Last Sunday Pastor Robert Jeffress discussed the nature of violent Islam within his sermon.  Despite the discomfort, it is a discussion long, long overdue.   As stated within his delivery “it is time for us, and for government, to act”.

There is much plain-spoken truth within this 6 minutes.  However, I would nuance the conversation with our own families slightly differently.  While it is essentially accurate to say we are confronting “Radical Islam”, and/or those who believe in “Authentic Islam”, there is a more accurate term for what we face.

The behavior we are confronting is “Islamic Jihad”.  The Islamic Jihad has been a never-ending war against the West.  Christians, Secularists and Atheists alike are all infidels; and as a consequence enemies of, and targets for, the Islamic Jihad.

Lastly, there is something rather significant to consider.   Everyone notices there is a growing anger amid all people, on all sides.  (more…)

Islamic militants waged yet another Islamic Jihad attack in North Africa.  The death toll has now climbed to 19 as the majority of the Western media still refuse to accept the resurgence of the centuries-old jihad.

(Via Reuters) Islamist militants killed 19 people in an attack on a top hotel in the capital of Mali before Malian commandos stormed the building and rescued 170 people, many of them foreigners. Two militants were killed.

President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita announced the death toll and said seven people were wounded in the attack, which has been claimed by jihadist group Al Mourabitoun and al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM). (more…)

Russia leverages the terror-threat-vulnerability of France to take up measures supporting Putin’s strategic goals in Syria… and it works flawlessly.  Meanwhile President Obama is stomping his feet mad that Islam is being attacked and his only ally in support of the Islamic State is BFF Erdogan…

RUSSIA – The United Nations has called the states to fight “a global and unprecedented threat to international peace and security” which is Islamic State (IS, ISIS/ISIL, Da’esh). All 15 members of the UN Security Council voted to adopt the French-proposed resolution.

The resolution “calls upon member states that have the capacity to do so to take all necessary measures … on the territory under the control of ISIL … in Syria and Iraq.”

IS “constitutes a global and unprecedented threat to international peace and security,” the resolution says.

Russia has repeatedly called for action to cut the terrorists’ financial lifelines, with President Vladimir Putin revealing on Monday that IS is receiving funding from 40 countries. (more…)

Via ABC News) Two al Qaeda-Iraq terrorists were discovered living as refugees in Kentucky in 2009. The men later admitted in court that they’d attacked U.S. soldiers in Iraq, ABC News reported.

The investigation showed that Waad Ramadan Alwan was mistakenly allowed to resettle in Bowling Green, home to Western Kentucky University and very close to the Army’s Fort Knox and Fort Campbell.

Alwan and another Iraqi refugee living there, Mohanad Shareef Hammadi, had been detained during the war by Iraqi authorities, federal prosecutors told ABC News. (more…)

What a novel concept. We believe in liberty; we believe in freedom; we believe in the rule of law; we believe in being innocent until proven guilty…. we believe in freedom – but increasingly, our government does not.

It is becoming increasingly clear, there is a clash of ideologies between the Islamic East and the Secular/Judea-Christian West. The former openly declaring war and Jihad, the latter refusing to believe/accept it.

Hillary Clinton gave a BIG National Security Policy speech today in New York at the Council of Foreign Relations.  Everything about the event was such a significant fail, it cannot be accidental.  Everything was a fail, both the optics and the substance.

Secretary Clinton delivered an awkwardly high-school-like speech presented with a particularly concerning unfamiliarity the content.   So bizarre is the delivery that it deserves some highlight.  Here’s the full speech, but you only need to watch the first three minutes.  (Note – pay attention to the wording at 02:40 “Radical Jihadism”):

This is a former Secretary of State;  a person running for the office of the Presidency, and she comes up with “radical jihadism“, seriously?

~ Affirming the Obvious ~

Another western media meme goes *POOF* as the French Prime Minister Manuel Valls on Thursday said some of those linked to the Paris attacks had taken advantage of the chaos caused by Europe’s worst migration crisis since World War II “to slip in” unnoticed.

“These individuals took advantage of the refugee crisis.. of the chaos, perhaps, for some of them to slip in” to France, he said.   “Others were in Belgium already. And others, I must remind you, were in France,” he said. (link)

Under the Paul Ryan approved bill -American Security Against Foreign Enemies (SAFE) Act of 2015– the FBI director would be required to certify the background investigation of each refugee from Iraq and Syria.  And only refugees from Iraq and Syria.  And if you are Syrian and you walk into Turkey to begin applying for refugee status, presto, the bill doesn’t cover you.

The SAFE ACT requires the FBI, along with the secretary of Homeland Security and the director of National Intelligence, to certify to Congress that each refugee is not a security threat. The legislation also requires the Department of Homeland Security Inspector General’s Office to independently assess the refugee approvals.

However, the bill is largely meaningless and well beyond toothless. Senator Sessions (R-AL) noted refugees and migrants from nine different countries have been implicated in terrorism incidents over the past year.  “Ignoring this reality, the American SAFE Act allows the president to continue to bring in as many refugees as he wants from anywhere in the world,” Sessions said previously. 

Perhaps the SAFE ACT would be better named the Kerry/Taylor You’ve Got A Friend Act.  However, pay close attention to the GOP representatives who are “out front” selling the ruse.  Pay attention to them, and pay attention to who they are endorsing:

Earlier today three Syrian males were stopped in Saint Maarten after a flight from Haiti, they were headed to the U.S. and carried fake Greek passports. 

In a similar but separate event today – Five Syrian males were stopped in Honduras, also carrying fake Greek passports, with intentions on crossing the Southern U.S. Mexico border.   And now this….
