Senate Candidate Christine O’Donnell imploded over a commercial where she said “I’m not a witch“…. Well, apparently candidate for Texas governor, Wendy Davis, is heading down the same path – with a campaign now reduced to, essentially, “I’m not a bitch“.
After running the most ridiculous Campaign AD against her opponent Greg Abbott –essentially trying to frame him as a “bitter cripple” because he is in a wheelchair– she came under enormous backlash for the ridiculously poorly messaged ad.
The Davis campaign recovery attempt is even worse.

Yes, yes – she actually did this.
But wait.  She’s not done.

The Kurdish forces fighting ISIS in Kobane (Kobani) would beg to differ.
Despite the obvious, and well documented, non-support for the Kurds fighting in Kobane, Susan Rice goes on Meet the Press and proclaims the administration strategy is to support them.

“This is very early days of the strategy. The strategy is very clear. We’ll do what we can from the air. We will support the Iraqi security forces, the Kurds, and ultimately over time, the moderate opposition in Syria to be able to control territory and take the fight to ISIL.”

Water is no longer wet.

As part of the store’s grand opening, it was giving away free hair extensions valued between $55 and $100. Shoppers started lining up Friday morning and by 8:30 a.m. there were several dozens of people in line. Pushing and shoving occurred and a pregnant woman was pushed down.

In surveillance video, Orlando police is spotted trying to get the crowd to back up and when they wouldn’t back up, at least two officers started to use pepper spray on the crowd.
Several shoppers tell Local 6 they believe the police overreacted. The Department defended the officer’s actions.
“The officers attempted to gain control of the crowd and restore order however they were unsuccessful, therefore they sprayed over the heads of the crowd to gain control,” a department spokesperson said in an email to Local 6.
The video shows one officer spraying at eye level. There were no injuries.

Gov. Dannel Malloy has signed an executive order effectively enabling the indefinite suspension of civil rights in the state of Connecticut.  He’s given his Commissioner of the Department of public Health the ability to quarantine, or otherwise detain, any person or group suspected of being infected with the Ebola virus. 

Note…all this has been done “preemptively”, because no specific case has yet to be identified.

(Daily Mail) US Airways has sparked outrage after a flight attendant allegedly refused to hang up an Army Ranger and combat veteran’s jacket to stop it from creasing.
First Sargent Albert Marle was wearing a jacket lined with medals when he boarded Flight 1930 from Portland, Oregon, to Charlotte, North Carolina, yesterday.
But when he asked an attendant to hang up his ‘Dress Blues’ uniform, she reportedly refused, saying the coat closet was for first-class passengers only and he was seated in coach. (more…)

SYRIA – The teenage girls who abandoned their families in Austria to become jihadis for ISIS feel they’ve made a terrible mistake by joining the barbaric lifestyle and they want to come home.

Samra Kesinovic, 17, and Sabina Selimovic, 15, are believed to be married, pregnant and living in the Islamic State-controlled city of Raqqa in northern Syria, Central European News reports.

Protesters broke a window at the Medicine Shoppe burned several American flags after taking one from the Beauvais Manor nursing home and threw at least one brick through the window of a home along Flora Avenue. Last week Vice-President Joe Biden told a Harvard audience the Obama administration was aware Qatar was financing Sunni jihadists in Syria 2012 and 2013.  However, the same administration sent the GITMO terrorists to Qatar in 2014? 

WASHINGTON DC – The Army has completed its investigation into Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s 2009 disappearance from his post in Afghanistan that led to his subsequent capture by the Taliban, according to a news report Thursday.

A report by the investigating officer, Brig. Gen. Kenneth Dahl, is now being reviewed by commanders, but will not be released, according to the San Antonio Express-News.
Army spokesman Wayne Hall said the review process likely would be lengthy, and that “the Army’s priority is ensuring that our process is thorough, factually accurate, impartial, and legally correct,” according to the report.
The Army is looking into whether Bergdahl had deserted his post in Afghanistan or was away without leave before he was captured, which would be violations of, and punishable, under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. (more…)
