Hearing Highlights – Jordan, Stefanik and Ratcliffe Deconstruct Impeachment Narrative…

Day One of the Pelosi, Schiff and Lawfare effort to publicly construct support for the impeachment of President Trump ends.  Within the questioning of State Department officials George Kent and Bill Taylor the value of adding Jim Jordan to the hearings became clear.

Jim Jordan, Elise Stefanik and John Ratcliffe methodically deconstructed the false premise advanced by the impeachment crew.  It became clear that both Kent and Taylor held no specific and direct knowledge of the substance behind the claims made by the democrats leading the effort.  Here’s a few highlights starting with Jim Jordan:

Jordan pressed Taylor on how he came to have a “clear understanding” that the U.S. aid to Ukraine was dependent on opening an investigation into Trump’s political rivals. Jordan said there was no “linkage” and Ambassador Taylor said he came to his “clear conclusion” based on what other people said about what other people heard about conversations with other people.

Next up John Ratcliffe: Rep. Ratcliffe reviewed multiple public statements made by Ukrainian President Zelensky that he was not pressured by the U.S. and had no knowledge of military aid being withheld from Ukraine.

.

Then Elise Stefanik brings it home by outlining Burisma: Rep. Stefanik focused on both officials’ statements on the corruption in Ukraine and Burisma:

Bad news my fellow Treepers. Trump is screwed.
I have inside knowledge that the DNC now has a witness with direct first hand knowledge that a bunch of Cubans were hired by the Committee to Reelect Trump. They broke into Putins humidor to snatch some tasty Dominicans and tried to cover their tracks by sealing it with masking tape. The witness will testify that the stolen cigars had a note wrapped around two of them tied with a string —in Vald’s own hand writing. They were dropped on the side of the road just south of the Antietam National Battlefield about an hours drive north of the Russian Embassy in DC. The note clearly shows that Putin was plotting with Pelosi to get her to introduce legislation to bring back the Tenure In Office Act. Well, it seems Trump was told about this in a Whitehouse meeting and the entire briefing is on a an old analog tape. That’s not all— part of the the tape got erased. The witness will say that Trump’s was having an affair with the sound technician who erased the tape. She works in the Whitehouse and is only 21. Witness has possession of the the young gal’s dress—Blue dress. The woman’s Aunt is Stormy Daniels.
When I heard this I knew it would be over. It’s so much more believable than what went on today.

        From the (😄😄😂😂) article:

“As soon as congressional maintenance staff heard that the impeachment hearings were going to begin, they went into storage and got out “the Big Top,” also used during the Kavanaugh hearings last year.

“We keep the Big Top on hand for certain situations,” said one staff member. “Usually these big inquisition-style trials, that kind of thing. They’re great entertainment. And the kids love the monkeys.”

Congressional vendors will be selling peanuts, popcorn, programs, and those big foam fingers to enhance viewers’ experience.

Rep. Adam Schiff was furious with the changes, saying they make a mockery out of a serious show trial.

“These are serious proceedings, and we will not have them mocked!” Schiff cried, wearing a clown nose, riding an elephant, and juggling fourteen flaming bowling pins. “The American public needs to know how super serious we are about this.”

“And now for my last stunt, I will create evidence for impeachment out of thin air!”

What bothers me about todays hearing is that these two witnesses represents what some would consider the cream of our diplomatic core. If this is the best we have it is no wonder we are so poorly thought of throughout a good deal of the world. What I observed were to men more concerned with their own little fifedoms, than executing the foreign policy of their boss the President of the United States. Their whining to the world about their hurt feelings has done far more damage to U.S. policy than anything they imagined President Trump has done. If they didn’t like the direction the President’s foreign policy was headed, the proper action would have been to resign.

Well, to be fair, these two dummkopfs were touted as the “creme de la creme” only to create an aura of credibility because they’re the two scripted alleged witnesses to the alleged “High Crimes” of the President.

IMO anyone who was in the right position at the right time and as antiTrump as these two would’ve been cast in equally ”glowing” light by the DemonRATs.

I believe he was “helping ” with setting guidelines for Burisma attorneys under new anti -corruption laws enacted in Ukraine in 2014. In reality, Hunter is really a lobbbyist who got access to the State Dept. thru the auspices his dad could provide. Likewise, devon Archer was a former aide to John Kerry.

Mitt Romney has “with regret” joined in Rep Schiff’s condemnation while The Squad insists that eating of beans, with possible addition of ham hocks and cornbread, is cultural appropriation and evidence of racism. The media reports this latest transgression as yet more evidence of Pres Trump’s unfitness for leadership in these perilous times.

    • Tseg, I read on a forum post somewhere that someone heard from someone else who found it on a piece of paper that they’d picked up by the side of the road that you murdered Jimmy Hoffa! Therefore, the police will be there within the hour to arrest you so that you can be arraigned on capital murder charges. But you will not be allowed to confront nor question your accuser, and you may not have an attorney present. (That’s the brand-new legal rule, created on-the-fly by the House Committee just today, called “the Schiff Rule.”)

In fact, Tseg, you won’t be tried at all, because the legislature has already decided that you are guilty of this crime. (Mr. Schiff has decided on his own authority that “Writs of Attainder” such as this are, in fact, perfectly acceptable.) So, sorry my friend, they’re just going to shoot you . . . before broadcasting on every available news channel that the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa has now been solved.

(Incidentally: the “convenient change” that was added to Federal whistleblower rules, obviously just for this purpose, must be rescinded at once if this very important system can continue to function. As we very plainly see here now, complaints that are not based on direct, eyewitness evidence – attested under penalty of perjury – are quite useless.)

  21. Well, the key thing that’s going to implode this dog-and-pony show is the fact that the Democrats are trying to save Joe Biden from the consequences of his televised boast which also directly implicated Obama. (“Call him.”) In general, they’re trying to excuse the high crimes committed by these two people while in office, and by extension their own high crimes of many past decades. And, they’re trying to do this by impeaching the first Officeholder who wasn’t a crook like themselves.

Furthermore, they also forget that we have a ratified treaty with Ukraine, specifically concerning law-enforcement cooperation, specifically concerning the crime of corruption. Although I doubt Mr. Trump was thinking of this on that day, that treaty requires matters of such interest to be discussed!

In a weird way, I’m very glad that the Democrats did this … to themselves.

You actually BELIEVE the Republican party is “Trumps party, now”?

Republican voters, sure. Party hierarchy? Not at ALL. McConnell’s corruption is just as vulnerable to exposure as sleepy Joe,…Grahams too.

Graham and McCain were the ‘bag men’ for McConnell, just like Durbin is for the Dems.

See, you CAN’T extort bribes over the phone, or in a letter; you have to do it face to face. Same with arms sales, as with foriegn “aid”.

Thats why Hillary logged more air miles than any previous Sec of State.
All those face to face meetings to extort pay for play.

Anyway, McConnell and Graham would LOVE to run with whatever ball the Dems pass them, even if it IS somewhat deflated.

The GOP did a great job laying the groundwork for the sedition investigation and trials that are coming once Trump is acquitted by the Senate.

Nothing is going to stop the paperwork impeachment. The testimony is irrelevant. The facts are irrelevant. Taylor admitting there was no threat to withhold aid unless there was an investigation of the Biden’s is irrelevant. Kent stating that he had deep concerns about the Biden’s conflict of interest and concerns that the Burisma investigation was shut down due to a bribe is irrelevant.

The only thing that matters is that Pelosi currently has the votes. The articles of impeachment are written. And, barring some sort of major revelation such as a video-taped meeting of Schiff, Lawfare, the fake Whistleblower and IC IG Atkinson coordinating to write the whistleblower complaint*, there will be a vote to impeach President Trump.

From what I can tell, the media is locked into their pre-set media templates that the witnesses are confirming Democrats’ worst fears. Although, there is some hope because as I listen to the “top of the hour” news briefs, they’re playing recordings of Taylor saying he knows what he knows because he heard from an aid who said he had heard it somewhere else…etc etc. So that tells me the media is having trouble finding the smoking gun to report. Good news, in a way.

*Also, I acknowledge that said video tape would not necessarily end the impeachment either, as Schiff would declare it a sham and the media would say that the GOP is trying to distract people with irrelevant details.

The only legal proceedings we should be reading about and watching during the campaign are those about grand juries and sentencing involving officials from the Obama regime.

We have results and a positive campaign message. The opposition wants to keep us on defense for a reason.

Thanks for editing this to Ratcliffe’s, Jordan’s and Stefanik’s moments in the limelight. All three were quite strong. I watched a bit this morning, but couldn’t take too much of it. These were the highlights I wanted, and I saw Nunes, too. But who was that counsel for the Repubs? The few minutes I saw he appeared inept and uncertain of himself. I couldn’t listen.

I think the President wanted this to happen, to give Nancy and Schiff the rope to hang themselves with. The American public watching today has to think that fairness now requires a full inquiry into Burisma Biden. And I think that is going to be delivered. Right between Schiff’s bug-eyes.

And I think the bad news is going to snowball from one Obama “whiff” of corruption to the whole sewer treatment facility full of it.

For those planning to arm up and head to DC, I advise caution: The whole purpose of Antifa is to incite violence, to bring it on, in order to cause a breakdown in law and order. Sure an armed mob of Trump supporters could slaughter Antifa in battle, but that is exactly what they want. President Trump wanted this confrontation. On Friday he said, “I caught the Swamp. I caught them all… I caught all of this corruption that was going on and nobody else could have done it.” Let’s play it out. It’s looking good to me, so far.

    • Yes, “leave your guns at home.” (Along with your jack-boots and brown shirts, as Antifa would prefer to see it.) The US Constitution and the Rule of Law are, in fact, quite able to handle this attack on their own.

Maybe a handful of well-placed corrupt politicians never comprehended that “Drain the Swamp™” actually meant “Law Enforcement,” but I daresay they’re about to. Their utterly-insipid theater is quickly and vastly raising public awareness of just what these very Swamp Rats have actually been doing, in Ukraine and elsewhere. The consequences are not going to be pretty for any of them – but they will be peaceful. (“Oh yes, we peacefully secure the rope around your neck as we lead you to the trap door of the legal gallows. Oh yes, so very peacefully.”)

  48. How many lies will be told on primetime news shows tonight and in newspapers tomorrow about today’s hearing? It is truly simple, uncomplicated… Ukraine has massive corruption, the owner of Burisma, Mykola Zlochevsky, stole billions of dollars while he was Ukraine’s minister of natural resources under Viktor Yanukovych, the former president of Ukraine. Zlochevsky hired several prominent American’s relatives and close associates to keep the ill-gotten gains and get the heat off of him. Vice President Biden and Secretary of State Kerry TOOK BRIBES paid to themselves, their relatives and close associates in furtherance of Zlochevsky’s efforts to stay out of trouble and keep his stolen billions.

President Trump was trying to determine if the new Ukraine President, Volodymyr Zelensky, was really committed to rooting out the corruption before he agreed to give more American aid to them. There is no quid pro quo here… there’s an effort to clean that crap up! What the Hell are Democrats doing here? This whole thing is NUTS!
