I am deeply offended on behalf of my God. Lord, please save our people. Here’s another little item……Most recently, a book written by Florida A&M professor Barbara A. Taylor called Obama an “apostle” sent by God to create a political heaven on earth. According to the professor, God told her this in her dreams.

“Then, as I began to contemplate ways to assist Barack in his 2012 re-election bid something miraculous happened. I felt God’s (His) Spirit beckoning me in my dreams at night. Listening, cautiously, I learned that Jesus walked the earth to create a more civilized society, Martin (Luther King) walked the earth to create a more justified society, but, Apostle Barack, the name he was called in my dreams, would walk the earth to create a more equalized society, for the middle class and working poor,” she wrote.

“It’s sad, but true, that for many people Obama is ‘lord and savior,’ because the government is their god,” one person commented at the Washington Times.

YOu have BET to tell blacks what to think, how to vote; you have Telemundo for Hispanics; it would be wonderful to have Caucasian Television. White people, I am thinking, need to be reminded they are persons.

The one outstanding lesson that the Jewish people learned and learned hard as a result of their dealings with YHWH in the Old Testament was this: God does not take kindly to other “gods” being put in His place. He does not let it pass. He does not ignore it. He does not think it’s cute or faddish. After the Babylonian captivity which ended in 516 BC there has never been another recorded instance of open or publicly tolerated idol worship in Jewish communities or among Jewish people, when idolatry had been the repeated and common downfall for them prior to 586 BC.

Jeremiah preached for more than 40 years on this one topic, defining the issue and, with a compassionate heart, describing the consequences–without any change in the nation.

    Jeremiah 9:5-6

“Everyone will deceive his neighbor, and will not speak the truth; They have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity. Your dwelling is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me,” says the Lord.

Refusing to know God is a choice. Jamie Foxx has openly declared that choice, identified his substitute for God and has bought himself a peck of trouble. Obviously, Mr. Foxx believes that God Almighty is campaigning for office like his chosen lord and savior. The Sovereign God is NOT campaigning for His position.

The bad news is this: God will not stop being God for fear of displeasing either Barack Hussein Obama or Jamie Foxx. The “good news” for Jamie Foxx is this: he will ultimately end up with just as much of God as he wants.

The Ten Commandments in the King James Version
And God spake all these words, saying, I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
    I Commandment
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
    II Commandment
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
    III Commandment
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
    IV Commandment
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in themis, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
    V Commandment
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
    VI Commandment
    Thou shalt not kill.
    VII Commandment
    Thou shalt not commit adultery.
    VIII Commandment
    Thou shalt not steal.
    IX Commandment
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
    X Commandment
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’ s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

I’d say the idiot smashed I and II to smithereens.

Of course, one must consider the multitudes who have forsaken Christianity altogether, and deny there is even a God.

Mr. Vulgarity would most likely scoff at the Ten Commandments.

He would scoff at you when you bring it up, and then decry the next man who would cause harm to him. Deep down, he knows, just as they all do, the Truth. It’s a matter of wheather or not they choose to acknowledge it as such.

After all, his “lord and savior” absolutely approves of the 47% breaking Commandment Number Ten, and he will support them by breaking Commandment Number Eight.

Any admiration for Jamie Foxx’s entertainment abilities (not a big fan, but he has some talent) just left the building.
I’m beginning to think if Muslims and anyone else with grievances real or perceived can riot, shoot guns and be offended at every little thing THEY choose, why can’t we Christians? We need to step up our game.

I’m glad to see the # of individuals who are instinctively rejecting his blasphemous comment. Perhaps we have under-estimated the remnant of the God-fearing in this nation. God-worshippers in nations who have been under persecution for decades have sometimes said that the United States needed some persecution in order for the Body of Christ to be strengthened–not “wishing it on us” understand–but realizing the cause and effect of having had it too easy.

Tell ya what, it’s becoming more and more a conscious acknowledgement in my thoughts that while I fear God. I do not fear the blasphemers or what they think. Barring some dramatic repentance, Jamie Foxx will be damned by the God He has blasphemed.

I was watching something on television the other night about solar flares and a large number of scientists and others who study and watch this stuff are convinced we will be hit, not for the first time either as this country has been hit just before almost everything in our lives rely on electricity. But they were all convinced this will happen before the first of the year and either part of the country or the entire country will be without power for 3 months up to 3 years.
I told my husband between solar flares and the economic collapse being predicted by economists, I think this country is going to get a wake up call sooner rather than later. Our country has been unlike any other country and God blessed this country for many years because we were a Christian nation. We’ve started turning our back on God(the nation as a whole not every individual), a large percentage of this country including Christians have put their faith in paper money, men and their own greed and wants whether that is sex, television, phones, computers, etc. So I have a sense of doom or whatever you want to call it that God is going to show us all the believers and the non-believers that he is still God. We will depend on God and what God has provided for us to live, not what God provided through man for us.

That makes me crazy in some eyes, but I have always believed God is loving but he also gets angry and I believe this nation has given him plenty to be angry about.

I don’t think you’re crazy. Both believers and nonbelievers often drift into the error of acting as though there is a “God-buffet of characteristics” and we each can choose, according our theology, training or religious perspective, selecting what we prefer– His wrath, His love, His mercy, His power, His Sovereignty, His’ giving us free-will. It doesn’t work that way, as you point out. He is full of wrath against sin and rebellion at all times….

Whatever He is, He is at all times.

“We will depend on God and what God has provided for us to live, not what God provided through man for us.” Yes. Excellent.

The essence of evil is evident in the co-dependency behavior of those who follow its whispers…. Mr Foxx had the option of anything he could ever want to, or choose to say…. his words were unrehearsed, and at the moment of consequence he was a blank slate,…. and what found his tongue?

I do not know of Mr. Foxx, nor his life choices or beliefs as a moral being…. but I do know his weakness – his visible reflection of his soul – he displayed it before God and everyone he values… key words “he values”.

The emphasis is on the wrong syllable…. His intent will perhaps be his demise.

There is no human effort of such strength, not Afirmative Action, not guarded polling stations, not deception lying or cheating, so profound as to protect the consequence from being a willing, albeit visible, vessel of wickedness.

When people become so arrogant that they try to steal God’s glory, they end up with shortened lives, i.e.: John Lennon: “Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink. I needn’t argue with that; I’m right and I will be proved right. We’re more popular than Jesus now…”

Soon they’ll replace the pledge of allegiance at big city schools with:

Our father who art in D.C.
    Peace be upon His name.
    Thy reign has come,
    Thy will shall be done,
    Throughout the country
    As it was in Chicago.
Give us each day our bread and circuses,
And find someone else to pay for them.
    Lead us not into prosperity,
    But deliver us from virtue.
For thine is not the blame for anything that happens,
Not now and not ever. Amin.
