not working, princess.
Keep crying though. You guys are so obvious, its a joke.
Actually it’s 19.
Flagged. You’re continually mocking a longstanding treeper without adding anything to the discussion. That’s not acceptable here.
Muley Bulley is NOT a long standing treeper or poster here.
To quote Senator Javits, “You are entitled to your own opinions but not your own facts.” You also have a Constitutional Right to speak those opinions and see how many fools follow you.
☝🏻This needs 100 up votes.
Yep. There are a bunch of them here, whining and crying, and stirring the pot.
The troll farm clowns are here.
Nothing new. They spew stupid, and we call them out, and them ignore them.
Stupid is s stupid does. They stick out like a sore thumb.
Your insults have been such a great contribution this evening
Flag him. I have.
Someone needs a mirror.
Agree!
i wonder how many of my tax dollars were used to generate this meme?
Haha, 10 more upvotes from your troll farm, concern clowns.
You princesses aren’t moving the needle.
But keep whining. Harder!
And you’re not advancing the discussion in any meaningful way.
Very probably none.
He’s talking about the Soviet’s. Big difference between the Soviet’s and the Orthodox Christian Russians
Yes my friend Colkitto, Rush described the Dims as “stuck on stupid”, too many Americans are stuck on the Cold War and “Russia Bad”.
That said Russia and Putin have their own goals and rightfully so. Those goals conflict with the bankers but are not as often in conflict with America as the bankers would have you believe.
We should be at war with the banks and the Fed.
There is, of course, no way to know what Rush’s opinion on all this would be, but I am pretty sure he would not be singing the praises of Putin like so many here are doing. Most likely Rush would be supporting President Trump on this and have a similar view of Putin.
Putin is nothing like Jesus.
Mmm Hum! I’ll go with the Gipper “Trust but verify!” Remember Putin’s background.
I believe he is referencing the Russian leadership, not the Russian people. President Teddy Roosevelt is said to have made a similar comment … about the Russian leadership.
“Soviet Leadership” Russia was the Soviet Union when Truman made the statement……………………………
For some zeros the Cold War never ended.
Put a dollar sign ($) and some whole numbers in front of those zeros for more clarity.
The Stalinists. The Soviets. The French. The British Crown Government. Lots of liars to go around.
We should give the Russians currently in power more credit for overthrowing the Stalinist and Soviet order. There are certainly external reasons why it could be done, but it was Russians who did it.
Bigotry doesn’t make for good foreign policy. Instead it gives us Biden, Blinken, Neuland, Vindman, Hillary, Soros and that ilk claiming they understand and know what to do.
“Bigotry doesn’t make for good foreign policy.”
Honesty does.
Putin is a liar.
You can’t trust any ally either.
George S. Patton had the same view of the Russians only more so.
On the Russians: “no regard for human life and is an all out son of bitch, barbarian, and chronic drunk”.
That’s an ahistorical quote usage. It implies Pres. Reagan lost the Cold War and Pres. Putin = Stalin.
The Germans were liars–shall we firebomb Dresden again? If Keir Starmer and Charles the Islamo-Druid Pedo-King equal King George, lets declare war on Britain again, too.
Who is the liar?
We promised no more NATO Expansion for German Reunification. That was 21 countries ago.
Then the Clinton/Soros Mafia used NATO to rape Serbia for their vast criminal empire. We overthrew Ukraine in a test drive for overthrowing America. We signed off on the Minsk Agreement knowing we were going to violate it. We’re paying Z-Bag to slaughter Ukrainians for BlackRock–when he’s not sending Nazi Ringers to the Capitol to frame PDT and us.
Yes, Putin should stop. But we started this and on purpose, for Mad Dreams of Empire.
Medvedev has indeed been lippy and PDT’s response is appropriate–although it might all be a good cop/bad cop play.
But our President nor Russia’s is going to start a bigger war to stop a smaller one.
Rest in the Vine: Fresh on the Heels of Their Moscow Mall Terror Attack Success, the DC Deathmongers Send More Cannon Fodder Blood Money to Butcher Even More Ukrainians For Empire
Thank you for being the voice of reason, Gipper.

“Who is the liar?”
Putin
‘appropriate regions’ does NOT necessarily mean within range of Moscow – may be referring to for example, moving an attack sub with Tomahawks from north Atlantic to north sea to be within range of Kaliningrad or the Baltics or Poland. Attack subs don’t carry nukes. Trident subs do and you can bet that once deployed they are already within range of their targets. A Trident sitting dockside at say, Bangor in WA, is already within range of Moscow.
The range of Trident missiles varies depending on the specific model and configuration. The Trident I C-4 had a range of about 4,000 nautical miles (7,400 km) when equipped with eight reentry vehicles, and up to 6,500 nautical miles (12,000 km) with four. The Trident II D-5 has a maximum range of about 6,500 nautical miles (12,000 km) , with some sources indicating a range of up to 12,000 kilometers (7,500 miles) under certain configurations. The Trident II D-5 is also noted to have a range of more than 4,000 nautical miles (4,600 statute miles or 7,360 km).
World is smaller when you go over the north pole
“In order to approach the issue peacefully, it is necessary to conduct detailed conversations. And not in public, but this must be done calmly, in the quiet of the negotiation process.” ~ Vladimir Putin
Nice words but his actions speak much louder and show he doesn’t mean a word of it.
Fourteenthly, President Trump is now on to the bugger.
Always was
Here we go again.
Agree or Disagree with PDJT to your hearts content or at your peril…
Either way, take a deep breath & a step back, take a look around, & if you find yourself standing on the same side of the Libtards or Legacy Media, then you need to seriously & fundamentally reevaluate your position/thinking. Pretty freaking simple!
Trump has no leverage against the Russians. We don’t trade with them and we can’t defeat them militarily. Russia could destroy Europe without firing a shot through sabotage of communications systems and disruption of energy deliveries.
Then why doesn’t Putin do it?
Out of the goodness of his heart?
He doesn’t have one.
Because he doesn’t want to, they are buying his oil.
In 2021, U.S. exports to Russia totaled $6.4 billion, a 30.7% ($1.5 billion) increase from 2020; U.S. imports from
Russia totaled $29.7 billion, a 75.7% ($12.8 billion) increase; and the trade deficit was $23.3 billion, a 94.0%
($11.3 billion) increase.
Prior to the war in Ukraine we did indeed do trade with Russia. The above are the official numbers.
Disagree with you. Ghost fleet could start sinking under mysterious circumstances.
Trump and Putin agree on way way more things that they disagree on so I hope things work out .
They both are hardcore anti woke and anti globalism .
President Trump has already spoken for himself on what he now thinks of Putin.
trump should back off on statements about 50 days then 12 days.
Russia knows that the deepstate is in control and trump is not able to control their actions.
His hands are tied..
That’s not what President Trump has said and he, above all others, is his own man.
Not in this case. For some unknown (to me) reason, the intelligence agencies have gotten the upper hand and Trump is not able to do anything about it. I don’t get it but everyone seems to know this.
His hands are tied……….like the Iran strike or North Korea in his first term along with moving the US embassy into Jerusalem? Or do we just pick and chose what parts the deep state is in control of.
Obama’s and Brennan’s CIA has put Trump in a very dangerous corner. I hope he can extricate himself without setting the world on fire. It would be a big fire.
Trump in a corner simply because he sees Putin as he is?
Fantasy.
Posturing isn’t the problem and its nothing to get overly “concerned” about. You will KNOW when its time to be concerned. The US and the world is far better off than it was last year this time.
Wisdom is important and also perspective.
End
I wonder if Putin’s military chiefs are to him as our Intelligence Community is to Trump?
If so, Trump’s move could be a signal to the Russian hawks to cease trying to influence foreign policy on their own.
Trump needs Putin to be domestically strong enough to make and secure a stable, reliable peace deal. But something tells me the central banks have more control over our IC and Russia’s military than either country’s elected leaders do.
I’m a little disappointed in the discussion on this thread. I originally came here because I felt the posts on GWP and Breitbart were a bit shallow and those here, led by Sundance, are much deeper and more well thought out. With all due respect, for the first time I’m wondering if Treepers maybe ain’t all that?
I love this place but it seems Sundance is getting sunlight, literally out there and the trolls are invading. Just like every other open forum.
The irony of Trumps statement, “Based on the highly provocative statements of the Former President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev”.
Who made the first threat/accusation?
Who started the war?
Who is continuing the war?
Who keeps on threatening Russia and encroaching / trespassing on their space?
And the irony is DJT has spent the past 10 years pointing out that it was the Democrat Party accusing him of what they were doing, only for him to do the same to another Nation.
But I guess “Gangster Rules” are what are played on the street, appeasing the likes of Pink Lindsy, mine is a double cheeseburger, with plenty of hot spice’s, thank you kindly.
If Trump wanted to end this, it is simple enough to stop funding Ukraine with money and weapons..
If it was as simple as you put it, why hasn’t it been done? I love the President but he said he would have this over in a week. It got over his ski’s on this one.
J Brown:
“If Trump wanted to end this, it is simple enough to stop funding Ukraine with money and weapons..”
Correct.
Todd W:
“If it was as simple as you put it, why hasn’t it been done?”
Because the Plan is to keep it going.
“I love the President but he said he would have this over in a week. It got over his ski’s on this one.”
You were deceived. Your “love” for the President blinds you to this and many other deceptions and manipulations exploiting the credulous groupthink of core MAGA supporters.
It didn’t “get over his skis”, it is part of a longer term Plan including collusion between veiled entities steering the global superpowers to a coming “multi-polar global governance”.
It’s obvious that Trump is getting very bad intelligence on Ukraine. He was using Ukrainian propaganda numbers for Russian losses. He believes he has leverage on Russia and that the terrible losses he’s been given will bring Russia to the table. He believes that a deal can be made that preserves deep state power and interests in Ukraine. The truth is that Russia has suffered relatively few losses and the Ukraine has suffered catastrophic losses. The urgency to get a deal is that Ukraine is collapsing faster and faster. The real tell if we’re coming to the end of Ukrainians ability to continue will be if they can counter attack with any effectiveness in Chasiv Yar and Potrovsk. The Russians have finally taken Chasiv Yar. It’s a critical place because it is the high ground that controls deep into Ukrainian territory. Russia has unexpectedly penetrated into the center of Potrovsk and the western flank has collapsed. Potrovsk is a heavily fortified area that the Ukraine should have been able to defend much longer than they have. The fact that Russian sabotage and reconnaissance units have penetrated deep into Potrovsk and remain doesn’t speak well for Ukrainian manpower. The Ukraine is scaping the bottom of the manpower barrel and we the west are running out of arms to send. Trump should have cut and run from the Ukraine the day he took office.
Chasiv Yar and then Kramatorsk.
Kramatorsk has to be taken, it is key. It is about 16 miles from Chasiv Yar.
Watch for it.

Wake me up when the shooting starts.
then goes golfing.🥱
We always have nuclear missile subs “in range” of Moscow, don’t we? They always have nuclear missile subs in range of Washington, don’t they? That’s how M.A.D. works. This is all just political theater.
Putin’s response was ridiculous. All he’s done from the beginning of Trump’s presidency is delay any forward movement on ending the war.

Putin told you what his mission was.
But people think they know more than what the actual man said out of his mouth — clear as day.
Putin and the Russian military will finish the mission and completely neutralize Ukraine. Any attempt to interfere in that will lead to a nuclear exchange. A false flag, a pre-emptive strike, any of these will be catastrophic for humanity.
“In order to approach the issue peacefully, it is necessary to conduct detailed conversations. And not in public, but this must be done calmly, in the quiet of the negotiation process.” ~ Vladimir Putin
Then perhaps he should tell Medvedev to kindly shut his mouth/still his fingers and take a back seat as Medvedev certainly isn’t helping the situation.
Good cop, bad cop?
“Words are very important, and can often lead to unintended consequences, I hope this will not be one of those instances. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
.
Right… May be that’s why Trump shouldn’t be giving 50 day ultimatums to America’s biggest nuclear adversary on Truth Social
Even more important than words are ACTIONS… Saying that you want peace with Russia while using your vassal client state to attack Russian fighter planes which are placed in public view as part of strategic treaty on arms reduction and killing civilians by terrorist attacks are WORSE…
It’s obvious that Putin has lost confidence in Trump… Because in this proxy war, Trump doesn’t call the shots and Putin knows it fully well..
Trump said it would take him 24 hours to stop the current proxy war… And yet, here we are.
A key thing to remember in all of this is that Russia was provoked into it over many years. They finally looked at a NATO invasion force on their doorstep, and decided to strike first. This gave them the military advantage which they have never lost. (You would do exactly the same.)
You can’t now tell Russia, “oh, stop this [surrender everything …],” without addressing the serious reasons why it started. Beginning with the inexorable expansion of a so-called “defensive” alliance directly to their doorstep. The Russians are not stupid. And, they know exactly what War is. (“Victory Day.”)
A “defensive” alliance wants neutral space between itself and its adversary. Whereas . . .
To suggest that they will stop, merely because you told them to, without addressing the underlying issues, is to display both arrogance and ignorance. To start playing with your nuclear subs is dangerous recklessness not becoming a major nation: “we are not Iran.”
The Russians are willing to negotiate, and they have legitimate grievances. Sit down, shut up, and LISTEN.
Yes!!! One has to understand that every invasion of Russia over the past 250 years started on the western borders of Ukraine and Belarus and the Russians needed all of the territory of Belarus and Ukraine to stop the enemy armies (French, Polish, Germans (x2) and in 1812, even that was not enough. Therefore it is militarily imperative that Belarus and Ukraine be neutral or occupied by Russian forces. Imagine if Ukraine & Belarus both fell to Western backed color revolutions… that would put NATO armies where the German armies were after the first 6 months of Operation Barbarossa in 1941.
When you think about the big picture NATO has done quite well for itself. In 1989 the NATO/Russian line of contact ran through Central Germany and now, 36 years later, without firing a shot, the front line has been pushed eastward by 1500 km. So, instead of fighting Russia in Central Europe, NATO is now fighting in the Donbass using the Ukrainian Army instead of its own. I don’t think any leader of the USSR could have ever imagined that in their wildest dreams/nightmares, but it happened.
IN OTHER WORDS: Russia has had a ceasefire for the past 36 years and look where that has got them.
I need all the money deposited in Wells Fargo to live the lifestyle I deserve. Oh wait-it is not mine…. Pretty sure that ceasefire began in 1945. NATO has done well because none of the former Eastern block countries want to have anything to do with Russia. Why is that? Even sad Belarus has dodged uniting with Russia for decades.
/ none of the former Eastern block countries/
Save for Hungary …and the few that are still permitted to vote by Brussels. 🙂
Take on Russia? Keep kidding.
the Regime Change business may not work in some countries https://x.com/i/status/1840890284055675240
So much for ending the war in 24 hours. Nervous knowing Trump or any commander in chief has the power to launch nukes at will. Go back to America 1st, not Ukraine, Israel, NATO, or Blackrock. Just be a Ron Paul Constitutionalist for Heavens sake!
ok…my 2 cents…..🤷♀️
I agree with President Putin. 👏
Social media- twitter battles 🙄🤦♀️
This started days ago with ..among other things…
Lindsey Graham running his mouth. 🤬 Talking big
and talking trash on TV….then the twitter battle.
Medvedev is the former President of Russia….
very well known as a troll master and not known
for his diplomatic skills.😁
I once read….President Putin talks to the world 🌎….
Medvedev talks to the Russian people.🤷♀️
Start at 10:00 for beginning of “twitter war” he shows
tweets in his podcast….between Graham and Medvedev.😖
Alex Christoforu….🥊 🥊 In one corner we have Lindsey Graham…in the other corner..Medvedev.
Trump; 10 day deadline, NO talking to PUTIN. Lindsey takes on Medvedev. EU squirms out of US deal
I guess Graham got butt-hurt and went to President Trump
and then he joined in…..🤷♀️
This is where we are.
“Dmitry Medvedev
About Trump’s threats about me on his personal‘Truth’
social media network, which he has banned in our country.
If some words from the former president of Russia trigger
such a nervous reaction from the high-and – mighty president
of the United States, then Russia is doing everything right and
will continue to proceed along its own path.
And about India’s and Russia’s ‘dead economies’ and ‘entering very dangerous territory’-well, let him remember his favorite movies about “the walking dead’, as well as how dangerous the fabled ‘Dead Hand’ can be 😂”. end quote.IA
The ‘Dead Hand’ from my basic research is
Soviet Union version of …kill switch. Perimeter System.
If a decapitation strike happens on Moscow against
Russian leadership and the country….the “launch “
automatically happens. It is retaliation strike.
Could it be that perhaps Medevev and Russian
Intelligence are aware of plans for a decapitation
strike and was putting out reminder?🤔 Don’t do it.
Here is interesting article…..some more of
the ..backstory.
Trump’s dead economy india 25 per cent tariff jibe triggers Russian nuke warning Dmitry Medvedev Dead Hand dangerous – India Today
🤷♀️ 🤷♀️ Guess we just have to wait and see what happens.
Trump’s dead economy india 25 per cent tariff jibe triggers Russian nuke warning Dmitry Medvedev Dead Hand dangerous – India Today
Strong message to Putin without an envelope and waste of a stamp.
Only one person Putin doesn’t want to whiz off is our VSGPDJT.
Well, our ICBM subs are always in striking distance.
Trump trolling Russian deep state.
Time for Putin to enter the ring, assuming he still has the capacity to do so.
I don’t know where the President wants to put these two subs, but the Trident missiles on board have a published range of 4600 miles. You could put one off the coast of Maine, in U.S. water, and hit Moscow.
There is fear about this nuclear sub movement. I read the comments. They are everywhere.
When I was in Kindergarten our teachers had us watch a movie about a nuclear attack, and every week we would have emergency drills. The alarm would go off and we would all get under our wooden desks to protect us from the Russian nuclear attack.
At a young age I got used to the idea that life was always going to be temporary. I should mention that even as a 5-year-old getting under a wooden desk to protect myself from a nuclear holocaust did not make sense to me. We saw a video where our teacher was slammed against the chalkboard from a giant, explosive mushroom-shaped fire ball. That is what I experienced.
The California Public school system thought wooden desks was our best protection. This is the wisdom of the government. If that doesn’t make much sense to you–that is because it was stupid. They scared all the children for no reason.
This is no different. The subs are another version of wooden desks.
No offense to anyone here who is afraid.
Trust God.
I don’t trust Putin.
I heard someone (maybe VDH) give a good guess as to this situation….basically Putin has spent a million Russian soldier lives in the war, and feels compelled to continue until he achieves some particular level of gain that helps justify the losses. Regardless, imo this latest isn’t gamesmanship, and I fear the escalation. Meanwhile, Ukrainian paramilitary are kidnapping/conscripting men off the streets to use as cannon fodder. Horrific waste of life all around.
Anybody still repeating this 1 million Russian soldier lie should be completely dismissed.
I misspoke, meant casualties to include wounded. What’s your number and what source pls?
