The entire funeral day for Queen Elizabeth II was filled with incredible tribute and depth. One of the most unforgettable days in history. However, that said, perhaps the most moving moment was at St. Georges Chapel in Windsor Castle, when Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin was lowered into the Royal Vault, bringing to an end public mourning for Britain’s longest-reigning monarch.
The sounds and images of the lone bagpipe growing ever dimmer as the coffin was lowered was really memorable. Then came the inflection point of the final farewell and the blessing and prayer upon new King Charles III, and the singing of God Save the King. A very moving tribute reflecting the intensity of the day for the British people. WATCH:
.
Do believe that the pressure was more that just the weight of the coffin. Remember they too had feelings for their Queen and commander.
Queen Elizabeth was only current military commander who served in WWII until her death.
Don’t know why some ppl feel a need to look for something negative to say about another be it real or imagined and throw cheap shots at a time like this. Why be judgmental.
Harry wasn’t having a dental exam for goodness sake probably whispering and besides it’s none of anyone’s business. Good grief…get involved in your own life you old turkey (hahaha haven’t heard that in like forever)
In grief, I, as a singer, have been shocked into silence…wanting to sing, yet not being able to get a note out.
Holding back tears and singing are hard to do at the same time.
His and the wife’s treatment of her over the last couple of years has earned the (deserved) extra scrutiny. Haz also has a history of thinking he is above rules, hence the extra scrutiny. And lastly, he & the wife demand others treat them according to their rules, hence the hypocrisy and extra scrutiny.
Town&Country put together a wonderful compilation in the event someone wants to hold on to it for posterity.

nwtex, I have a collection of Town and Country from the late 50’s and early 60’s. They are exquisite!!!
Probably the main reason I wanted to be an interior architect!!!!
TY for the link!
YW WSB 🙂 T&C sure could turn one’s thoughts in that direction, huh.
You did follow that path didn’t you?
As I recall you were at work in a bldg in NYC on 9-11 and had to take that long walk home. Gosh gives me chills.
Yes, indeed. But not as bad as many others.
An incredible, emotional spectacle for the ages!
Poor little one 🙁
In case we forget, during the shut down, this was Philip’s funeral…and the Queen by herself…
It’s been more than 3 days since the Queen’s passing and still no resurrection. I guess I won’t be worshiping the Royal Family afterall…in spite of the media.
Indeed; did you see the black & white freemasonry flooring in the chapel along with order of the royal garter comments that is enough info for me to know who they are.
I saw the man who broke the stick MAKE SURE he only stepped on white squares when he went to the coffin and back. PS—Anybody who thinks WEF King Charles is on the side of the USA & we still have our “special relationship” is delusional. Ask Soros hand-shaker Privy Council member Malloch-Brown how that 2020 election in America went.
I cannot understand why the reverence displayed here for one of the longest and greatest symbols of elitism, militarism, and raw power, one which this very country fought against to attain its freedom has so much traction on this brilliant website devoted to taking down such elitism in the name of We The People. That said, I do not begrudge the now dead monarch for her years of service to her country or fault her for the position she was born into.
My thoughts exactly and articulately expressed Donzo.
I’m bewildered that SD has included this as one of his articles & even more so by the adoration of this system shown by Treehouse members.
The queen’s husband & son both believe in culling the human population. Think about that for a while.
They didn’t just bury Queen Elizabeth, they buried England. And I think that was a big part of the grief the English people felt. Her like and her day shall never come again.
Beverly, I feel your understanding, emotion and concern. I have the same.
i am so sorry.
May God bless…
Bob Morans political cartoon illustrates perfectly the priorities of all those obsessed with this spectacle. Shame!
