After I posed the question, I went to look for the schedule. I had remembered that at one point the Defense team had wanted a break from Friday at 5 until Sunday…..I was right, but they later pulled that request.
What I found is this: 4 hours for Senator questions, which probably ends tonite.
Then tomorrow, 2 hours each for summation, followed by the vote.
My fearless prediction: needing 17 GOP votes to convict [assuming all Dems do], there will be no more than 8 GOP RINOs voting to convict. In addition to the usual suspects Collins, Romney, Murkowski, Sasse, and Toomey, I think that 2 or 3 more tools will join in.
Didn’t the Dem senator from AZ say she wouldn’t vote for impeachment? What about Manchin?
If Schumer knows that he doesn’t have 67 votes, he might “allow” Manchin to vote not guilty, to preserve the fiction that Manchin is “principled”.

I was just thinking: don’t put it past Mitch to approach Schumer with a deal. They might work something out that allows a whole bunch of GOP to vote POTUS guilty of “incitement” but they might agree that this was not an actual Senate trial. Therefore, they might work out a deal to censure his behavior and suggest he never again run for office.
Remember, a lot of those GOP are itching to get back at POTUS for telling crowds they are WEAK.
If such a deal is made, it will have to be in a completely separate action and not part of this unconstitutional impeachment trial.
Any GOPe Senator is already going to be primaried. This will just add more proof.

Then they did a hit piece on Pres. Trump’s finances, gleefully talking about loss of income at his properties, that he may be forced into selling some of his assets, etc.
