Several media sources have stated over the past two weeks that France is not happy with the rushed acquiescence inherent within a dangerous nuclear deal with Iran.

Last week, citing her own first-hand (eye-witness) information – CBS’s State Dept. Correspondent, Margaret Brennan, who is traveling with the negotiation team, stated the French contingent was highly concerned about how Secretary Kerry seemed to be rushing for a deal regardless of consequence.

It might seem odd at first to see France being the least favorable to a nuclear deal with Iran, but it’s really not surprising considering how France is positioned politically and militarily.

Current French President Francios Hollande, a self-described socialist, is at his weakest point since election with conservative electoral sentiment surging in France. French nationalists are benefactors from the reality of failed multi-culturalism – especially as it pertains to Islamists who refuse to assimilate and/or accept traditional cultures of France.

It was specifically because the Obama administration predicted French reluctance to engage in diminished nationalist sentiment the Clinton led U.S. State Department launched “The Rivkin Project” in 2010. (more…)

UPDATE:  Investigators confirmed that a note declaring Lubitz “unfit to work” the day of the crash was found in his apartment, and never provided to his employer, GermanAirWings.

Dusseldorf University Hospital has confirmed that Lubitz was a patient there and last received treatment there two weeks before the crash, but denied that his medical condition was related to depression, and stated they had turned over all medical records in their possession to investigators.

Authorities investigating the crash of GermanWings flight 9525 released new information gleaned from materials taken from the dead pilot’s home – evidence they found suggests that the young pilot had an illness which he had hidden from his employer and fellow co-workers.

Germanwings co-pilot Andreas Lubitz appears to have hidden evidence of an illness from his employers, including having been excused by a doctor from work the day he crashed a passenger plane into a mountain, prosecutors said Friday.

(Al Arabia )Fighter jets of Saudi-led coalition forces pounded a Republican Guard camp in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa as Operation “Decisive Storm” continues for the second day targeting Houthi strongholds and their camps on Friday, Al Arabiya News Channel reported.

The offensive comes after powerful explosions rocked Sanaa Thursday night as the coalition forces carried out air strikes against the Shiite rebels who control Sanaa.

Witnesses said an air raid by the coalition forces targeted both Houthi members and supporters of the former President Ali Abdullah Saleh in Al-Istiqbal military camp west of the capital. (more…)

(Via Washington Free Beacon) A legal watchdog group on Thursday asked the Department of Justice to investigate allegations that two senior Democratic officeholders illegally pushed federal officials to reward investors in companies to which they had personal, financial, or political ties.

Investors in those companies eventually received U.S. visas through a federal program despite concerns that they were involved in illegal activities or had tried to hide sources of their income from U.S. immigration officials.

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) and Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D) of Virginia may have illegally facilitated that process at the expense of less politically connected applicants for the same program, according to Cause of Action, a conservative legal watchdog group. (link)

Markus Niesczery of Düsseldorf Police said: “We wanted to search to see if we could find something that would explain what happened.

“We have found something which will now be taken for tests.

“We cannot say what it is at the moment but it may be very significant clue to what has happened.”

Speaking to the Daily Mail, he added: “We hope it may give some explanations.” (read more)

I find it interesting that his social media was scrubbed before his name was released to the press.  He was 28 years old; this obviously implies active concern for content. (Facebook via google cache here) Why would authorities find it important to remove his social media profile ?
