The Sentencing of Michael Flynn Represents a Very Big Problem for AG Bill Barr…

For the past week CTH has been outlining some lengthy research, highlighting key issues to help understand the background of what is evident.  If you’ve followed along, in this outline the individual pieces will all come together.  Bill Barr has a very big problem…

Andrew McCabe cannot be prosecuted in 2020 for the same reason James Wolfe could not be prosecuted in 2018. When we understand why we realize the problem that Michael Flynn now represents to U.S. Attorney Bill Barr.

United States Attorney General Bill Barr was not around in 2017 or 2018 when the DOJ was faced with the issues resulting from an investigation of intelligence leaks and Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) Security Director James Wolfe.

When the prosecution of SSCI Director James Wolfe was being considered, AG Jeff Sessions was recused; the Robert Mueller probe was ongoing; and as a consequence Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein and U.S. Attorney for DC Jessie Liu were decision-makers.

I’m not going to repeat all the issues, you can re-read them HERE; however, the baseline is that Wolfe could not be prosecuted without running the risk of collapsing key institutions of the U.S. government. The consequences of a Wolfe prosecution were beyond the capacity of Rod Rosenstein, or the DOJ to handle.  There would have been massive constitutional crises created and the literal definition of ‘sedition‘ was at the center of it.

Accepting the 2018 objectives from Rosenstein; and factually I doubt Jeff Sessions would have made a different decision even if he was not recused; when AG Barr takes the helm in February 2019 he is forced to carry-over those same objectives.

In essence, regardless of Bill Barr’s outlook or opinion of what took place, he had no alternative except to defend the previous decisions.  As a result Barr has no option except to protect Rod Rosenstein.

If former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe was ever to be prosecuted the same issues that surfaced with James Wolfe would surface again.  The actions by DAG Rosenstein in 2017 merged with the objectives of Andrew McCabe at the same time. {SEE HERE}

It can be debated whether Rosenstein collaborated with McCabe purposefully, or whether he was blind to the prior year corrupt activity within the DOJ/FBI and fell into a trap.  It doesn’t really matter what Rosenstein’s 2017 motives were; the facts show Rosensteins’ actions facilitated the goals of McCabe and the corrupt actors within the DOJ/FBI.

Those actions had consequences, very serious consequences, and those consequences are what matters.

There is no way of prosecuting Andrew McCabe without putting Rod Rosenstein into the same crosshairs of consequence. {Go Deep} Rosenstein facilitated the FBI operations being run by Comey, McCabe, Baker, Strzok, Page, Clinesmith, Pientka and eventually culminating in Robert Mueller, Andrew Weissman et al.

When you truly understand this context you also understand why Joseph Pientka III has a blanket protective order over him.  The all-encompassing protective order is as much about preserving and protecting the institution of the DOJ as it is protecting the fulcrum of corrupt activity Supervisory Special Agent One, Joseph Pientka III, represents.

The DOJ had to throw a bag over Pientka or eliminate him.  Thankfully, and not surprisingly, they chose the former and now he’s under protection.

DAG Rosenstein could not prosecute James Wolfe without exposing ‘seditious‘ activity within the U.S. government itself.  Not pretend sedition or theoretical sedition, but an actual pre-planned subversive operation with forethought and malice.

Likewise AG Bill Barr cannot prosecute Andrew McCabe without exposing the same ‘seditious‘ activity; which also encompasses the activity of Rod Rosenstein.  Whether Barr wants to protect Rosenstein is moot; if Barr wants to protect the institutions from sunlight on two years of actual seditious activity, he has to protect Rosenstein.

It’s the underlying activity that cannot be allowed to surface; the institutions of government are not strong enough, nor are they set-up to handle, prosecutions that overlap all three branches of government. [ex. read former questions]

However, that said, now AG Bill Barr is facing a downstream and parallel issue within the prosecution of Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.  How can Michael Flynn be sentenced for lying to the FBI when the DOJ is necessarily refusing to prosecute Andrew McCabe (at least what has been made public) for the exact same behavior?

Against this dynamic, the DOJ has two options: (Option A) go even harder at General Flynn using additional charges that are not as comparable to McCabe.  (Option B) find a way to drop the prosecution.

This dynamic is why the McCabe prosecution was not resolved in 2018.  This issue explains why there has been such a delay in the McCabe issue(s) since Bill Barr came into the picture in February 2019.

If Flynn just took the plea, everything would have been easier for the DOJ.  There would have been nothing to compare between the two, and time would have created distance to avoid any real comparison.  But Flynn reversed position and backed away from the plea.

So what do we see?

We see McCabe given an institutionally necessary free pass, and now Barr bringing in another federal prosecutor from St. Louis to reevaluate Flynn’s position.  The two options are again being debated: Crush Flynn on other matters; or drop it.

Take the totality of all these issues together.  Think about them for a while…

…Now do we see why AG Bill Barr needs President Trump to shut up?

Rod Rosenstein essentially protected James Wolfe because he saw no way the institutions of the U.S. government could survive the potential evidence in a trial.  Setting aside opinion on Rosenstein’s enabling of the sedition; enabling underpinning seditious activity; the decision makes sense.  [Consequences too big to jail]

Bill Barr is essentially protecting Andrew McCabe, and as a consequence Rod Rosenstein, out of a similar necessity.  From AG Barr’s perspective, there’s no way the institutions of government could survive the potential evidence at a McCabe trial; and McCabe would call Rosenstein as a defense witness.   [Consequences too big to jail]

At the heart of the matter, in the real activity that took place, there was a multi-branch seditious effort to remove President Donald J Trump.  From the perspective of those charged with the actual administration of justice – there is no way to put this in front of the American public and have the institutions survive.  What we are witnessing is a dance between increasingly narrowing rails and the DOJ trying to find an exit.

All of this 2020 angst is a downstream consequence of the 2018 decision not to prosecute James Wolfe; and the specific reason why they made that decision.

Those who framed the sedition recognize Bill Barr’s outlook on institutional preservation is an opportunity to weaponize against him. That is why four prosecutors could so easily defy his authority and set Barr up with the Roger Stone sentencing recommendation.

The Lawfare team know Bill Barr is trying to navigate away from exposing seditious  corruption the same Lawfare team helped facilitate.  The Lawfare group know Barr cannot prosecute McCabe; and they know exactly why. The Lawfare group can also see Barr protecting Rosenstein; and again, they know the reason why.

The corrupt crew saw what the DOJ and FBI did when they had the opportunity to expose it all in 2018.  DAG Rosenstein was afraid.

In 2020 AG Barr’s value for the institutions is also why AG Barr is afraid…

The seditious group filled the DOJ fire truck tanks with gasoline, and then they lit the House on fire.  General Flynn is trapped on the roof…. The neighborhood is shouting at fire Chief Barr “put out the fucking fire you idiots“, and wondering why everyone is just watching the House burn. Meanwhile, there’s several firefighters who know what’s in the tanks, and they are standing, smiling, hoses at the ready, cheering-on the angry shouts from the crowd…

Washington Post Article Here

President Trump says: Point the compromised firehoses at the smiling firefighters while making them hold the Zippo’s… then watch what happens.

The only way I can see out of this mess; the one crack in the current lock box; is the FISA court order for the DOJ to present the identified downstream consequences from fraud upon the court.  The FISC might actually be the ladder truck here.  With the DOJ and FBI currently assembling the investigative consequences, ie. the sequestration material, Flynn’s current legal status might be identified as an outcropping of fraudulently obtained FISA warrants.

Let’s hope those on the sequestration mission can return the information prior to the flames reaching the roof…

Here’s a purely pragmatic thought. Let’s say this involves convicting multiple Senators. Do those Senators come from states with Democrat governors? Because the governor would appoint a replacement Senator. Would this result in losing the GOP Senate majority? Perhaps these are the stakes. Nothing short of this would give me pause. The institutional integrity be damned. Integrity is already destroyed by allowing sedition to go unpunished.

It finally hit Sundance how big and bad this is. The revelation that the SSCI, FBI, CIA, and foreign intelligence agencies coordinated to take out PDJT would destabilize our entire country, and therefore the world. No exaggeration or hyperbole.

The revelation itself could start a civil war. Do you think the other side will be convinced? Or just sit around and accept what sounds fantastical? Of course not. Think Antifa will sit on their hands? No.

We’ve been reading in detail for THREE YEARS the minutiae of this case, and we want the American public to understand it, with a national election as a backdrop, in less than 9 months?

I keep coming back to that photo-op at the White House in 2017: “The Calm before the storm.”

This isn’t over by a long shot, on the other hand: caveat emptor.

So what? We leave the inner rot in place so it festers and rots some more, and eventually collapses “our entire country”?

You don’t leave the garbage in the house. You take it out to the curb. SD is surely right about all the causes, maybe even that the country will “destabilize”. So what if it does? It’s already destabilized, mostly due to MSM feeding millions of stupid Americans what they want those stupids to believe.

If you have cancer you either cut it out and risk death through the operation, or leave it in and die anyway. Cut it out now, I say. I’d rather risk the operation for a chance to be a healthy country again than die slowly and horrifically from the rot that’s already killed much of America as we knew it.

        • trnathens says:

          So what if it does?
The naivete and arrogance on display is stunning.
Thankfully (hopefully?) people like you are not making decisions in this matter.

          • trnathens says:

Did I say anything about leaving it in place?
The destabilizing effect would immediately be felt on stock prices, which impacts confidence, which impacts business, which impacts employment, which impacts the local economy. Which steps on the world economy, that is already hurting.

            Downstream effects.

There are ways of fixing the problem, without BROADCASTING everything to the world. Do you think China will sit still if we’re destabilized? Or Iran? Or Russia? Or anyone with goals, desires, ambitions that are contrary to ours? If we’re destabilized, what about the world oil supply, which impacts the world economy. When do World Wars start? Usually contemporaneously with acute economic or political crises.

So what if it does, you say?!

If we’re going to be giving and sharing ideas here, they should be constructive. Stop blathering on about declassify and reveal. Instead, be thinking how we can fix this without everyone in the world knowing all of our dirty laundry, so our country can continue on as the moral pillar that it is. Otherwise we sound like petulant children. We’re the adults. Let’s come up with solutions on how to fix it that make sense, and take into account the INSANE complexities and ramifications that will/can occur.

Please excuse my ignorance here, I found it rather odd Mueller’s wife and Barr’s wife going to Bible study together, at this late stage of their life. We start our children at the age of 5 6 the latest every Friday night for 2 hours at our church hall to learn all about the Bible, the continue until the age of 14. There are different groups taught by our 2 priests and teachers that know the Bible. My thought about the two wives was they know their husbands are corrupt, so perhaps by going they may get a pass from our Father?? I am totally confused and alarmed at all the evil corruption. Not ignorance, as those are valid concerns. However imho, church or Bible study may or may not have occurred until later. IMO the exposed corruption of Mueller began years ago. In regards to Barr he does have much experience at running cover or excusing very inhuman behaviors in order to protect institutions doing evil things. Whether any of them recognize there is a greater power or not. I am certain as tomorrow the sun will rise in the east and set in the west, we all must answer when the time comes. I pray for all knowing, I fall short, but each must decide. If you are going to error why not error on the positive side?

Now watch the people with behind the scenes knowledge like Gowdy, and many other elected officials and listen to them make predictions about the election as if this will be just another election, and they spend a lot time debating tactics and ways to win.

Well, what do they know? Sounds like they know the Durham bust will not happen. That’s the only way will have another normal election.

Anyone with certainty that Durham will expose the corruption would be saying: Trump has no competition, once the coup is exposed, and the whole country knows he was wronged his constitutional right violated etc and half of DC indicted, many elected officials having to vacate their seat, we will have record number of seats to be filled and this will be unprecedented. All normal rules will not apply. Forget the usual election games, it would so devastating we wouldn’t have an election this year.

But no one is saying anything like that.

        NO ONE!

Just like the past midterm election. I was so sure Trump was going to declassify and we would have a massive red wave and I didn’t get it why no one was considering that until… there was no declassification and Muller still was terrorizing our people.

It is not just the DOJ/FBI. From just what has been available to the public, if one had read the research and evidence produced, it involves Senators, Congressmen, DNC, RINOs, members of the Intelligence groups, judges, and the military. This coup was huge. Each person involved was only involved because he/she knew the large scope of involvement and the belief that it would be successful. What they didn’t count on was the strength of President Trump and the support of those who are part of the Trump army that allowed him to survive. This is not like the a few persons conceived this and tried to carry it out. The removal of those involved would take years and in the mean time our government would be torn apart. Imagine if President Trump had to declare martial law to maintain order. In this time in history it would be almost impossible. Military can’t be called in because of the 1878 Posse Comitatus Act. The Supreme Court ruled that Lincoln’s declaration of martial law was unconstitutional in any area where courts were still functioning. The possible mess is almost beyond imagination. You can’t just punish a few and let the rest go.

So, apparently, the logic is to let them all go, accept resignations were possible, and forgo the possible destruction of the county. There is an election coming up and the people will decide who is to stay and who is to go. The people have the power to remove the elected scum. Let us hope that our side turns out in great numbers and removes the traitors inside the Congress so that President Trump can triumph over his last 4 years. If President Trump has the numbers there is no stopping what he can accomplish.

        that is unfortunately correct.

the reality is …and it makes me sad to make this point clear…the president of the united states is not sitting on the mountain of classified material.

there is a wall between him and that material.

the really USEFUL classified material..the type that would be very beneficial is likely unknown to him and made such that it is not available to him.

in the sense the president is a SUPER USER..the dark forces of secret bureaucracy are ultimately a combination of compartmentalization and also distinct god mode admins.

then there is also the very very REAL issue of national security. One does not really want the president or anyone else to break down some very sensitive classified materials in other to expose some narrow bits of information contained in the larger set.

the redaction process would be lengthy to achieve..and the president would be making that demand to the very people who have the most to conceal in redaction.

I know this is not going to be some big surprise, but it’s worth repeating…

within classified material, there is the highest probability of some non-sanctioned unlawful criminal conduct…..the president is never going to be able to get this material..not this president..not any president.

this material is guarded by the very people who maintain it for leverage purposes….or its destroyed/edited/corrected/replaced as needed over time.

we would like to believe that ALL covert secret operations are known and authorized by POTUS…but that is certainly not true.

proving it, would require someone like snowden 2.0…

is there hope….depends on what effects you think will result. with snowden…can anyone here make a single factual claim that anything really changed?

        there IS a deep state…

it’s called the CIA folks. and it’s some of the most powerful, wealthiest most influential people and genius level organization on planet earth. This is unlikely to ever change.

He knows the evil McTurtle’s rules, but with no monthly assaults via committees to impeach, he can replace some key positions, start purging the Obama-installed bureaucrats from the DS, and try to repair the damage from that commie. I believe PDJT values that more than “burning it down” (as much as I’d like to see it all exposed, consequences be dammed).

President Trump will insist on some scalps, some damage to the plotters, and restrictions on the ability of people to construct this crap on him or future presidents. But that’s about as good as it can get. We aren’t going to see a massive perp walk of all the bad guys, and certainly won’t find Hillary or Obummer behind bars like they deserve.

I do NOT agree with SD’s statement that “From the perspective of those charged with actual U.S. Justice – there’s no way to put this in front of the American public and have the institutions themselves survive.”

The institutions will survive. The corrupt players will not, they are a cancer to our society.
If the cancer is not removed, it will metastasize and the country as we know it is cooked.

If PDJT has figured out what SD has, I’m confident he will “order” AG Barr to take action or resign.

If sundance’s article is entirely factual and if the truth as outlined here is discovered after Barr exits, he will be an accomplice in the sedition for deliberately covering it up and for defending some of the participants. He will also be remembered as one of America’s worst cowards for not revealing the truth to the people. If true, he’s also abandoning POTUS to the plotters who will continue to create the next plot or hoax against him with impunity.

Barr’s comment that he is “happy” that Stone was convicted despite the politically stacked decks (Judge, jury, prosecution) against Roger changed my opinion of the A/G. The bogus charge of tampering with a witness, who swore he didn’t feel threatened, was an example of sundance’s comment about the DOJ “adding charges” so the pending McCabe exoneration would not be a fair comparison with the Stone conviction as well.

The fact that he’s even weighing options, tells us that coverup to maintain Status Quo is his job now. Defending a coup and the coup plotters, his main directive

“….no institution left to prosecute the crimes…”
Where’s it stated an institution must prosecute the criminals? Did the Founders have an institution(s) to prosecute their case? Or did they prosecute their own case? Does the Constitution say or not say the citizens can impanel their own grand juries? Lastly and most importantly, will the citizens sit on their hands and let the guilty go free, because the “institutions” that should prosecute crimes are run and staffed by the very ones who are guilty and should be prosecuted?

If the “institutions” won’t or can’t prosecute, then it’s the duty, the responsibility, and the right of the people to prosecute and sentence for the crimes. What else are you going to do? Stand by, sit down, and lay down and let the guilty walk not only free, but walk all over you, your family, your future, and the future of your country? Or are you going to join together, pledge your life, fortune, and honor to something far bigger, better, and more important to the posterity of your name, your family, and your country?

“I care not what others may ask, but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!” Patrick Henry was 27 years old when he uttered those famous words. How many 27 year olds are ready, willing, or able to take the same stand today?

    • Boots says:

“….there would be no institution left to prosecute the crimes…”
Did the Founders need an institution to prosecute their case for independence? Did they need permission from any court, any government, any officer of the crown, any lawyer, or anybody else to prosecute their fight for independence?

Does the Constitution empower or not empower citizens to convene grand juries? Should we as a people, as citizens, lay down in supplication at the feet of those who even now are trying to overthrow a duly elected President, in violation of the very federal statutes they swore to uphold?

Let the institutions and those infesting and infecting them be damned. We need no institution to charge, prosecute, sentence, or carry out said sentence upon the perpetrators and violators of 18 USC 115. We need only the good organization, with pure motives and sound minds, led by upstanding men of same motives and minds, to convene, arrest, try, sentence, and carry out said sentence.

I tell you sure as the sun will rise shortly. If this cancer is not eradicated completely, down to the last mutated cell, it will in a short few years bring about the final and lasting death of the greatest, most successful experiment in self governance the world has ever known. After that death, there will never, ever be another free republic on earth; and we then must wait until the Kingdom of above is established on earth and in Heaven.

Until then we have a choice. We either wise up, rise up, man up, and stand up and take responsibility and charge of our very futures and lives; or we sit behind our keyboards and type brave sounding proclamations of what we must do to save our lives and futures, and while doing so allow our masters to forge another link in the chains of our slavery.

“For what are men waiting? The war has already begun! The next gale will bring a resounding clash of arms! Why wait we here while our brethren are already in the field!? I know not what other men may wish, but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!”

It seems his motive has always been to restore it to a functioning capacity. So what Bill Barr is concerned about is nonsense. The institutions are more rugged than you might think. What’s deestroying them is the scum currently inhabiting them. President Trump is not going to be muzzled. And if Bill Barr does not get off his dead ass he will go the way of Sessions fairly quickly. Cowardice is not a desirable trait in a leader. I’ve been saying for years, the AG under Trump is the toughest position to fill in the world. To do the job that needs to be done is not the same as making friends. Again, I believe Barr is on the clock. Sundance said the other day, Miss Lindsey writes letters, AG Barr throws out some good language in his speeches. Same result, nada. He already pushed the Dunham probe into the summer. He’s running out the clock. What he doesn’t realize is he’s running out the clock on himself. Maybe he does realize that. Maybe he sees this as a relay race, and he just hands the baton to the next guy that wastes two years. It’s frustrating really.
