There are many people who only became aware of Elon Musk after he dropped Ron DeSantis and took up a position in support of President Trump.
Most of those people do not have a reference for Musk complying with the platform control demands of Brazil, France and Turkey [Durov (Telegram), and Pavlovski (Rumble) did not].
Most of those Pro-Elon people also do not have a reference for Musk claiming he and his legal team did not know former FBI Chief Legal Counsel James Baker was the legal counsel for Twitter at the time of the purchase, until after independent journalist Matt Taibbi was researching the Twitter Files and complained about Baker filtering information. {GO DEEP} Musk fired Baker, and eventually, Musk kicked Taibbi out and shut down the Twitter File reviews.
Additionally, almost all of the Musk supporters do not know about Elon Musk giving the DOJ/FBI user data of all MAGA accounts following Donald Trump on the Twitter platform. {Go Deep}
Taken as a whole, this is a small portion of the context that explains my long-standing issues with Elon Musk, who has now seemingly achieved demigod status as an untouchable elite in the orbit of President Trump according to those who support him.
The issue with the transmission of user data to the DOJ/FBI is not an issue of Elon Musk complying with a subpoena; the bigger issue was Musk simultaneously telling the public that Twitter user data was secure and would not be compromised by government.
At the same time Musk was saying the platform and user data would be secure from government intrusion, he was sending the FBI/DOJ all of the metadata for Trump supporters on Twitter. That was/is a big issue that many now pretend not to remember.
To be fair, at the time of his public statements, Musk was not supporting Donald Trump. In fact, he was intending to use his platform to elevate the status of his favored candidate, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. As a result, Musk had no motive or intent to impede the effort of the DOJ/FBI targeting of President Trump or his supporters. However, that doesn’t change the reality of what took place.
Setting aside all of the financial issues in/around the purchase of Twitter -which are numerous- the real issue behind the metadata was Musk saying something false; while knowing he was complying with government. This was a point when Musk’s integrity on these matters was revealed.
Beyond the H1B visa issue, this history is part of the reason why many people are concerned about Elon Musk’s proximity and influence with President Donald Trump.
Just as President Trump is likely unaware the full scope of what Pam Bondi did in George Zimmerman case to support a false witness, so too is President Trump likely unaware of Musk’s involvement with the DOJ/FBI to send them MAGA targeting information. Quite simply, there is no one in President Trump’s orbit who would ever share these specific details.
Elon Musk was also an attendee at the 2016, Sea Island summit in Georgia – the original assembly of 54 billionaires who agreed to work together and fund the “stop Trump” movement.

If he manipulated the user accounts in accordance with their opinions on his chosen topics after proclaiming the sanctity of free expression within the law, then he is not to be trusted at all.

In all fairness, who hasn’t complied with government mandates that they didn’t believe in? I think he’s showing his true colors now, but you never know, he could be just your average bandwagoner, jumping on and riding the Trump Train. Only time will tell.

Musky has always wanted to create a global payment system that EVERYBODY had to use. He talked about it extensively when they were creating PayPal. CBDCs would be part of the system eventually, with all transactions being processed by his system.

He’s also pushing AI control machines (robotics by any other name), providing even more control in addition to a potential army that would obey only him. He fully understands the considerable danger of AI and has openly expressed his fear of what could happen if AI isn’t “properly programmed” and stated that the AI had to be programmed for “maximum truth.” The irony is that his own Grok product has been tested and shown to lie.

Musk is attacking us by giving jobs here to people from other countries. White men in STEM fields are having trouble getting jobs, and especially entry level jobs, and promotions. That hurts not just them but families and whole generations.

I agree with you that I wish President Trump would have handled Musk’s comments now. Generations of Americans have been and are being deeply hurt by importing foreign workers. President Trump knows that.

SpaceX at its start was funded by In-Q-Tel, the finance arm of the CIA, and Mike Griffin was the person in charge. Then in 2008 despite taxpayer funding SpaceX was on the verge of bankruptcy so in steps Mike Griffin, now the head of NASA who awards SpaceX a $ 3 billion contract even though at the time SpaceX hadn’t successfully sent anything into space. Currently SpaceX is a client of the USAID, another CIA linked outfit, being paid handsomely to provide the Ukrainian military access to Starlink’s communication. Musk has a very long history with the CIA and IMO is or can be used by the CIA to spy on Trump. But, if this comments section can be thought of as a reasonable sampling, there have been serious reservations about Elon, Vivek, Tucker, RFK JR. etc. from the beginning.
They all kind of rose up to prominent attention at about the same time; Tucker fired from Fox, JR running for Pres. after writing his book, and Elon buying Twitter.
And, they all have assiciations with the I/C, and or the Blob…..

I suspect Musk (and perhaps Vivek too) will voluntarily withdraw themselves from their roles when they get a good taste of government ethics rules and regulations for Presidential advisors. Even though the rules and regulations generally apply to those in paid positions, unpaid advisors can also be impacted under certain circumstances.
Even is nothing untoward occurs, expect the media and Dems to make much noise about ethics and conflicts of interest. It will happen not necessarily to damage Musk, but to damage the President.
I said this before: Musk has globalist conservative beliefs. They believe in climate change, corporate scams, cheap labour imported or exported, China centric policies, censorship, pandemics, etc.

In response, Elon and his friends have alluded to Americans being “lazy” “unskilled” and even “retarded.” After substantial pushback in the comment sections all over his own platform, Elon announced that the algorithm on X would be changing to combat this rising tide of dissent. X also started removing verification badges and locking out accounts that have been pushing back on the call for more “legal” replacement of our people. This has caused a flood of X users to join the Gab community in recent days and we welcome them with open arms to experience both freedom of speech and freedom of reach that our platform has to offer.
The Silicon Valley elite, blinded by their own intellectual arrogance and disconnected from the spiritual needs of the people, have proposed immigration policies that prioritize economic efficiency and their shareholder’s interests over the well-being of Americans and the integrity of our communities and culture. They are unrooted from the soil and thus have no care for its fundamental destruction so long as they can profit from it. Corporations, websites, apps, and games come and go. Society is not built upon pixels; it is built upon the labor, love, and blood of hardworking men and women who pour their hearts into creating and building something real.
Let us not be blinded by their illusions. Let us instead turn our attention to the things that will outlast any pixel or algorithm. Let us build a better future, brick by brick, with our own two hands and with our own exceptional people. The potential for American greatness has never been higher and we do not need to look to talent pools in foreign nations in order to unlock that potential.
