Former DOJ, FBI and Intelligence Officials Positioning For Devastating IG Report…

Many people have noted the bizarre number of former Obama Administration DOJ, FBI and Intelligence Community officials who have gone to work within the U.S. media apparatus in order to protect their interests.

Former CIA Director John Brennan now working for NBC; former DNI James Clapper now working for CNN; former FBI Chief Legal Counsel James Baker now working for Lawfare blog; former FBI Supervisory Special Agent Josh Campbell now working for CNN; former Obama adviser Ben Rhodes now working for MSNBC…. the list goes on. All motives transparently political.

Notably absent, the hiring of any actual journalists.

All of these pre-positioned forces are defensive in nature. All of their collective narrative constructs stem from a self-preservation instinct. The U.S. media has imploded onto itself and devolved into an Kafkaesque assembly of political narrative engineers churning out fake news 24/7.

What we are now witnessing is something far beyond Pravda and Baghdad Bob. What we now see is an even more severe distortion of media; an alternate reality created as if the Stasi and Tokyo Rose joined forces to take control of U.S. broadcasts.

If the head of the KGB was an analyst for Russia Today, people would laugh. The New York Times would continue pointing at the example as a reason never to believe the stories. Yet, identically, former CIA Director John Brennan is on TV daily and almost no-one gives it a second thought.

A surreal distortion of reality, hence Kafkaesque.

Cue today’s audio visual demonstration.

Former FBI Supervisory Special Agent Josh Campbell, now a CNN analyst, steps to the forefront along with Deep State media guards at the New York Times and Washington Post, to pre-position the FBI defense in advance of the Inspector General Report:

(Campell Tweet LinkZapotosky Tweet LinkUnderlying WaPo Story Link)

Emphasis mine:

(Via Washington Post) Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz recently summoned an FBI agent important to the probe of Russian interference in the 2016 election for an interview. His investigators wanted to know how the bureau came to surveil a former Trump campaign adviser, and in particular, the chronology of events that led them to seek a secret court order to do so.

As the Justice Department’s internal affairs cop, this is the sort of work Horowitz does: investigating the investigators. In that role, he has suddenly found himself in the political spotlight, a potentially decisive voice in the partisan controversies over the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server when she was secretary of state, and its subsequent probe of the Trump campaign and Russia.

In the coming weeks, Horowitz is expected to release a nearly 500-page report criticizing the Justice Department and FBI for their handling of the Clinton email investigation, people familiar with the matter said. They, like others in this report, spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak frankly about matters they are not authorized to discuss publicly. Meanwhile, he has intensified his review of the Russia investigation, interviewing the FBI agent who once led the case and inviting him back for a second conversation, one of these people said.

Those who know Horowitz say his findings will be as nonpartisan as they are thorough. But his work is almost certain to be weaponized by President Trump against federal law enforcement, and some question whether it will quell the tension gripping Washington.

“He’s going to be unflappable, he’s going to be apolitical, he’s going to call it like he sees it,” said Mary Jo White, a former U.S. attorney in the Southern District of New York who supervised Horowitz when he worked there.

She added: “I think the public should have a very high degree of confidence in whatever he finds. Now, that’s a different question than, ‘How will it be received?’ ” (read more)

Well, those outlined interviews describe IG Horowitz looking into the FISA abuse scandal at the heart of SpyGate; and we all know who the re-re-re-re-interviewed FBI Agent is, don’t we:

Justice is not only in the form of punishment. Within the context at hand, justice does include that it is Donald J. Trump who is President.

To say a bit more on that, it is not the ‘popular vote’ on Earth which counts as much as the popular appeal to God in heaven. There had to be tens of millions making fervent petition to God for DJT.

I keep hearing, and rightly so, that we are being cheated and lied to. It is true whether it comes in the form of a complaint, a well reasoned argument, or an angry outburst, we have been lied to…on an epic scale. I believe WWIII is being fought, even now, in alleys and ward rooms, across the earth. This fight is for more than the freedom of our country, it is for the freedom of all people. Our government controls a doomsday machine and it isn’t nuclear or atomic powered, small potatoes, it is the ability to see inside our thinking and perhaps, inside our hearts. Metadata. The black hats want access to it, and the white hats are wresting it free from their grasp. Progress hasn’t been shown to us for one simple reason…every one of these investigations is looking at precisely one issue, they are simply looking at different aspects or events of one enormous undertaking. The subversion of all earthly power through the control of information. When the white hats strike they must take out the entire cabal or they will fail, and THAT is an enormous undertaking. What stands in their way? A few good people chosen by us, and our own resilience…some might say, chosen by God. I would not argue that.

If I’m wrong I will eat my tinfoil hat. Stay safe treepers.

    • WWIII indeed. I remember when I was kid it was predicted wars would be fought without armies. This is a war, but it is with opposing armies of ideologies. Right vs wrong.
It is all about GOD, and those whom HE has chosen know the outcome.
Just remember our history books will be written by liberals….at least as it stands right now.

Last night we had a spectacular lightning storm, accompanied by not quite enough rain (OK, what I really want is 5 minutes of suds, more rain, hot wax, and a dry cycle, but that doesn’t work in the world of rain 🙂 ).

The lightning was cloud-to-cloud, and one could see bolts flashing hither and yon, some stronger, some less pronounced. Not many ground strokes that I could tell, but still, it seemed like a great battle in the Heavens was occurring… Thank GOD that He has it all under control.

Let’s see here, Horowitz released his report to the FBI and DOJ around 3 weeks ago now but the citizens have to wait at least 2 more weeks to see what? Unbelievable that the suspects are allowed to review and control the evidence against them. I know a couple of people that would loved to have had that privilege. What a sad joke this all is.

It’s a process, the IG makes sure he’s got the fact right so gives a chance for people named in the report to dispute or supplement the what’s written about them. It doesn’t replace what the IG writes but is added to the report. The draft reviewers do not by any means “control the evidence against them” in the report.

Kind of like an employee evaluation in large companies. An employee may write a response to dispute aspects of the eval. That doesn’t erase or replace what the boss said just is appended to the original eval document.

AIUI the draft is reviewed under a very strict NDA, I’m sure with sharp teeth in it. The review process is a good thing, it takes some time (especially for a very voluminous report) but assures maximum “fairness” and transparency which ultimately makes the IG findings all the more bulletproof.

      • spren says:

jrapdx, that was a very good analogy to what this process is. Spot on! When your boss has critiqued you and provided his/her evaluation, you get to at least respond to it in mitigation of its negative pronouncements. But that carries little water and is only included as an addendum to what he/she said.

I hope this IG stands strong to what he has seen and heard, and can withstand what is probably intense political (and maybe personal) pressure to water down what he is saying.

From what we read about him it seems quite likely the report will pull no punches. His history with the Obama regime is reassuring, that he’s determined to stand up for what’s right and do his job thoroughly. If he is what he appears to be—a man of honor and ethics—we’ll be blessed with the truth, the facts, and let them fall as they may. That will be a breath of fresh air, how wonderful a difference from all that made the IG report necessary in the first place.

I’d counter with Facts have a Conservative Bias. This IG report exists to explain “what happened”. I’d prefer that recounting of history to be as politics free as possible, just the facts. It’ll make it all the easier for the upcoming criminal trials.

An interesting perspective. We say facts are facts, that is, fundamentally apolitical. But of course facts aren’t absolute or even necessarily atomic. There’s a range of inherent “squishiness” in facts from almost none to quite a bit. That leaves space for varying interpretations of a fact’s significance, that’s where biases come into play.

In a social domain facts are easily and mistakenly elevated to “truth” which deserved or not exaggerates their importance. Whether that’s a “liberal” or “conservative” tendency is an open question. However, reducing ambiguity or determining the objective basis of facts is likely more a trait of conservatives than leftists.

In any case I agree having unambiguously well-documented facts should certainly have a useful impact in a court of law. I surmise the IG report will reflect that kind of thorough attention to detail, no doubt the last thing a criminal wants to face.

We have still to learn the specifics of how implicated the NYT, WaPo, CNN etc are, in what’s been going on since 2015, but their actions betray them. They are like a dying organism now, lashing out in defense, but ultimately defeated by reality.

Like most, I’d like to know who was paid to peddle propaganda, but also I wonder how many unpaid reporters knowingly participated in the Obama/Clinton scheme?

Josh Campbell and the other bootlickers are wasting their time. They’re preaching to a declining audience of deranged liberals, who already agree with them. They don’t seem to have realized that the liberal hivemind of FakeNews, does not represent America. They should have learned that lesson on Nov 8, 2016.

It does not protect an entity known as the Press. I am so sick of this distortion of what is protected in the First Amendment. The entire First Amendment is focused on protecting the rights of individuals to express their opinions, right to assembly to express those opinions, free association, and freedom of religion. The following insightful SD quote about the “bizarre number” of Obama Admin… officials being hired by the MSM made me laugh. “Notably absent, the hiring of any actual journalists.”

It’s certainly clear that some people are very worried, but I wonder if sundance has any idea where their coordinated defensive propaganda network is based and if they actually have group meetings or communicate in other ways. I doubt they are using traceable text messages now. Is there a “Star Chamber” type of organizational network or what? Obama did remain in Washington and he has a large dwelling surrounded by walls.

I’m partly joking, but how this resistance network is coordinated is of great interest. In some cases, they all wait for the WaPo or the NYT’s to lay out the talking points to the various on air MSM stooges and then they all parrot the same basic script. But that is not all there is to it.

Classified info is regularly leaked from the DOJ, the FBI etc to the recipient actors and then passed on up to the leader or leaders of the Resistance (or Butt Covering Campaign) who then decide when and where to pass the edited classified info to including which newspaper and which head honcho of a MSM network and then on down to the legions of on-air MSM goons.

I wish a hot shot reporter-investigator could unravel this process and all of the participants and their roles. Also, who is funding all of this widespread, well funded treachery.

We need to step back and look at the bigger picture. To defeat the enemy, we must understand how they coordinate their media attacks. Only then can we begin to effectively disrupt the misinformation campaign that they have established.

It is very clear that there is coordination. Lies/slanted stories are published in the media across multiple platforms each day. Is Media Matters really the source of this coordinated disinformation communication? Or does Media Matters get their marching orders from a “higher source”.

Media Matters routinely violates it’s non-profit status with virtually no repercussions.

“….This leaked document which has been issued after the election 2016 and before President Trump takes the Oval Office, reveals the slightest details on how Media Matters has organized these attacks. We have never faced such organized dramatic response and psychopathic efforts coming from media on a President. Their deleterious “attack project” has three main tasks, each delivered to different sub-organizations named: American Bridge, Crew, and Shareblue.

Media Matters is responsible for the big purge and censorship we are facing now on the world-wide scale through Google, Facebook, Twitter, and search engine algorithms. It has all these companies under command. Moreover, Media Matters rules the media. Sends them direct messages through their phones and instruments on real-time events. If they comply, then they are allowed to continue their routine life. If they don’t comply, they will be threatened, personally mocked and they will no doubt lose their jobs and positions, they will lose their advertisers and investors. The consequences of not executing what Media Matters and its sub-organizations is beyond imagination. CNN, MSNBC, and other news outlets who are giant industry leaders take orders and behave exactly as requested by Media Matters which demonstrates the gravity of this Mafia-style influence of Media Matters. Remember all movies you have watched regarding the Mafia and replace the situation and characters with a modern era and electronic warfare, but the performance is exactly the same. You don’t bow; you will be ruined and buried….”

Almost sounds completely nonpartisan, a reasonable statement of facts does it not?
Except for the insertion of of the “evil and dangerous” weaponization part which is meant to reflect poorly on the President and to deflect any wrong doing on the part of Team Left.

Personally I would think that the President and Justice Department MUST weaponize the findings if laws were broken…maybe even nuclear-IZE the findings…

The MSM are no doubt aware there’s no need for the President to “weaponize” the IG findings. Those findings will speak for themselves. If prosecuting clearly criminal conduct is “weaponizing” evidence, then laws have no meaning whatsoever. We know leftists act as though laws are meaningless, but the great majority of Americans want laws to be respected and criminals prosecuted. The MSM will only reach those already lost to the cult of leftism, the propaganda will fail to convince people of good conscience.

Earlier this year (2015) in congressional testimony, DOJ IG Michael Horowitz exposed the Obama administration’s “continued refusal by the Department to recognize that Section 6(a) of the Inspector General Act authorizes the DOJ OIG to obtain access to all records in the Department’s possession that we need in order to perform our oversight responsibilities” as the office investigates the IRS witch hunts, the Fast and Furious scandal, and systemic public disclosure evasions.

Once they have full control, what happens next? Dictatorship?

That took me two hours to get through, and I really need to go back and read it again more thoroughly. These machinations by the IC would need an extensive mini-series to ever make sense to those not willing to research, and I was only able to follow the thread because of my daily reading here (CTH is cited a few times).

Donald Trump Jr.’s 10 minute meeting with the Russian attorney under what turned out to be a pretext of the offer of information about HRC was a terrible no-no, but Hillary’s campaign hiring these research firms to find out information about President Trump was acceptable.

I would hate to have to attend these conferences: The ODNI sponsored the 4th Annual Intelligence Community Women’s Summit, which “featured a series of panel discussions, with topics such as Leading with Diversity, Diversity of Experiences, Diversity of Workforce, Diversity of Self [?] and Diversity of Relationships.”

When Doxxing A Private Citizen Becomes A Hit Job By Media. Now Destroying Lives is One of The Requisitions To Work For The Media

“A partisan reporter on HuffPost, a Guerilla Ninja, has attacked @AmyMek one of our MAGA family. He wrote a long article, disclosing the real names of her & her husband’s & their address, he called her husband’s employer & made him fire him. This person’s name is Luke O’Brien.
This man definitely needs a lawsuit. There is no way that he obtained her information legally. She didn’t break the law and hasn’t committed any crime. FBI was not after her. Bringing conservatives down has reached a new level.

It has gone beyond boycotting ads & sponsors or making accusations to cancel TV shows or university speech events. Now they are bringing down normal people & exposing their personal information. Reading the vicious comments under her post reveals the liberal insanity has no limit.
If we don’t take these incidents seriously, we will be the next one. You or me, anybody can be a target. The article is clearly written in favor of two dangerous entities: CAIR & George Soros. It implies it is a crime to say Soros has a role in overthrowing countries.

And It also implies it’s a crime to claim CAIR has a role in Muslim extremist gangs. It also says the phrase Cultural Marxism is a Nazi slogan! Never heard such stupid thing in my life. Apparently, the Guerilla reporter has no idea what’s Nazism or Marxism but he has no shame to hide it.
@siderblaze2 has done a great job. Twitter in compliance with the doxxer, deletes Amy’s tweets (just like they do with all conservatives and Trump supporters). He dedicated his time to record tweeter deleting Amy’s tweets in real time. Watch:…”

All media is political and has been this way since the beginning of our country. The first newspapers were created literally by the political parties. The “non-biased” reporting was a marketing gimmick first used by the Failing New York Lies to gain readers. Once this hits like a ton of bricks then understanding begins.

Good point. “Yellow journalism” was a huge phenomenon during the time of Teddy Roosevelt. (I had forgotten the detail that political parties started newspapers – thanks for that.)

It’s only since the illegally-used fake dossier that I have taken to calling it the Yellowstream Media. (Hat tip to some treeper here – pretty sure it was coined at CTH.)

It was always top-down, and the “news” did not and does not originate from the free people of the country.

However, the alternative media we have today – talk radio and the Internet – is the opposite. It’s organic (in the true meaning of a word the left loves to appropriate), bottom-up, and fact-checked constantly by millions of free voices.

  42. The enemedia is building the case that bringing charges against those that violated the law is to be considered weaponization of law enforcement. They specifically do not discuss the laws that were broken. We saw this same thing with McCabe. The case was that he was fired for political reasons and the fact that he violated FBI standards by lying multiple times was not discussed. They’re using the same MO here. There will be no discussion of the laws that were broken, all criminal charges will be characterized as political retribution.

        ______________

        I reckon so.

Assuming that is a reference to Roseanne Barr’s show (I never watched it), I had to look up what she supposedly said that was so terrible.

Nobody seems to want to show the actual Tweet in their ‘news articles’ about the supposedly offensive remark, but apparently this is what she wrote, which the Fascist Glitterati PC Police have deemed ‘Rayciss’:

        ……………………
“muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj”
        ……………………

As usual, they have no point, since there is nothing ‘rayciss’ in the tweet.

islam isn’t a ‘race’, so we can eliminate the first part of the Tweet as having anything to do with being ‘rayciss’.

And Planet of the Apes was about Apes, and Apes aren’t a race either, they are a species.

So there was no racial component to the Tweet.

        There just wasn’t.

Whatever racial element the PC Police claim to have detected in that Tweet was whatever they read into it — which makes it their OWN raycism, making itself known.

It’s as if we’ve suddenly become a nation of idiots, where nobody knows what words mean anymore.

          ……………………………..
          Racist
          noun
a person who believes in racism, the doctrine that one’s own racial group is superior or that a particular racial group is inferior to the others.
          ……………………………..

          …………………….
          Racism
          noun

          1) a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human racial groups determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one’s own race is superior and has the right to dominate others or that a particular racial group is inferior to the others.

          2) a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.

          3) hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.
          …………………….

Roseanne Barr’s Tweet had nothing to with ‘racism’. She didn’t say she believed her own racial group was superior to Valerie Jarrett’s.

She wasn’t making any observation that inherent racial differences determine cultural achievement — Valerie Jarrett was the advisor to the President of the United States, there’s not much ‘higher’ achievement she could have.

She wasn’t talking about any government policy.

She wasn’t making any comment about race at all.

She was making a wisecrack. No more, and no less.

If someone can’t handle a wisecrack — especially a wisecrack that was infinitely less offensive than the remarks the Left makes every day of the week, btw — they should go get a pacifier and a dry diaper change.

It seems that Rosanne is Jewish and she tweeted about:
George Soros being a traitor to the Jews and Donald Trump Jr. retweeted her.

In my opinion it seems Valerie was/is Obama’s handler and Huma Abedin, her next door neighbor was/is Hillary’s handler. John Brennan, ex CIA director and Obama all thought Trump would never win and they are still trying to figure out how to get Hillary in as President and failing that any GOPe person that the CIA can control will do.

She’s too famous and outspoken for them to murder — though it didn’t stop them from murdering Joan Rivers after she admitted that Michelle Hussein was a tranny.

Still, they got to Joan when they still thought Sick Hillary would win, and they would control the FIB and DOJ.

              They didn’t and they don’t.
