Sidney Powell Discusses Explosive New Texts and Documents With Lou Dobbs – Corrupt FBI Officials Even Purchased Professional Liability Insurance…

Michael Flynn defense attorney, Sidney Powell, calls-in to Lou Dobbs to discuss the explosive new evidence released to her by the DOJ.

In an update to briefings before the court Sidney Powell released today a set of previously hidden text messages within the FBI investigative unit highlighting the fraudulent and corrupt premise behind the targeting of her client [pdf link]. The documents are also embedded below.

Ms. Powell discusses the stunning nature of the release and how the texts and documents show a targeted effort against candidate Trump, President-elect Trump, President Trump and her client Michael Flynn who was the incoming National Security Advisor. This release is perhaps the most damning so far.  WATCH:

.

The corrupt units within the FBI and CIA even went so far as to purchase professional liability insurance after the election because they knew their prior activity could lead to criminal, civil and financial lawsuits. A stunning internal admission.

I would be remiss if I did not remind everyone the DOJ (Barr and Durham) asked the FISA court for guidance in sharing classified and corrupt FISA associated information with litigants in civil (and criminal proceedings).   Ergo, given the nature of their activity this insurance issue by the corrupt officials has some substantive context for legal exposure.

Here’s the FULL RELEASE:

I will have more on this issue later.  There is a lot to unpack.

Share your review in the comments, thanks.

Not familiar with professional liability insurance but if the agents misrepresented their potential need for the policy to the insurance company when purchasing (I’m assuming they had to state something on the application) wouldn’t the insurance company have reason to not honor the policy given the agents admission in the texts and knowledge that what they were doing was wrong?

Insurance companies are pretty good at protecting themselves. You cannot buy insurance for a time period before the policy date that I am aware of. So the thing that gets me on purchasing insurance is that they are contemplating doing naughty things prior to purchasing the purchasing the policy. As in premeditated. That could be devastating in a court of law.

Depends on the kind of policy. If it is coverage for claims actually made during the period for which you are insured, it will cover past acts as long as you have fully disclosed any potential actions that you are aware of at the time of application, and then you might not get covered if the company decides the potential liability is too high for anything you disclosed. Of course if you know of a past act that might create liability but fail to disclose it, you get no coverage because you obtained the policy by lying, and you might be liable for insurance fraud and maybe? wire fraud?

This sounds like the basis for an SNL or Monty Python skit. Intel guys calling an insurance agent, and asking, “Does it cover treason — or just sedition? Do I need extra coverage if I acted alone, versus acting as part of a coup? What if I did it on company time — can I write this off as a work expense?”

I wonder if the insurors will stiff these idiots for buying insurance AFTER they knew they had an insurable exposure, yet not disclosing their exposure when they bought the policies. Sounds a little fraudulent to me, to be honest with you all.

They are perpetrating fraud upon the insurer.
It isn’t that they are buying insurance against some future, unknown, civil action against them. They full well know and expect to be sued for their knowing actions prior to obtaining insurance. This is full on fraud.
The Insurer ought to file suit against everyone from that time frame who attempted to defraud the insurer, and cancel any coverage against any insured who colluded to defraud the insurer.
I’d be making this insurance fraud as public as possible, then let the chips fall.

This scandal may be bigger than ALL previous American corruption scandals combined! These crooked @$$h@t$ at the F.B. of Illegality and the Dept. Of Injustice may be responsible for the destruction of the very institutions they worked for! Considering the level of corruption on display I no longer believe the FIBs can be reformed! It needs to be burned to the ground, preferably with Wray still inside, and a new investigative force should be built based around the US Marshals Service! At least they seem to take their oaths seriously; I haven’t seen ONE FIB that does!
The DOJ might possibly survive with huge reforms and safeguards added, but they’re going to have to spend years going back and looking at past cases to determine if there was misfeasance or malfeasance on the part of the prosecutors! There will be defense attorneys lined up around the block to get a shot at the govt deep pockets in wrongful conviction suits! I imagine that’s why Barr is moving so slowly; he’s trying to defuse a gigantic bomb that could go off at any moment and take him and his beloved institutions with it! What a mess!

I hear you. This is the first news story where I have ever had to use an EXCEL SPREADSHEET to keep track of it all. It got so complicated about a year ago, I just began entering stuff by date and by person. It was either that or stop reading. Now the spreadsheet has morphed into a monster. But it has been super valuable, because I have even caught the experts out (like Dan Bongino or Rudy Giuliani) for flubbing dates, people and facts. But it has been a great help in updating those in my circle, who pretty much count on me to update them and explain things. And I never planned on doing this, it just materialized as I struggled along. And it is amazing, as I, an “ordinary citizen”, have to do this and not a single legacy media outlet will report any of it. The Watergate Era of Woodward & Bernstein is dead, where students wanted to get into journalism to uncover injustice and report the truth. Now you get into journalism to cover for injustice and criminals. I could not imagine a more pathetic, depressing and soul crushing career. What a waste of a life. (sigh)

Not sure if it also covered legal fees if we were criminally charged for something related to our job. So I’m guessing these agents may have worried about being sued or criminally charged.

Typically, professional liability insurance will not cover illegal activity, or even grossly negligent, intentional activity. They would have to show that what they did was a legitimate function of their employment duties. At least in the corporate world where I reside, legal fees or fines incurred, say, by a corrupt CFO who fraudulently diverted corp funds to his brother-in-law’s consulting company, would not be reimbursable from D&O insurance. Sometimes, in those situations we have negotiated with the miscreant to get him to provide evidence against other co-embezzlers in exchange for invoking coverage for him.

The longer Judge Sullivan refuses to dismiss, more info will be released by the DOJ.

The DOJ had a darn good reason to request dismissal. The FBI agents knew what they were doing was crooked. They even bought professional liability insurance. How I would love to see Lin Wood take on General Flynn as a client when this is over.

BTW, professional liability policies typically require the insured to disclose any pending claims or incidents that might lead to claims. The emails will be used by the insurance companies to deny any professional liability defense for these crooked FBI agents. The crooked FBI agents knew that potential claims were out there but didn’t disclose those facts to the insurance company.

The Republic and the rule of law IMO hinge on Barr bringing indictments and justice.
