This happened a couple of weeks ago, but the school’s explanation is just weird. “Never intended to isolate or stigmatize”? Well exactly what was the intention then?  Isn’t all negative punishment -at its core- intended to invoke “shame” as a motivator?

GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) — An Oregon school district is reviewing its tardiness punishments after a picture posted on Facebook of a 6-year-old sitting behind a cardboard screen in the lunchroom generated widespread outrage.

The Grants Pass School District issued a statement saying it “is taking the concerns raised very seriously,” and the punishment “was never intended to isolate or stigmatize students.” (more…)

At the tail end of this CNN interview a rather remarkable revelation. John Cook actually emailed Josh Earnest back in 2013 about the Hillary Clinton secret email account.  Cook specifically asked Earnest asking if Clinton’s email comported with the Presidential Records Act and rules of FOIA.

In 2013 Josh Earnest was President Obama’s Press Secretary, he is now the White House Spokesperson. Yesterday Obama denied any knowledge of the Clinton email account.

A writer for Breitbart picked up on it too. (Breitbart) Sunday on CNN’s “Reliable Sources,” John Cook, the executive editor for investigations at Gawker Media, said in 2013, after emails from Clinton to Sidney Blumenthal, a former aide to President Bill Clinton, leaked, he “alerted” White House press secretary Josh Earnest that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was using a private email account.

Two ‘middle eastern” men attempted entry into New York Synagogue. Take pictures of security systems, cameras etc., then hour later reappear at second Synagogue doing the same thing.

NEW YORK – The NYPD’s anti-terrorism unit is stepping up patrol in Brooklyn after police say two suspicious men attempted to enter a synagogue in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn Saturday.

According to the NYPD, the incident happened Saturday around 4:15 p.m. when two men described as Middle Eastern decent, attempted to enter the Beth Yaakob synagogue located at 1801 Ocean Parkway. (more…)

Quick thoughts about substance to Gowdy media appearance:

Hillary has deleted her now infamous avatar showing her on board a military plane en route to Libya.

The picture was taken in 2011 by Time Magazine and titled “Clinton checks her PDA in sunglasses upon departure in a military plane from Malta, bound for Tripoli, on October 18, 2011.” She claims the removal as part of a campaign to raise awareness of women’s rights. However, given the nature of this Gowdy revelation it’s easy to see the real motivation.

(Via Daily Signal) During an appearance on CBS News’ “Face the Nation” today, Rep. Trey Gowdy said there are “huge gaps” in the emails he has received from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton related to the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11, 2012.

[…]  Gowdy mentioned the “iconic” photo of then-Secretary Clinton during that trip, looking at her “handheld device.”
