Therefore we request he be held in solitary, and his lawyers be under a gag order, and prohibited from making any comments about the case.

Some of us on here already lived through the time when entities within our government murdered one of our presidents, and we witnessed the FBI and others covering this up. It was an extremely painful and traumatizing time which forever changed the country. This heinous deed was unthinkable at the time and we didn’t fully realize what was going on. This is clearly designed to (a) draw attention away from monsters lurking in the weeds like the Tik-tok bill; (b) tie Trump up in legal knots to prevent him from campaigning effectively; (c) raise the issue of whether a convicted felon can even seek election to public office while appeals are in play. And there is a possible (d): a rules change by the RNC to prevent Trump from receiving delegate votes at the nominating convention. In this light, it would not surprise me at all if some states remove his name from primary ballots, and in the event that he is a candidate in the fall (Independent more likely than Republican) keep him off the election ballot as well.
The proper response to this is the convening of grand juries by Republican AG’s to generate indictments of James Biden, Hunter Biden, and any other members of the Biden family for whom there is sufficient evidence of criminal wrongdoing.
That’s a good summation of their strategy — attack Trump on multiple legal fronts in the expectation that he must spend much time and effort fighting legal battles and will be kept off the ballot in the key swing states.
As for Republican AG’s indicting James Biden, Hunter Biden, and any other members of the Biden family for whom there is sufficient evidence of criminal wrongdoing, it is probable the Biden crime family did its dirty work in states which they know would never be inclined to investigate their criminal activity.
Even though there is no legal or Constitutional prohibition on a Candidate for POTUS being under indictment, or even conviction, they will try to make the case, in the Court of public opinion, to keep his name off the ballot.
I guess they will say “write ins” on ballots, can not be read by machines, and will invalidate ballots with his name (and KL’s for VP!) written in.

When Bragg ran for DA, he bragged about how many cases he had brought against the Trump organization concerning fraudulent business practices. I believe behind the smoke screen, this DA and his office is going to resurrect some of his former allegations. It is implausible that a Grand Jury sits for months investigation a frivolous payoff. Personally, I believe Braff and his office have played the media and the public for fools but we’ll know come Tuesday. I just hope President Trump and his lawyers are ready for this.
