I’m not surprised, I’m just angry. According to Kevin Rojek, the head of the FBI’s Pittsburgh Field Office leading the investigation into the attempted assassination of President Trump, Matthew Crooks acted alone -no coconspirators- and the FBI has no idea what his motive was.
According to the representative for the “best men” the Federal Bureau of Investigation has, Crooks might have been a leftist or a far-right extremist, they are just not sure.
What the FBI does know is that no one taught or helped Crooks make complicated explosives, and they are sure he acted alone… for some mysterious reason…. that culminated in a bullet passing through the top of President Trump’s right ear.
The pretending that permeates the FBI is infuriating to me. It is almost difficult to write or share this stuff.
WASHINGTON – Six weeks after the assassination attempt against Donald Trump, the FBI still doesn’t know what motivated the shooter.
“Extensive analysis of the subject’s online search history as well as his specific online activity has provided us valuable insight into his mindset, but not a definitive motive,” Kevin Rojek, the head of the FBI’s Pittsburgh Field Office, told reporters Wednesday.
So far, he added, the FBI sees “no definitive ideology … either left-leaning or right-leaning” associated with the shooter, Thomas Crooks.
Rather, Crooks had “a sustained, detailed effort to plan an attack on some event” and considered multiple targets, according to Rojek. He became “hyper-focused” on Trump’s July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, after it was announced. Crooks fired eight shots at Trump from a rooftop that day, killing one person in the crowd, injuring two others and injuring Trump’s ear. Within seconds, a Secret Service sniper shot and killed Crooks.
There are no signs that Crooks had any co-conspirators or had links to foreign entities, officials said.
The FBI has accessed and analyzed material from encrypted email accounts he used, officials added.

The FBI combed the area looking for evidence. Did they find different calibers of ammo or just .223? There were a lot of cell phones out there. I ask myself what would I do if I realized I photographed a muzzle flash from an adjacent area. Is someone out there reluctant to come forward?

I think he did. Minutes after hearing President Trump was shot, I began looking into Crooks. I probably found the Instagram page when the process of scrubbing his online presence was in full swing. All I saw was a cheesy photo on a profile using his name of a masked man holding a rifle and what looked like a Valley Girl wannabe.
This is the first time I mentioned this, as it was gone a few moments later when I called my husband over to look. I prefer to show evidence of my claims. After that, everything of merit was download to the safest storage device I have.

They can hammer on speculation and motive all day long and it still doesn’t answer my most important question: How is it possible, with all the Secret Service and local law enforcement blanketing the area, that someone with a gun can be spotted multiple times by both attendees and law enforcement prior to the shooting, and still manage to get into position to take a shot that almost killed Trump and did kill a spectator?

Seems easy to me. They met this unstable kid at the range. They knew a patsy to be groomed a mile away. Took a year to prep him then waited for the venue to take the shot. Then like magic comes a clear straight shot like they dreamed of. There were two Secret Service snipers teams on roof tops behind President Trump and the podium. The one you’re talking about did not have a clear view, there was a tree in between them and Crooks. That team never fired. The other Secret Service sniper team behind President Trump’s podium and to his left or south on the map is the team who took out Crooks.
