The Anger Games – Friday Night Riots – Open Discussion Thread

The riots, arson, looting and related violence has spread from Minneapolis Minnesota to several urban areas around the nation.  From ground reports it appears Antifa groups have organized and infiltrated activist and protest groups in Minneapolis and beyond.

Democrat strongholds in Atlanta (GA), Washington DC, Houston (TX), New York City (NY), Los Angeles (CA), and other deep blue metropolitan areas are now seeing organized riots, anti-police violence and chaos.

Many people are calling for federal intervention; however, that type of confrontation is the intended goal of the social anarchy crowd.  The leftist chaos is purposeful bait.

Politically speaking, the merging of Antifa (revolution communists) & Black Lives Matter (sub-text political Islam), has a purposeful agenda unknown to the standard brick thrower. Suburban white liberals, essentially modern affiliates of the former Bill Ayers Weather Underground, are the organizing entities.  Most of the people on the street are oblivious.

Local authorities in/around the urban danger zones have the primary responsibility to maintain domestic tranquility.  Federal intervention to replace local political ineptitude, and lack of desire to confront a crisis of their own creation, is short-sighted.

If local officials and/or state governors are not going to take action; factually they do not want to take action because they are fearful of backlash from their own tribe; then federal assistance doesn’t work.  It is better for President Trump to watch from a distance and keep reminding the U.S. electorate how he supports, but will not replace, local officials.

The 2020 Anger Games were predictable.

Occupy Wall Street 2011 or Antifa 2020 same/same

I’m wondering what will happen if we have a REAL confrontation, where cops/Guard respond with deadly force. I mean if the Antifa/BLM attackers go too far and are met with something they weren’t counting on. Not just one or two of the scumbags taken out… but dozens… maybe hundreds. What would the reaction be? If this was during the Vietnam era, any such attacks on protesters would have just brought exponentially more people into the streets.

But now? Hmm… in my opinion, the “protesters”/rioters would get little to no reinforcements. Once the hardcore Antifa and BLM types got some of their own medicine, new recruits would be hard to find. And the average American sitting at home watching on TV? During the Police Riots of the ’68 Convention, most people watching understood that the gov’t was very much in the wrong. But now? Well… in my opinion, I think Antifa and BLM (and their MSM apologists) would quickly come to the realization that the vast majority of Americans do not support them, and actually WANT them to be taken out!

Don’t doubt for a minute that the big money behind antif$$k is salivating over the possibility of another Kent State moment. Trouble is, times have changed, idealism is dead, and, as somebody once said, “History doesn’t always repeat, but it often rhymes.” Twain doesn’t get the definitive citation on that thought.

jello, it’s hard to get my head around it but this is some level of civil war.

Institutions are not trusted or referenced with any effectiveness, law and order is (apparently) not sustainable, and the so-called leaders are hapless and helpless. Communications at all levels are infected with manipulation and deception to the point where it’s difficult to extract what is actually so.

      Such rot. Such chaos.

This is what Obama and the Deep State wanted! More confusion, distrust, mass mobs and race baiting to the extreme. This with the combination of the Covid lockdowns have sewn the seeds of mass lawlessness. Every citizen who believes in the rule of law better be prepared to defend themselves because the “police state” which locked up and arrested mothers, surfers, church goers, hair stylists and gym owners will not defend you now. They will back down and lay low and the the mob do what they want! I pray for our country. Sidenote: this took the attention away from Obamagate.

Smug look of that cop? Yep sometimes. Other times his facial expressions looked – dissociated, I think the word is. He kept sticking his fingers into his pants pocket too. Either for balance, or his hand seeks his power-section for coping with anxiety.

The ME said he was not asphyxiated.
          He died of heart attack..
He was also extremely intoxicated .
He stated he could not breathe and collapsed.
The officers thought he was suffering delerium and kept him on his stomach .
The officer was not cutting off his air supply ,he was breathing he was screaming.
Officers are trained in the knee position ,they do not put weight on they merely.prevent movement. They balance the weight.
If he was truly putting weight on his neck ,he would not have spoken or very little and he would pass out in about 30 seconds.
The only time weight is applied is in a takedown struggle
In other words it looks a whole lot worse that it is..

  12. Ragle Gumm says:

Thank you, Sundance, for saying what I have been thinking. This is planned, organized, and executed by the left to induce a misstep by Trump, specifically. All of this — everything — is political and designed for the elections.
There are women, children, the old, and infirmed in there. The cops and national guards should be crushing these criminals and halting the riots. That reaper flying overhead should be monitoring the phone calls and trying to figure out the organizers and stop them. These organizers should be arrested very violently and have their ties to the left proven and shown to the world. Just like the Flynn transcripts, show how this happened; reveal the organization behind the rioting. I can just see Pelosi watching the video feeds with a plastic smile in that plastic face.
I will tell you what. The chinese government is getting theirs moneys worth from the left. I guess that they will now wait just a little bit more to see what happens with the Anger Games.
Lastly, the media is the enemy of the American people. They are a part of this destruction because they shape the lies with their narrative.
Trump will win by a landslide this November. G-d bless America!!!

        • Sharon says:

The black civic and religious leaders in Portland, OR are going one better than that: they are simultaneously blaming and excoriating the rioters AND playing victim! Must be dizzying!

A black pastor said this morning, during Mayor Ted Wheeler’s press conference…after disapproving of the rioting and damage, “For those who were deeply frightened by last night’s events, NOW YOU KNOW HOW WE FEEL ALL THE TIME.”

He also said he was [I’m not quoting word for word but this is what he said…..] “standing up for the police department, because when they are right, I will defend them; when they are wrong I will expose them. Some people are saying the police were late, and too slow to show up last night. The reason they were not there earlier is because we [black leaders] met with them some months back and asked them not to show up at protests, because ‘it just tended to trigger people’….so they were slow in responding last night because we asked them not to show up…”

So he just told the whole world that black leaders have taken over management of law enforcement responses to public threats. Nice.

  13. Magabear says:

Van Jones (of all people), summed things up correctly in saying that white, liberal Hillary supporters are the biggest enemy in all this. They aid and abet these protests, as seen by all the white college age kids mulling around the streets where the riots are taking place. And they’re fine with these riots……as long as they don’t take place in their suburban neighborhoods.

One thing law enforcement better realize is that those small business owners who they’ve been issuing citations to for trying to reopen their businesses are not their enemy. If LE alienates those folks, they’ll be on their own in these confrontations with the Antifa/BLM crowds.

Note to Embattled Police across the USA. Justice can be served later if you wish to:

During the Stanley Cup Riots in Vancouver in June 2011 when the Boston Bruins trashed the Canucks in the final blowout 7th game, some Canadians went berserk. Many stores were looted, police and other cars burned, windows smashed etc. A few fans with Boston jerseys were beaten and knocked unconscious. Even calling in officers from the nearest RCMP detachments was not enough. The police were powerless to stop it.

But the VPD were busy taking clear pictures of the looters as they left the stores with stolen goods and arsonists when they lit their fires. A large Task Force gathered news videos and asked for pictures from the general public later.

    After several months of investigating;
300 rioters were charged and 293 people were sentenced to various crimes. Several went to jail. Their faces were shown to the public and some were young university dopes that got carried away but paid a hefty price later. There have been no further riots since then.

Read my post above. The police are a very small segment of the population and it doesn’t take that many law breakers to overpower them.

When riots reach this level of organized widespread violence, it would take a very violent and comprehensive response back from the police to stop it. Tear gas and rubber bullets will move a crowd but not necessarily stop it. In order to take down one violent man, the police have to use a greater force of violence to contain him if he is out of control.

Given the riots were allegedly caused by the disturbing death of one black man the idea of adding numerous more strewn dead carcasses to the streets of major cities in the USA does not seem like a great option for those having to violently oppose the mobs. Police can do it to a point but then a brutal line has to be crossed to contain larger mobs. The Chi Coms don’t have this “problem” and we see a snippet of the bloody results on social media. ie eyes obliterated, bones smashed, blood gushing and dead bodies..

George Floyd is rapidly becoming a memory…….no one will remember him except for the nights the animals went crazy………yep I said it……animals……..this is all orchestrated hysteria and violence…..lets see what Mayor Turner and that sweet little Judge Hidalgo do to protect the city and its residents.

I see the white cop has had the “implicit bias” and de-escalation training that many leftist law enforcement departments have been using. Can’t appear to be racist. Black cop says (blank) that and stops the threat.

You’re not a punching bag. Use the force necessary to stop the threat.

      Good night Irene is right!

I want to see her lawyer defend that dumbass decision to punch a cop who had not struck her…..and then punched him again!

And she was decked by a big black cop who had seen but let the first smack go unanswered….trying to be tolerant..

Some people like that cow are truly disadvantaged…. in the I.Q. department.

“The Washington, D.C., riots of 1968 were a four-day period of civic uprising following the assassination of civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. on April 4, 1968. Part of the broader King-assassination riots that affected at least 110 U.S. cities, those in Washington, D.C.—along with those in Chicago and Baltimore—were among those with the greatest numbers of participants.

    Military intervention (in Washington DC)
On Friday, April 5, (1968) President Johnson [Democrat] dispatched 11,850 federal troops and 1,750 D.C. Army National Guardsmen to assist the overwhelmed D.C. police force. Marines mounted machine guns on the steps of the Capitol and Army soldiers from the 3rd Infantry Regiment guarded the White House. The 2nd Brigade Combat Team of the 82nd Airborne Division from Fort Bragg, North Carolina and 6th Cavalry Regiment from Fort Meade, Maryland were among the principal federal forces sent to the city. At one point, on April 5, rioting reached within two blocks of the White House before rioters retreated. The occupation of Washington was the largest of any American city since the Civil War.”

Of course, LBJ was a democrat so he could do what needed to be done without democrats screaming bloody murder.

I was sitting in a lecture hall in downtown D.C. with the constant sound of police and fire sirens and the smell of smoke in the air. Was lucky to be able to drive home through the chaos before the city entirely shut down. A few days later, soldiers were everywhere and M-60 machine gun positions were along Penn. Ave. Wife and I went to the movies when things quieted down but still had to walk around an armored personnel carrier and a squad of soldiers in front of the theater. The 1960s !!!!!!!

What i’m impressed with with is…I actually think the President was successful is neutering Al Sharpton. The man thrives on the typical republican response of immediately supporting the police.
This time they were way ahead of him…. And the DOJ and FBI was down there pronto…..

I’ve been joking over the last couple months about how, going by local news coverage, the covid-19 pandemic ended the scourges of house fires, car accidents, and downed tree limbs. These staples of local news disappeared during March, April, and May as the Wuhan Flu ravaged its way down empty hospital corridors and barren grocery aisles.

Then, starting last week, the great plague began to disappear from news coverage. Suddenly, cars remembered they could hit one another. Fire rediscovered the comforts of the living room. Branches decided to embrace anew the Newtonian code of law. All of this became breaking news worthy of coverage once again; the news was becoming normal.

What does this have to do with riots?

Earlier today Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that New York City would begin reopening on June 8th.

The Wuhan game is played out. The Blue Zone has folded its hand and decided to bail on its extended lockdown scheme. American civil society was threatening to return to normalcy. Operation Remove Orange Man Number 78 is dead. Long Live Operation Remove Orange Man Number 79.

The fawning news coverage of the Operation 79 stooges is especially galling . For weeks, the peaceful and completely legal lockdown protests were portrayed as dangerous, and simmering with violence. Wagging fingers proclaimed demonstrators were endangering themselves and others because they were not wearing masks, and because they were not following social distancing guidelines. Governor Whitmer claimed protestors were physically threatening her. Democracy was besieged by deranged lunatics.

These deranged lunatics did not instigate a single act of violence. In most cases these deranged lunatics did in fact attempt to follow the spirit, if not the letter, of the covid guidelines. Most importantly they did not vandalize, destroy, injure, or maim. They made noise, enough of it to coerce the Bill of Rights back into existence, and everyone went home safe and sound.

This behavior was somehow bad, we were told. However, burning businesses and police stations is not. Attacking police is not. Attacking the headquarters of one of the largest media organizations in the world is not. Attempting to breach the White House is not. Suddenly congregating outdoors in huge crowds is not a problem. And we don’t need to worry whether or not these “demonstrators” are wearing their masks and maintaining six feet of separation.

Just as we can thank covid-19 for curing the common car crash, we can at least thank BLM and Antifa for curing covid-19.

But in seriousness, these riots are, much like covid-19, a Blue City problem. The federal government should offer assistance, but let the locals handle the situation. They are failing to do so, and will continue to do so. That is unfortunate, but until the citizens of the Blue City demand better of and for themselves, such failures will continue; they reflect intractable problems which will remain so until the culture of the Blue City changes. Direct federal intervention, which is a euphemism for confrontation, is what these anarchists want. It will not solve the long-term Problem of the Blue City, and will only play into the hands of those who desire violence and mayhem.

Don’t fall for the demonrat governors “we’re opening things up again” slight of hand. These “reopening” phase in plans are designed to keep large parts of the economy squelched while giving the appearence of a return to normalcy.

25% capacity, outdoor only dining, no fans allowed at sporting events……..that’s not reopening an economy or society.

“And just like that” the Yellow Flew is relegated to the Serpents back page. Pray for our President Trump. THIS is the price he pays for all he’s done for this still most noble Country ever recorded to human history. Anyone want to trade places with this man over the past nearly now four years? To weather the NIGHTMARE since 2016 – PDT has NO MATCH. It’s now reported the wildlife is attempting to set siege to the White House. If this continues they will force upon themselves a very bad and justified decision. We’re also hoping this doesn’t reach us here, for then they will come to know what a real Riot feels, tastes, looks, and smells like.

As an aside, Fox has a reporter out there again, “Mike” something, I’ve seen since he reported from the sandboxes. He willingly places himself in real danger before. Good competent guy with a pair of Forged 8620 Steel Balls out there repeating must be over 100X now to “watch your language”. Background audio loudly reinforcing “common core English” for the disciples.
