Lil Marco looked dumber than Corey Booker today–Asking the soon to be confirmed-but not yet confirmed-TOP DIPLOMAT of the USA-before the new President is Inaugurated if Ole Vlad should be labeled a “War Criminal?”!!! Are you kidding me–Thats about as stupid as electing BO twice!

The wusses and weirdos of Congress are about to an experience a “Don’t Mess With Texas Moment” very soon.

Mr. Tillerson is a consummate Texas born Texan…the drawl, the rearing, the education, the oil business, the works.
[Tillerson was born on March 23, 1952, in Wichita Falls, Texas, the son of Patty Sue (née Patton) and Bobby Joe Tillerson. Active in the Boy Scouts of America for most of his life, he earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 1965.
Tillerson received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1975. During his time at UT Austin, he was involved with the Tejas Club, the Longhorn Band, and Alpha Phi Omega. In 2006 he was named a Distinguished Engineering Graduate. – Wikipedia]

    Tillerson is a Texan’s Texan.

Look out you lying rats and rattlers. Tillerson might take out his silver and ivory six-shooter or casually kick you out of the way with his boots.

Someone posted a few weeks back about serving jury duty with Mr Tillerson years ago. She/he described him perfectly and watching part of the day today really gave me comfort to know he will be the next Secretary of State and rectify the laughing stock status the US currently has from the rest of the world after the unqualified debacles of Clinton & Kerry era.

Tillerson fleshing out his position on climate change, making clear his position is it’s important for the US to keep a seat at the table during those discussions with the global community. But not giving his own value judgement as to climate change itself. This sounds better to me than what he initially said to Cardin at the beginning of the hearings.

You must realize that the corporate mantra given out by mega oil companies like Exxon is to give lip service to climate change to somewhat keep the rabid environmentalists at bay. As someone who worked closely with the Exxon geologists back in the late 70’s and 80’s, they are a oil company above all else, and quite good at what they do. I believe Mr. Tillerson is just giving some lip service to the nitwit Senators.

I want everyone in TRUMP’s Team to go in with one question in mind, is this job required under the U.S. Constitution? IF not, get rid of any and all that don’t fit that criteria. If it is needed that much, someone in the private sector can pick it up. Remember all the non-essentials?

It was just announced they are extending the hearing because Senators (including Rubio) have more questions. This is unprecedented how badly a nominee is treated by his own side, and again I ask, where is the Senate GOP leadership to grab Rubio by the scruff of the neck and tell him to knock it off? The old-time Congressional leaders would have never tolerated this behavior.

They (the congressional bloviaters) lost a good hour or two or more of prime TV airtime today due to the Trump presser. And then, all the CNN denials ate up prized television time…so, now, they must make sure they get their faces on TV sometime today.
Can’t disappoint their fans, dont-cha know.
      These hearings always annoy me.
The Congressional committee members always “speechify” rather than ask relevant questions that should have simple, specific and pertinent answers regarding the responsibilities of the position (for which the person is a nominee.)
And it appears that they sit on a platform of some kind so that they literally look down upon the person they interrogate. It’s really not an interview at all. It’s a witch hunt by both parties.
The entire process is offensive to me and should be to anyone with intelligence.
What on earth could they possibly have experienced or know about these positions that the candidate would not know and understand?
T-Rex (I love that nickname) was CEO of Exxon…a global industry with billions (?) of annual revenue. Marco – well Marco knows how to charge home improvements on credit cards that don’t belong to him.
I couldn’t bring myself listen to Booker. Today, Booker was a tool. And, again,I believe the Senator knows all too well exactly what this position entails.
I have to add this opinion, President Trump was outstanding in his presser today.
      Absolutely outstanding.

Rex Tillerson has a remarkable grasp of world events. Being a full time executive in one of the most demanding jobs in the world, he sure seems to have had time to learn even the minutia of details about countries where Exxon’s oil deals did not require his specific time and energy.

That was a perfect reply by Mr. Tillerson.
I lived in the ME for a few years.
I know what I experienced there. I know what I believe about that culture based on my experiences of daily life there.
I agree with Mr. Tillerson…there has been some slight progress in some of the countries. (Frankly, I personally do not include Saudi in that statement.)
Remember Islam is their religion, their law and their basis for their tribal based culture. We cannot make decisions about that region solely based on our cultural learning experiences. We have to understand their culture…which means Islam.
And just as in Christian religions, there are many different Islamic “religions.”
In my opinion, as a Christian, the two cultures (Western vs Middle Eastern) will always be completely different. Always.
But, I’m sure everyone here already knows this.

Great job by T-Rex today but the demorats seem to worry about global warming like it’s only man’s fault and only man can fix it. The dems took God out of thier platform two years ago and now the EPA is even putting Regulations on a Volcanoes, long responsible for more particulate and sulfur dioxide pollution than all human-caused emissions. States will have to build and install massive “mountain scrubbers” that are expected to remove hundreds of tons of emissions per day during a major eruption. Ridicules, sometimes you have to put your faith in God, he has healed this planet for 4.5 billon years. Man cannot replace God Holy Hands.
