The question that would end the whole thing:

To the Managers, do you think you have called enough witnesses and produced enough evidence to conclude, if so should the Senate hold the vote now or if not do you feel you haven’t proved your case?

      Pretty simple.

To clarify… The question was why wasn’t trump focused on Bidens until he ran. They left this out.

Also, Trump “turned to his aide” and said get rid of Yovanovich after he was told she was badmouthing him. he did not direct Parnas or his partner to do so. His deputy chief of staff was sitting next to trump from what I read. So the question set up for Schiff was a false premise stated as fact,

Democrats lying to their own chamber.

I found it interesting that Murkowski asked the question of why the subpoenas issued before HR 755 were not valid. That question leads me to the thought she is seeking out a technicality she can hang her hat on to not allow the process to move forward.

    I know…wishful thinking.

If ever ALL the wrong democrats come into controlling both the Executive and Legislative Branches, this hearing will have initiated the codification of thought crimes similar to use of Google surveillance software by China.

With any phone call, e-mail string, written note, overheard discussion, recorded discussion by any citizen, et al; any citizen can be accused and convicted of “wanting to or discussing the commission of some disagreeable action”. Now bring in the High Tech monitors of every thing communication within the US, combined with the Patriot Act and this will be the movie “Minority Report” on steroids, complete with sitting juries in replay rooms.

The technology is here today to do it, the infrastructure is in place and all that is needed is a government willing to fully implement.

Funny thing about witnesses: House had 18 and WH zero…

The 18 we’d call under oath in no particular order:

    Obama
    Comey
    Brennan
    Strzok
    Page
    Sessions
    Flynn
    Rice
    Crooked
    Ryan
The one we cannot name Valjar
    McCabe
    Papadoupoupolous
    Biden
    Hunter Biden
    FISA court judge Contreras
    FISA court judge Colyer
    Ohr

    • thedoc00 says:

Needs to be said every one of the 18 witnesses gave an answer that can be considered exculpatory and not a single one witnessed the wrong doing. In fact noen of them could answer the question, per Schiff’s own “transcripts”, name the crime or wrong doing committed. Every bit of the transcripts was “discussion” of what the witnesses thought the President was doing, among themselves.

By the way, I would add Admiral Rogers to the witness list and take off one of the political hacks.

Now even with aquittal he will be branded as having been impeached. “Republican”s should know better but they are not true republicans. This is a farce and even if it sets a bad precedent we know the “Republicans” will not go after a Democrat president with non-crimes such as these. This will only be used against Republicans who do not do as told.

Sekulow is missing the low hanginhg fruit on “new witnesses,” which is that Trump’s state of mind or intent has no bearing, because there was no improper action. And further that Trump had a public interest motive.
Instead he goes off on some weird credibility angle, and then that if you call one witness, there will be a flood of them.

Yet, consider the ugly environment, risk of legal jeopardy, personal career risk and zero level of support from the Republican Party Leadership. Only very brave people of quality have stepped-up so far and the president left employing only staff agreeable to McConnell or the “best that can be found”. That has resulted in several Bolton like unfortunate consequences. This is going to be nature of the beast for the next 5 years.

From those witnesses, we will hand pick the best witnesses for our case and make a public spectacle out of interviewing them. The witnesses’ testimonies that we do not like will be sealed.
