Kevin McCarthy is demanding the House Republicans give him his “precious,” an affectionate term for the speaker gavel that is in sight, but just out of reach. Meanwhile, the conservative caucus is not flinching. “It may not happen on the day we want it, but it’s going to happen,” McCarthy said late Tuesday night.

I agree with Sundance that there is no reforming the GOP. We need an America First party, but I think Trump is the person to lead that party. He should have done it in 2020 when the election was stolen. Maybe when they steal the primary in 2024, Trump will finally realize he needs to start a new party. Since he is currently running for president in 2024 as a Republican, he can’t do it right now.
This is what I feel about it: Sundance is willing to watch the RINO party burn to the ground. Trump is MAGA not RINO. Incrementally, MAGA is eliminating RINOs. We are taking some RINOs out at the local level and some RINOs out on the national level.

Among other things, I don’t get why someone “deserves” something that is not earned. Kevin has done nothing to earn the speakership; quite the opposite. Had he accomplished something in his last term, we should be told about it. Boehner, Ryan, Kevin—what a string of failure.
