Lots of great questions, Devin, like this one: if Misfud is the Russian asset with Putin ties that the Mueller team makes him out to be, why did OUR State Department invite him to the US Capital in 2017?

That’s what I always told me kids! If you lie, you will always have to remember what you said and to whom to make sure you keep your stories straight. If you just tell the truth, it’s much easier, because you just have to say what happened and the details will never change!

I’ve had to tell my NASA bosses (all the way up to HQ) several times it’s not worth lying, falsifying data, hiding mistakes etc – we can just work hard to fix things and not worry we’ll get caught. Most of the people suggesting such things are panicked, inept and greedy -only looking out for their careers by making short term decisions

PTrump is making big policy changes- greed and ideology is at the root of this coup. The bad actors were so greedy, arrogant, and inept they put their desires above everything.

“Mueller charged FB Russians” … submitting to the court as evidence, FB Posts they attributed to the accused. Only ALL the Posts were in RUSSIAN, having never been translated. The Prosecution admitted they had no idea what the Posts said, & then pleaded for more time to figure it out!

So how can they presume any Posts were politically motivated, or even relevant to the allegations??

Even better… the accounts they pulled the Posts from, did NOT match the names of the IT Reps being accused. Instead the Mueller Prosecution also alleged fake profiles were created, & false identities utilized.
        Ok, based off what evidence??

They don’t know the content of these Posts. So without having context, how did they determine there was any motive? And where is the proof of INTENT?

I guess it boils down to… if a Russian posts on FB, & does so using Russian– he/she’s really a super-secret, Trump-colluding, election-meddling imposter!

The Mueller Team never expected the case to go to court. Or consider if the accused hired an attorney– it would force the need for evidence on Discovery. So they scrambled to come up with some… anything they could get their hands on.
It tells us plenty about their underlying methods & procedures!

Is this what $30 million bought us: the FBI leaks classified material to the media => the media reports fake news stories based on the leaked material => the Mueller team uses the fake news stories as a reason to investigate? How circular. And convenient. And now, transparent.

    Two items of some importance:

1: In his letter, Nunes questioned how the FBI would have known to press Papadopoulos about Clinton’s emails, given that he did not mention emails to Downer.

“It’s still a mystery how the FBI knew to ask Papadopoulos specifically about Hillary Clinton’s emails … if the FBI hadn’t already somehow received this information directly or indirectly from Mifsud himself,” he said.

2: Joseph Mifsud was a Russian operator. It has been widely reported that Mifsud was a deep state operator who trains CIA and FBI agents in Italy. And Devin Nunes knows this.

    • Lee Moore says:

One other thing about Papadopoulos and the Clinton emails. On page 89 of the Mueller report, and in the Papadopouos statement of offense, it is made clear that, what Mifsud told Papadopoulos (according to George) was that the Russians had Clinton emails.

But on page 93 in a section headed “f. Trump Campaign knowledge of dirt” there is a peculiar opening paragraph which rehearses the April 26 Mifsud meeting, and Papadopoulos talking to the Australian Erika and then has the following bit in brackets :

(This conversation [ie with Erika} occurred after the GRU spearfished Clinton campaign Chairman John Podesta and stole his emails, and the GRU hacked into the DCCC and DNC, see Volume I Sections IIIA and IIIB supra.)

Yeah, sure. It also happened after the atom bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, and after Monica Lewinsky turned 40. But wtf has it got to do with anything involving Papadopoulos ?

It appears to be there merely as an insinuation that perhaps Papadopoulos through his wicked Russian contacts already knew about the spearfishing and the hacking. But this is directed contradicted by Mueller’s own report and the stipulated facts of the Papadopoulos indictment that the Mifsud “dirt” was Clinton emails. Stipulated by both Papadopoulos and the Special Counsel.

I’d sure like Jim Jordan, if he gets the chance, to ask Mueller what that bit in brackets is supposed to be doing.

We are far from out of the woods. This country is very close to terminally ill — that is the bad news. The good news, is that sunlight and education, coupled with hard confrontation of lies and internal enemies can turn us around quickly. The communist party/marxists/uniparty has done a great job at making reality and morality very fuzzy for the average Amercian citizen, and especially the average american child.

Even as a child I was very aware of what was going on in Vietnam, watergate, Martin Luther Kennedy. Kids today are very confused, and the more they are sure of themselves, the less likely they are to be anywhere near grounded in reality.

We must continue to parse out the truth relentlessly, wake up our population to the seriousness of what is happening and our condition, and instill the desire to learn how to preserve this sacred country of ours.

Huge blowback at the Washington Post from a related post:

The Papadopoulos indictment states first contact with Joseph Mifsud was “about March 14 2016”, it was actually March 16 2016, two days after Papadopoulos was announced as a Trump campaign advisor. Yet the Mueller report omits the date and falsely claims that first meeting was in Spring 2016. The Mueller report implies a Russia connection but never states Mifsud is a Russian agent or asset. These carefully crafted words are meant to obscure the Obama administration illegal initiation of spying through Mifsud. Mifsud even travelled to Washington DC and was never detained, interrogated, arrested, or indicted. If Mifsud was a Russian agent or asset the Mueller report would state so and indict but never does.
