There are many people who only became aware of Elon Musk after he dropped Ron DeSantis and took up a position in support of President Trump.
Most of those people do not have a reference for Musk complying with the platform control demands of Brazil, France and Turkey [Durov (Telegram), and Pavlovski (Rumble) did not].
Most of those Pro-Elon people also do not have a reference for Musk claiming he and his legal team did not know former FBI Chief Legal Counsel James Baker was the legal counsel for Twitter at the time of the purchase, until after independent journalist Matt Taibbi was researching the Twitter Files and complained about Baker filtering information. {GO DEEP} Musk fired Baker, and eventually, Musk kicked Taibbi out and shut down the Twitter File reviews.
Additionally, almost all of the Musk supporters do not know about Elon Musk giving the DOJ/FBI user data of all MAGA accounts following Donald Trump on the Twitter platform. {Go Deep}
Taken as a whole, this is a small portion of the context that explains my long-standing issues with Elon Musk, who has now seemingly achieved demigod status as an untouchable elite in the orbit of President Trump according to those who support him.
The issue with the transmission of user data to the DOJ/FBI is not an issue of Elon Musk complying with a subpoena; the bigger issue was Musk simultaneously telling the public that Twitter user data was secure and would not be compromised by government.
At the same time Musk was saying the platform and user data would be secure from government intrusion, he was sending the FBI/DOJ all of the metadata for Trump supporters on Twitter. That was/is a big issue that many now pretend not to remember.
To be fair, at the time of his public statements, Musk was not supporting Donald Trump. In fact, he was intending to use his platform to elevate the status of his favored candidate, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. As a result, Musk had no motive or intent to impede the effort of the DOJ/FBI targeting of President Trump or his supporters. However, that doesn’t change the reality of what took place.
Setting aside all of the financial issues in/around the purchase of Twitter -which are numerous- the real issue behind the metadata was Musk saying something false; while knowing he was complying with government. This was a point when Musk’s integrity on these matters was revealed.
Beyond the H1B visa issue, this history is part of the reason why many people are concerned about Elon Musk’s proximity and influence with President Donald Trump.
Just as President Trump is likely unaware the full scope of what Pam Bondi did in George Zimmerman case to support a false witness, so too is President Trump likely unaware of Musk’s involvement with the DOJ/FBI to send them MAGA targeting information. Quite simply, there is no one in President Trump’s orbit who would ever share these specific details.
Elon Musk was also an attendee at the 2016, Sea Island summit in Georgia – the original assembly of 54 billionaires who agreed to work together and fund the “stop Trump” movement.

1) Eliminate (eradicate, not just downsize) as many federal agencies as possible.
2) Bring the IC complex of agencies under control, while firing all the higher management personnel.
Ideally getting rid of most of these agencies too and
decentralizing what’s left.
This will also require leveraging the best senators into the oversight committee.
3) Fire everyone in the State Department, start from scratch for personnel, and end funding of the dozens of NGOs and think tanks that dictate our foreign policy.
4) Limit the military to 4 – 4 star generals, and ban anyone in the military from the ability to be hired by MIC companies after leaving the military.
5) Close most overseas bases, and redeploy our military home, focusing on securing our own borders.
6) End NATO membership and involvement in regime changes, foreign meddling and foreign aid.

Last year, the top 30 H-1B visa employers laid off 84,556 people at the same time as they sought 34,414 new H1-B foreign workers. This includes firms such as @elonmusk‘s Tesla.
This is all great that now H1B visas and the disastrous harm this policy has created for the American people is now out in the open far and wide.

Because H-1B is not the only visa that can be manipulated.
Remember, the H-1B – while a non-immigrant visa, DOES allow a ‘pathway to citizenship’, because an H1-B vis holder can apply for a Legal Permanent Resident (LPR) card (aka Green Card), and eventually, USC (citizenship).
Thus, one H-1B could be responsible for an increase of many multiples of the 65,000 H-1B visas issued annually.

Wife
2 children (either H-4s or born here, thus USCs)
1 or 2 sets of parents
Other relatives
So, at LEAST
4 x 65,000 = more than 250,000 LEGAL and Permanent additions to the US population.
After 10 years, that’s
2.5 million.

And that’s a conservative estimate.

No one “works for free”. While there may not be a literal paycheck received, there must be some kind of reward, be it ego gratification, a chance to bend rules in your own favor, or reward friends, or maybe a desire to do something altruistic, that’s just human nature. There will be relatively little actual cutting, with or without DOGE.
The morass of red tape DOGE claims it will target as the starting point is but one of multiple insurmountable obstacles.
Doesn’t matter how many outside resources are brought to bear, the red tape is an intertwined sea, attempts to cut will completely bog down.
The EPA rules noted a few posts back are a molecule in a drop in the bucket.
Then there is the fact that only about 15% of the total budget could be put up for cuts in the first place. Federal employees are about a third of that, if they were all fired this only reduces spending by 5% which is insignificant against the runaway deficit/debt now going exponential with the interest.
Congress controls nearly all spending, DOGE will be as flatus in the wind, against that.
No, DOGE is not what it is pretending to be.
The only tool available to resolve the debt is for the US to declare major war. Look – how convenient, Ukraine. And to think, there we were, wondering why the US has been pushing this.

Perhaps you could collect the research on the immigration laws and regulations for the rest of us; give us a clear, legally supportable memorandum of points on this, supplemented with proposed drafts for EOs, revised regulations, legislative proposals (bills) for new laws (if necessary), and the plan for how to revise and reorganize the current agencies, departments, and employees handling immigration and visa issues.
That way, others of us could work on the messes in NIH, CDC, EPA, DHS, FDA, DOJ, finance, VA, DOE, education, etc. etc. etc. etc.

I think we’ve all experienced having an enemy in our midst whether family or work and what I hope you’ve noticed is having an enemy there grinds everyone down. There is no advantage, they need to be expelled or you as an individual need to disengage from them.
I hope that President Trump will tread carefully around his new “friends”. I’m not sure they can be trusted.
This kerfuffle has awoken a few people, which is good. Some people need a messiah type, and we’ll never get through to them. Others are persuadable, even when they’ve been on a misguided path. Lots of persuading these past few days. I can’t help but think Trump set this up, to expose the purported messiah. And his hands are squeaky clean.
Put your hope in men (mankind) but never forget that we are all fallible, weak, and biased in some way, both to the good and bad.

Musk and Ramaswamy are unlikely allies of President Trump and yet they both contributed greatly to the success of DJT’s campaign. Both have business ties to China as indeed it seems do nearly all billionaires (Vivek is not yet a billionaire but on his way). Aligning the investor class with MAGA’s ordinary workers and small business owners will be Trump’s singular challenge and it will most certainly be a bumpy road. Stopping illegal and strictly limiting legal immigration are top MAGA priorities. If employers do not want poorly educated American citizens than employers and the MAGA government should address this problem, not work around it with foreign nationals.

When you are at the crossroads of the demise of your country, as we are, and Trump seems to be aware of this, one would think that you would take every measure to vet those people that you are planning on letting be your closest confidant. There is too much to loose. This is one of Trump’s major problems, not turning over every rock, every stone to find out exactly who the people around him are. One can only hope and pray that God will open his eyes to see who Musk is as he is the most dangerous, especially now that he has taken up residence at Mar-a-Lago.

1. Energy

3. Immigration

100% agree. What raised my suspicion initially was watching a couple Elon vids on youtube and then watching what the algorithm started throwing up. Elon is seen to be a real superhero, loving of all humanity.
Unfortunately, the rabbit hole with Elon and Thiel goes pretty deep. Around what they are doing with crypto seems to connect them to a large spider web of questionable characters. Thus far not a pretty sight. And let’s just say we are unlikely to ever see that full Epstein list.
