Might be important, maybe not…

CALIFORNIA – FOX 11 Photographer Julio Duran says “Hal, they’ve got something.” He was talking about FBI divers looking for any scrap of evidence that may have been tossed in Seccombe Lake in San Bernardino.

The FBI said Thursday it got a lead that Syed Farook and Tasheen Malik had been seen here the day they killed 14 people and injured 22 others in a massacre at the Inland Regional Center (IRC) a week ago Wednesday.

Again, we don’t know what that is. The FBI isn’t saying. But, there have been reports divers may be looking for a hard drive or some kind of electronic equipment.

According to Brian Levin with the CSUSB Center for Study on Hate and Extremism, “Whenever you find electronic equipment that has been submerged you want to keep it in a water environment until the computer sleuth can take it apart and then dry it off.” He says he knows that because he used to be a New York City cop.

Still, no word fro the FBI if what they found was what they were looking for, one of the items on a list or none of the above. We won’t know until they let us know.  (link)
