Sidney Powell Discusses Today’s Flynn Persecution Hearing With Lou Dobbs – Where is this going, and why are we in a handbasket?…

The hearing today in the courtroom of Judge Emmet Sullivan was an abject showcase in judicial nuttery.  The one good thing to come out of the adversarial arguments was that millions more Americans got to hear first-hand just how broken and corrupt the federal system of the judiciary has become.  The judicial farce was only exceeded by the legal nonsense exhibited by Sullivan’s extra-judicial prosecutor/amicus John Gleeson.

At one point in the proceedings Sullivan even threatened Flynn’s defense attorney with a referral to the BAR association for her letter of introduction to AG Bill Barr during the transition between defense counsel.  Yes, the judicial activism was that ridiculous.

Yes Alice, unfortunately the fiasco is scheduled to continue… Sidney Powell discusses the day’s events with Lou Dobbs:

Sullivan’s end game is simple. He wanted an excuse to sentence Flynn. Which he will. Sidney will appeal to either the appellate or Supreme Court. They wont be able to take it up and resolve until after November 3. Flynn’s case will be dismissed on appeal. But the resistance will get another October surprise win because the headlines will read- “Flynn sentenced for role in Russia case”. Thats the narrative they want. Aftet the election—“Trump pardons convicted General Flynn”. Democrats pursue charges of obstruction against trump for quid pro quo.

IMO, the coupling of SD’s commentaries and my own intuition have made clearly obvious to me the ultimate victory for the DS in Sullivan’s courtroom. Angst is fruitless unless the SCOTUS completes the legal assassination of Gen. Flynn.

Makes perfect sense. Except the Do”J” dropped the case. In a sane world that’s all she wrote.

Not as clear cut a narrative for the dems. All the few ethical reporters and PT admin have to do is point out the judge is a nut case. Possibly as confused as biden. He has comprehension issues. He can’t keep up. The case was dropped. He’s out there someplace, flailing.

They may get a headline or two but I don’t think it will help them much. Plus, the DNI is exposing the whole scam.

I would only add that the Congress once again shows us their abject lack of courage. They should be investigating this weirdo judge.

I’m even more convinced after the arguments today
the DOJ will file their own Writ of Mandamus if Sullivan denies.

That they didn’t was a significant reason why the Appellate court threw it back to Sullivan.
The DOJ made no claim of “harm”.
Sullivan denial would be that harm.

WHICH means that Sullivan will be on the pike!!!! BAD place to be…WHEN the DOJ attorney said they were not prosecuting that should have ENDED ALL arguments right there and judgement made right then and there…KVS…what would be Sullivan’s END GAME here at this time???

NOTE: NOT an attorney but stuff like this interests me and how people, esp. the court system think…

If we’re playing the “Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda” game….
All arguments should have ended when the DOJ filed the Motion to Dismiss in MAY.
Unfortunately, Sullivan has put us in Wonderland.

I’ve heard many arguments about what is Sullivan’s motive or endgame.
I do not believe this has anything to do with “keeping Flynn quiet because he knows where all the bodies are buried” theory.

I think this is something much simpler:
              Thematically:
              Protecting Mueller’s Investigation.
After all the Trump/Russia collusion and Mueller buildup…….there was never anything to any of it.
              Think about it…..
FLYNN was Mueller’s biggest and arguably ONLY “success”. Nothing else he did was of any significance at all in comparison.
I think this is the VERY reason Mueller decided to prosecute him while the DOJ declined to do so MONTHS EARLIER.
Take away Flynn and you take away his ONLY TROPHY.
Now with all that has come out and will continue to…..the optics of having FLYNN completely exonerated is something they cannot abide….especially before the election.

IMO Sullivan’s endgame is to delay the inevitable until after the election.
So if I were to bet right now….
barring some other additional intervening delaying tactics…
I’d put my money on Sullivan taking another couple of weeks then DENYING the motion.
That most certainly would delay this past Nov 3.
I see no indication of any embarrassment on his part if the Appellate Court would reverse him.

I’m damn sick of it as well. But I just ran across an article at Breitbart (wish I had the foresight to have copied the URL) that told of a meeting Sidney had with the President where she briefed him on the case and asked him to not get involved, to let it play out.

I think she knew these revelations were gonna come out, bit by bit (mebbie she was briefed, in turn, by Rick Grenel or someone with his sort of access? Mebbie PDJT himself?) and Gen. Flynn was OK with standing at the foot of the gallows steps (as it were) as a continued service to our great country.

In any case, if all else fails, Sidney has said publicly she would take the to SCOUTS.

With ACB on the bench would that not be glorious?!?

Yes it is evil, and the really sickening thing is that damn near EVERYONE in DC approves of the evil Sullivan is inflicting on General Flynn.

Do we want this insanity to stop? Do we want to defeat this evil? Then, unfortunately, it will take another kind of evil. It will take a level of merciless cruelty and barbarity that is seen only in the most despotic countries. But THAT is all the left, the Deep State and the establishment which are supporting Sullivan understand. It is the coin of their realm.

Thus, we must give them all they want….and then a little bit more.

            @ YvonneMarie…

You’re welcome to your opinion about how JFK became president; and, as far as I’m concerned, you have every right to express it here the same as I have the right to express my own opinion here.
I never said JFK was vile or stupid.
I never mentioned the Bay of Pigs fiasco; and, I happen to agree that JFK was most likely set up regarding it.
I never mentioned his war record.
I agree that his assassination was a grave tragedy for America as were the assassinations of other US presidents; and, I believe the truth thereof has not yet been revealed.
I never mentioned his mother; and, I certainly never used any sort of rude or crude language in my comment. But, you did mention all those things that are totally unrelated to my comment and you were both rude and crude in your reply to me. That says a lot more about you than it does about me.

As for JFK’s status as a president, he was better than some and worse than some; but, he was never a great president. He was made a martyr after his assassination by at least some the same people (along with the media) you point out as having set him up regarding the Bay of Pigs. THAT was part of their effort to cover up and distract attention away from their crimes and corruption. If you were really as smart and/or informed as you apparently like to think you are, you might be able to understand that.

you are wrong. JFK WAS indeed one of the great presidents. yes there were scandals. yes definitely family money that placed him.

the number one reason why JFK was one of the great presidents was that he was boldly optimistic. he dared people to.think big. he truly believed in the higher dreams of human kind…he was a respectable patriot in every single way and won respect with his service to this country with many well deserved decorations of valor.

JFK would have likeky ushered in a much faster end to the cold war..he understood ultimately military power does not solve all disputes. but was never afraid of getting dirty to spoil an adversary.

he was very popular…he was young and energetic and likable by many.. because he was respectable.

and yes he delivered incredibly powerful speeches…but also delivered on the message.

he was capable of walking the Potomac two step but also getting the nation’s business done.

he was a little before my time, but i remember little boy watching the excitement of my own family listening to him and being proud and patriotic.

it was probably the last president who was able to bring a country together and respect some basic mutual interests.

the imagination wonders what this country might have been had he been allowed to deliver more of his goals.

              maybe i have rosey glasses.

maybe that’s the point of excellent leadership.

optimism… you catch a case of it…and pretty soon things just start becoming better.

Maybe that’s it. Obama took DC’s soft socialism to the next step–Chicago-style corruption, where the agencies wield intel against individuals to gain cooperation, and strategically-headed bureaucracies produce policy.

Against that government Hydra… if a conservative judge makes a Constitutional ruling, who’s going to enforce it?

This is why I think the uniparty didnt push to fill the Supreme Court vacancy in Obamas last year. Again, Clinton wanted to sell the seat.

Now eyes are wide on the corruption of our court system and judges. The corruption is everywhere! How many Dictrict and Circut judges are like Sullivan? This corruption isnt only from uniparty appointees. Its in small and large cities everywhere.

I just hope and pray people are paying attention to who is running for Mayor and who are running for Judge. Do people who run for Judge even have campaigns? I have searched on Ballotpedia and most have no information. This is scary. My apologies if this is a dumb question but how do we find out about their rulings and cases? We all should no longer accept not being told. Judges should not be affiliated with any political party yet they are. With how many bad Bush judges there are you cannot accept because they are Republicans they will uphold the constitution.

Ok I am done with my rant! Fear not soldiers of God. In our darkest hour we will find light at the end of the tunnel. Take solace in knowing we are the majority. Barr appointed Jensen who is the reason Flynn has all the exculpatory evidence he has.

Still waiting for Sullivan HIMSELF to hold Van Grack in contempt (which he clearly won’t)

Sullivan is just like a health insurer company that denies authorization for a needed CT or MRI for a patient despite the clearly-spelled out indications on the ordering physician’s clinic and order notes. The Physician then has to waste whatever time they had for lunch to call the insurance company’s “Peer-to-Peer” line and (after going through the same demographic ID info with 2 different insurance nurses for 20 minutes) talk with their doctor on appeal. Oftentimes, the insurance doctor is NOT of the same specialty. The physician then reads VERBATIM his indications for the test and the insurance doctor then says “ok, I will give you authorization”; you know this whole waste of time charade was BS because the insurance doctor DID NOT EVEN READ the notes the FIRST TIME!!! Judge Sullivan has no idea what karma is coming for him for his total jerk behavior. At this high level of court hierarchy, this unprofessional behavior would get you disbarred and hopefully he will lose his pension. It’s not like he has not had time to read the pertinent Court materials. It is his only case at this time.

HUH? Your comment makes no sense at all. Sullivan has a guilty plea from Flynn and wants to proceed to sentence. For Flynn (Powell) to “withdraw” from all proceedings at this point is to abandon the contest. Anyway, the current issue is primarily between DOJ and Sullivan, since DOJ wants to drop the case and Sullivan is desperately trying to keep it going.

You would advise me to continue to pretend that this judge is due my respect and obedience? Paul, you’re fired.

I think that you are suggesting that Flynn and his counsel just stop showing up in the court, as it has shown that it is not following any legitimate legal process and is performing as an extrajudicial prosecution court not bound by any laws recognized in the USA.

Then when judge sullivan orders General Flynn’s arrest for not showing up in court, you deal with it like they would in any 3rd world banana republic. (You get your own police force to fight judge sullivan’s police force, or something like that).

Unless Judge Sullied commits a federal crime A.G. Barr has no authority or jurisdiction to arrest him.

IMHO Sullied is guilty of bias, judicial malpractice, and all sorts of procedural violations but he is in the Judicial Branch, not the Executive.

Sullied could be impeached and removed but that, like the impeachment of a President, requires a procedure in the House, a vote of a simple majority, followed by a hearing in the Senate and a vote of 2/3rds of those present.

So unless the higher court intervenes, Sullied can continue to sully the process.

The way to get the bad judge to bring things to a close is to make it increasingly uncomfortable to continue the charade. If each time Sidney comes back to court, more and more damning evidence is brought into the open, the judge may finally stop proceedings. If the judge dismisses as requested, all is well. If the judge concludes the case in any other way, then Flynn will appeal and win on appeal.

The DOJ could help as well by bringing more and more wrongdoing to the light of day, each and every time the bad judge continues the charade.

People do not understand the legal system. You don’t get to “just go to SCOTUS” unless all previous options have been exhausted AND the Supreme Court agrees to hear the case. As long as it is still between Judge Sullivan and the Court of Appeals (which has sent it back to Sullivan) there is no option to “just go to SCOTUS”….

Under a petition for mandamus, the case stays in the trial court. The appeals court, if it issues a writ of mandamus, is ordering the trial court what to do with the case.
Appeal, on the other hand, the case itself, the entire record, that goes to the appeals court. And as you point out, the appellate court usually sends the case back to the trial court with instructions.
Sullivan’s rationale for waiting til now to hold the hearing doesn’t hold water. He’s dragging things out as long as he can, and by golly he is going to defend every decision he makes. Not a good judge, but then, “law is hard.”

Aside from Delta Force doing the right thing, or God Almighty having a burning bush moment with Sullivan, nothing will happen to change how this charade plays out.

1). Trump HAS to win in order to keep this on the path to dismissal–which will happen eventually. Sullivan is using time and the benefit of this being tossed back to him to stall for as long as possible. If Trump wins, the clock no longer matters and Sullivan loses. Once it gets to SCOTUS, Flynn wins. Period.

Sullivan can not under any circumstance dismiss case with Prejudice. That opens all the traitors and persecutors of General Flynn culpable under the law. They are holding out hope Biden wins and President Trump has to pardon the General, and also stop all production of damming evidence.
In case of wrong doing by government officials that openly conspired to persecute an American citizen and attempt to throw him in jail with fabricated evidence I would think and also pray, (I am no lawyer)

    1. If illegal activity lead to his rights being denied under color of law, the government can not claim nor the traitors, immunity for prosecution and loss of rights.

    2. Any professional insurance will not cover an individual for willful breaking of the law, and it results in harm to a person. So basically what they own is about to belong to General Flynn.

    3. The list of traitors is growing by the day. So is General Flynn payday. Just think of all the discovery from General Flynn case. Sidney Powell would need an army of lawyers to go after these people.

Under no circumstances can Sullivan dismiss with Prejudice. That nice home Obama owns might go up for sale for his legal bills. The irony would be off the scale.
