At a midterm campaign rally at the LevelUp Training Complex in Monroe, Michigan, Vice President JD Vance delivered a hard-hitting keynote speech focused on boosting Republican Senate candidate Mike Rogers.  Vance used his appearance to launch sharp attacks against Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, framing the upcoming race as a “battle between grievance and gratitude”. During his 30-minute address, Vance labeled El-Sayed “a little weasel” who should “shut his mouth and show a little gratitude to the country that gave him everything”, arguing that El-Sayed’s critiques of systemic inequities in America showed a lack of appreciation for the nation.  The personal insult quickly sparked a fiery response from Abdul El-Sayed. Fired up by the attack, El-Sayed pushed back publicly against Vance’s comments, rejecting the “weasel” label and telling supporters: “JD Vance called me a little weasel today. I’m like no, no, no. What you’re talking about is a f*ing wolverine”—referencing Michigan’s state mascot. 
Unprofessional Language for a Senate Candidate: Opponents criticized El-Sayed for resorting to expletives (“a f*ing wolverine”), arguing that using profanity on the campaign trail lowers the decorum expected of a candidate for the U.S. Senate.

Leaning into Insults Over Substance: Detractors noted that instead of addressing the specific policy disagreements or Vance’s substantive critiques regarding his past statements, El-Sayed chose to trade personal, high-school-style insults and lean into rhetoric over policy.

Cliche State-Rivalry pandering: Critics viewed the reliance on the Michigan vs. Ohio / Wolverines vs. Buckeyes rivalry as cheap pandering to local sports tribalism rather than offering a meaningful vision for voters.

Biological Paradox: Some pointed out that from an animal classification standpoint, wolverines and weasels belong to the exact same biological family (Mustelidae), meaning the retort inadvertently validated Vance’s framing of the comparison.

Voters looking for steady, dignified leadership in Michigan should support Mike Rogers. Abdul El-Sayed’s recent use of profane language and heated outbursts demonstrate a lack of composure and self-control expected of a leader. Beyond concerns over temperament, El-Sayed’s sharp critiques of American institutions and history signal a worldview that seeks to dismantle our nation’s core principles rather than build upon them. Michiganders deserve a representative like Mike Rogers who will respect the office and work to strengthen our state and country.

Even if we lose the country to the communists it’s worth it to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon for the next few months. They’d fire it over Israel and into Los Angeles.

 Prices were down across the board in the grocery store today even though the Producer Price Index has been rising. More evidence the corporate political Cartels trying to keep prices artificially high for the Election are falling apart (it’s a tricky and unforgiving business trying to keep prices artificially high, or low).
 
 For you information there were these clowns at the intersection in town today that had to be dumocrats, there were quite alot of them jumping up and down for early voting but they also had blue “Power Vote” signs. We’re a blood red County so they wouldn’t even identify themselves. One of the huge problems with early voting is it has people making decisions while all the Media lies can still be at fever pitch.
 It’s so gross there is a political party that wants to manipulate & steal another person’s vote. Quite frankly, I hate them.
 Then the cold rain started coming down and they scattered like the cockroaches that they are – like I say they had to be dumocrats . . “Power” “Power” “Power” . . how all these little peons get gratification from this is beyond me.
 What did I ever do to those bastards, except be tolerant of them!
