During a press conference today, in South Florida on environmental issues, Governor DeSantis delivered remarks about his response to a recent surge in COVID positive testing, while recommitting to keeping Florida a free and open state. As DeSantis notes, the federal mitigation efforts have failed on multiple fronts to stem COVID-19 while simultaneously punishing people; he will not participate in any intervention that provides no benefit and has no basis in science. The attacks against Florida and Texas will not diminish as long as the Biden administration need to weaponize COVID fear for their political purposes. Texas and Florida remaining free, fearless and functioning is against the interests of the White House.
As Barack Obama’s campaign manager and lead political advisor David Plouffe admitted recently, Democrats need massive mail-in ballots and fraud again if they are going to avoid getting wiped out in the 2022 election. 1. I was recently hired at a new company. Everyone was mask crazy. I started to bend the rules and avoid masking. A fellow employee declared last week in victorious yell that it was mask free Thursday.
2. Went to Bass Pro l. Out door line up to get in. Everyone behind us that could see my buddy and I and our kids with no mask pulled theirs off. Everyone from us to the front of the store wearing a mask because they weren’t looking towards us.
3. I walked into pharmacy. Lady working there didn’t have mask. I immediately felt free to pull mine off. Together we talked about how silly it was. I asked if people commented on it. She said most of the pushback was from the men. Many did feel empowered by her actions.
A man watched us and went unhinged on me in parking lot because I wasn’t masked up. We can’t win all of them over but leading by example is a sure way to start.

As a Floridian I would like to express how proud I am of Governor DeSantis. Like our most distinguished resident President Donald Trump this man has true leadership capabilities and is not afraid to take the platform and send the message to the citizens. We have far greater destructive battles in our state to fight than the Wuhan China flu. Among them we are being overrun by people fleeing blue states, hurricanes, poison snakes, alligators, sink holes, deathly heat and humidity and of course our shark infested waters. friend of mine, a well known anesthesiologist..got covid positive (twice jabbed 3 months ago)…barely any symptoms..age 68…not in perfect health…had to take off work for 19 days and follow CDC guidelines in order to return to work and see patients, which meant taking two covid tests 2 days apart at end of 10 day isolation at home…both came back positive, so it’s another 10 days!!

she can go to hospital…no restrictions…etc…free to live normally!!

now he’s been a vaccine advocate…bought into mRNA long ago..and all the masks and mitigations..
.but NOW that he is starting to feel the consequences of this ridiculous abuse of science…
it’s not surprising so many people support stupid ideas without really questioning the benefits versus the effects, until they face the hardships imposed on dumb policy.
asked him this morning where he stands on this now.
“I was wrong…this has gone too far…it’s caused people myself included in the health industry to not trust our own institutions”
asked him to contact the state health officials and open some channels and get informed feedback and call for a more focused and sensible set of guidelines…
for everyone.
he’s in a unique position within the community (well respected and known) and a 34 year medical professional to suggest better ideas.
his answer to that:
no one in the medical field is pushing back…not here.
it appears the people best suited to make good informed feedback to state officials are just too scared of being singled out and hurt their careers.
so it goes with state edicts at this scale..it causes fear and immobilizes lots of people.

Anyone getting around to asking the Biden fake administration if the increase cases could and probably is all the illegals they are bringing into the country, spreading them as China did before, with covid? Seems everyone is forgetting that we are again being attacked by the pandemic only this time through the border. You want to stop the spread? Then stop the spreaders? Not Americans. The congress gop need to launch investigation on why Florida and TX are having so many positive tests. The left hates TX and Florida and anyone with a brain knows why.
