I’m not surprised, I’m just angry. According to Kevin Rojek, the head of the FBI’s Pittsburgh Field Office leading the investigation into the attempted assassination of President Trump, Matthew Crooks acted alone -no coconspirators- and the FBI has no idea what his motive was.
According to the representative for the “best men” the Federal Bureau of Investigation has, Crooks might have been a leftist or a far-right extremist, they are just not sure.
What the FBI does know is that no one taught or helped Crooks make complicated explosives, and they are sure he acted alone… for some mysterious reason…. that culminated in a bullet passing through the top of President Trump’s right ear.
The pretending that permeates the FBI is infuriating to me. It is almost difficult to write or share this stuff.
WASHINGTON – Six weeks after the assassination attempt against Donald Trump, the FBI still doesn’t know what motivated the shooter.
“Extensive analysis of the subject’s online search history as well as his specific online activity has provided us valuable insight into his mindset, but not a definitive motive,” Kevin Rojek, the head of the FBI’s Pittsburgh Field Office, told reporters Wednesday.
So far, he added, the FBI sees “no definitive ideology … either left-leaning or right-leaning” associated with the shooter, Thomas Crooks.
Rather, Crooks had “a sustained, detailed effort to plan an attack on some event” and considered multiple targets, according to Rojek. He became “hyper-focused” on Trump’s July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, after it was announced. Crooks fired eight shots at Trump from a rooftop that day, killing one person in the crowd, injuring two others and injuring Trump’s ear. Within seconds, a Secret Service sniper shot and killed Crooks.
There are no signs that Crooks had any co-conspirators or had links to foreign entities, officials said.
The FBI has accessed and analyzed material from encrypted email accounts he used, officials added.

Did you see the red dot sight on the rifle? It’s a 1X power optic. At 100 yards, to make a head shot is very difficult. No way he was the only shooter.
Depends upon the minute of angle (MOA) size of the red dot. 2 inch MOA only covers (substends) 2 inches of the target at 100yds.
As always it also depends upon the precision of the rifle (does it shoot into 1 inch at 100 yards or 4 inches) and the SKILL of the rifleman.
Other factors come into play like was the sight mounted properly, the quality of the trigger, the quality if the ammunition and the wind.
There was just enough wind that day to have drifted that shot to the ear instead of worse.
A red dot sight alone would not preclude precision at the 130 yards from the roof peak to the podium.
We are assuming much that the shooter was even aiming at the head. I believe one pix shows a hole in President Trump’s jacket.

As several people, including Dr. Chris Martenson on his Peak Prosperity Rumble site have been saying, shot 9 came from an ESU sniper and shot 10, the kill shot, came from the SS Hercules 1 team. Hercules 2, the closer team to Crooks, had their line of sight blocked by a tree. This is now confirmed by the Higgins report. The real question is, are shots 1-3 from the same gun as shots 4-8? Since the FBI has the weapon, I am sure that we will never know, but I will tell you this. An audio analysis of shots 1-8 reveals that 1-3 were quite different than 4-8. I still believe that Crooks was the patsy and that someone else took the first three shots. The similarities to the Kennedy assassination are endless.

I disagree with Clay Higgins’ assessment.. After round 8 was fired another round was stripped from the magazine and put into battery. Damaging the stock/buffer tube would not prevent the 9th round from firing; however, the damage to the shooter most likely would.
The hidden evidence (rifle, spent casings), unusual crime scene cleanup, and quick cremation are telltale signs of coverup.

Higgins’s reporting was far more significant than anything the FBI will ever release.
The “official” House investigation panel (a couple of days ago) made a point of making it known they (and they alone) have supoena power. Reps Kelly, Crow and Lee made it clear that they expect all others to roll any and all efforts over to the House committee, while not criticizing Higgins’s earlier prompt efforts outright. (Recall that Crow was appointed by Palosi as rounding up the impeachment nonsense.)
Last up was Rep Correa (who is on the House Intel Committee), who casually dropped a novel theory that the DJT campaign itself may have had responsibility for the assassination attempt, but surprisingly, the press didn’t pick up on it.
