I’m not surprised, I’m just angry. According to Kevin Rojek, the head of the FBI’s Pittsburgh Field Office leading the investigation into the attempted assassination of President Trump, Matthew Crooks acted alone -no coconspirators- and the FBI has no idea what his motive was.
According to the representative for the “best men” the Federal Bureau of Investigation has, Crooks might have been a leftist or a far-right extremist, they are just not sure.
What the FBI does know is that no one taught or helped Crooks make complicated explosives, and they are sure he acted alone… for some mysterious reason…. that culminated in a bullet passing through the top of President Trump’s right ear.
The pretending that permeates the FBI is infuriating to me. It is almost difficult to write or share this stuff.
WASHINGTON – Six weeks after the assassination attempt against Donald Trump, the FBI still doesn’t know what motivated the shooter.
“Extensive analysis of the subject’s online search history as well as his specific online activity has provided us valuable insight into his mindset, but not a definitive motive,” Kevin Rojek, the head of the FBI’s Pittsburgh Field Office, told reporters Wednesday.
So far, he added, the FBI sees “no definitive ideology … either left-leaning or right-leaning” associated with the shooter, Thomas Crooks.
Rather, Crooks had “a sustained, detailed effort to plan an attack on some event” and considered multiple targets, according to Rojek. He became “hyper-focused” on Trump’s July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, after it was announced. Crooks fired eight shots at Trump from a rooftop that day, killing one person in the crowd, injuring two others and injuring Trump’s ear. Within seconds, a Secret Service sniper shot and killed Crooks.
There are no signs that Crooks had any co-conspirators or had links to foreign entities, officials said.
The FBI has accessed and analyzed material from encrypted email accounts he used, officials added.

But even if they are arrested, prosecuted, and punished that is not enough and will not solve the problem except perhaps for a very short time. We need an amendment with twelve year of federal employment cap. After twelve [12] years, or (for elected positions) at the next election following that, all federal employees should be ineligible for retainment, appointment, election, and/or holding any government position. No retirement, medical, separation, or other benefit to be paid after the termination of employment. All ‘life-time’ appointments end after the twelfth anniversary of appointment. [This would not only prevent the swamp from growing it would also prevent most federal employees from ever having the chance to get a federal retirement, destroying that special interest group and making federal employment less attractive to those not primarily motivated by the desire to truly serve their fellow citizens and their country.] Added bonus — drastic reduction in federal payroll and retirement expenses!
To avoid abuse of the use of ‘contractors’ who can become a sort of alternate federal bureaucracy perhaps a ban on any contract with federal involvement of longer than twelve years would also be advisable.
I suggest the same for each state.
The founders were very wise when they did NOT authorize a national police force. There was a time when justice was not politically twisted in this country.

Swat sniper. There is video of the guy taking the shot. He took the shot standing and he is a hero. Probably saved several people’s lives because his shot most likely disabled Crooks gun.
From the pics released today, the shot only damaged part of the collapsible stock close to the buttplate. The buffer tube appears undamaged. The damage depicted in the photos would not affect the operation of the rifle. I have operated and assembled these AR’s, so I am experienced in how they operate. The round fired would have to have penetrated the buffer tube to disable the gun. The photos show it is undamaged.

One of the very best author’s that writes about the criminal mind and it’s motives (I’ve read all of his books although out of sequence from when they were written in this last year) is Caleb Carr.
Dr. Laszlo Kreizler in “The Alienists” would have gone to the ends of the earth to save the body and the brain, re the likes of a character such as Crooks to examine his brain for some kind of disorder for what he has purportedly done.
Meanwhile, from what I have read, “someone” has hosed his blood off the building and cooked his body in a oven and reduced it to ashes. This is called, DESTROYING EVIDENCE. Of what I do not know.
I figure someone took a “Ray Gun to His Head.” Groomed him, stoked him with a mission in life. It’s those who did the grooming that need to be found out. Snort. Who is going to do that?
How was Crooks able to get all of his equipment together (explosives, gun, range finder, drone) and rehearse his movements in the short time that the Rally location was announced? Why was it scheduled to be held in that location (near Crooks home, DHS friendly gun range). Was the Rally location chosen because of this proximity? Was the person who picked this location, on Trump’s team, working with the FBI, DHS, HSI? He(they) wouldn’t have been able to pull this off at another location. Where did he get the explosives and detonator, isn’t that stuff traceable?
Someone on the Benny Show last week, forget who, went into some detail on possible psychoactive drugs that Crooks could have been fed by the handler(s).
All of them would have shown up on an autopsy.

Why did the FBI have Crooks’ body cremated? We live in an unjust Nation.

That summary sheet only lists the cause of death, which is the gunshot to his “face.” The shrapnel from the round that hit the plastic stock would not likely have contributed to his death, since a .30 caliber sniper bullet went through his brain a second or two later. So, the coroner would not have listed those neck injuries as the cause of death. There is no way to know where that bullet went after deflectlion by the stock impact. Since M-16 rounds were commonly deflected by jungle foliage in my experience, I doubt it went where you surmise it tracked after it blew out several inches of high impact plastic.

One last thought I find so revealing about this enemy we shun and allow. Does anyone think it odd or out of reason that we ignore our spirit?
