We have to acknowledge the stupidity of those around us before we can decide how to resolve the immediate problem – are those folks important enough to us to try and educate them of the truth and fats? Or are they too stubborn and indoctrinated to be open to a different point of view that will include facts and truth?
We probably seem stupid to someone else because we don’t yet know truths that they know. If that concerns real and proven facts, then we need to learn more. But if they think we’re stupid because we don’t agree with their uninformed views, then shame on them.
Do we expend the effort to educate them or walk away? If their hearts are open to truth, an enlightenment might work. If they’re closed to truth, just walk away.

It was still born to begin with, the elites saw it as a means to unify Europe instead of the finishing touch on a unified Europe. Countries like Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal and France who previously would regularly devalue their currencies to remain competitive now had a strong currency backed by solid northern Europe countries becoming too expensive causing the outflow of their manufacturing base to, this sounds familiar, China and other countries with low labor costs.
I miss the Lira. Italy was an inexpensive place to visit until they adopted the Euro. I haven’t been there since 2007, but I remember the lower pricing, vis-à-vis other European countries, I observed in the 1980s was long gone.
