Congressman Tim Huelskamp appeared on Fox News Sunday today to provide the #NeverTrumpers with a proselytizing butthurt voice in the media cycle. Huelskamp was so proud of himself after the interview, he bragged about it to his #NeverTrump cohorts.
Of course, it goes without saying, corporate Fox News Broadcasting is more than willing to give the location coordinates to a social purity moonbat on a kamikaze mission in order to continue their efforts to sabotage any adversary to Wall Street’s preferred candidate, Hillary Clinton.

It is doubtful you could find a more representative persona (and set of accompanying arguments) for the typical Ted Cruz supporter than Tim Huelskamp.
In the video below the congressman outlines how Donald Trump fails all applied social litmus tests for conservative purity because Mr. Trump is not: religious enough, preachy enough, politically correct enough, and in a general sense is too crass for the moral authority wing of the religious right.
As Congressman Huelskamp outlines, those who are elected to legislate on appropriate bathroom issues, tone and manners, gender roles, as well as appropriate hem lengths, distance between dance partners and the dangers of modern cultural music, are aghast that a republican electorate would consider such vulgar “New York values” (<— yes Alice, he actually said that).

Interesting little development.
(Via Texas Tribune) U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, plans to run for re-election in 2018.
Cruz, who ended his presidential campaign last week, said “yes” when asked Wednesday morning by a reporter in Washington, D.C., if he would seek a second term, according to CNN and The Hill. Cruz’s office later confirmed the exchange.
The announcement adds some clarity to Cruz’s political future following his decision to exit the presidential race on May 3. While Cruz could change his mind, running for re-election in 2018 puts to rest some speculation he would sit out a second term to prepare for a comeback bid for the White House in 2020. (article)
When contemplating the “inevitability threshold” we anticipated last year the Wall Street power brokers would switch to supporting Hillary Clinton if Donald Trump became inevitable.
[…] The Tripwire we identified back in July 2015 remains today. If Wall Street (writ large) views Donald Trump as inevitable, they will re-evaluate –QUICKLY– the opposite side of their controllable coin. Meaning they will evaluate Hillary Clinton.
Wall Street (The U.S. CoC, Tom Donohue, and all varied interests, DNC/RNC et al) set this up as a win/win. A Clinton/Bush strategy. If Trump is believed to be inevitable in victory over Bush, they need to re-evaluate the Clinton side STAT.
Today that outcome begins:

(Via The Observer) Renaissance Technologies, a hedge fund founded by billionaire James Simons, donated over $13 million to Sen. Ted Cruz’s failed presidential campaign. For a guy who’s supposed to be pretty smart with his money, the ROI on that one has got to sting. (more…)
This story is an example why the republican party consistently loses against the progressive left. In response to the ridiculous, albeit recent, NC bathroom laws (which the MSM are having fun bashing conservatives on the head with) the Ted Cruz constituency wants to write bathroom laws into the 2016 republican party platform.
Yes, yes, unfortunately – that’s the modern right-wing cultural GOPe. Look over there, shiny thing, shiny thing… quick, go chase it….. quick make a law to control it…. bathrooms, gays, transgenders… oh noes, the humanity !

WASHINGTON DC – After he lost the Republican nomination, Sen. Ted Cruz’s backers will now reportedly pivot towards trying to gain control of the GOP’s platform during the national convention.
According to The New York Times, top Cruz aide Ken Cuccinelli wrote in an email to supporters urging them to come to Cleveland in July to “protect against liberal changes to our platform.” Cuccinelli confirmed the effort to the Times, telling them that Cruz’s backers seek to protect “movement conservatism,” including a firming of the party’s core positions on abortion and the addition of language regarding transgender bathroom use.
The #NeverTrump team, specifically the punditry within it, are doing what the professionally republican clans do every time they lose. They pout, gnash their teeth, stomp their feet and eventually carry off their football.
They are annoying insignificant gnats full of self-importance that can be cast into a pit of irrelevance. These are the same voices who rejoiced when the were granted audience with President-elect Obama in 2008.
These are also the same insufferable small-minded dolts who stand up at CPAC and applaud House Speaker Omnibus Paul Ryan, while never even thinking about -let alone reconciling- the reality of the last federal budget being passed in 2007.

When was the last time this group assembled their efforts to protest congress spending the 2009 Stimulus year-after-year-after-year. Have you ever even heard them mention it? Did you know our treasury re-spends the trillion dollar ARRA stimulus every year?
Conservatives? Yeah, enough said.
Yes, this group it also includes the intellectually dishonest radio screamer and crony-constitutionalist professional book seller Mark Levin; along with the cheeto-faced religious sycophant and professionally hypocritical Glenn Beck; and we can’t leave out the infamous master of professionally obtuse gaslighting, Rush Limbaugh.
Thanks to Donald Trump, each of these voices are now left flailing wildly in a vain effort to retain their relevance while selling Super Beets.

FYI – Senator Ted Cruz and Governor John Kasich held a secret strategy meeting last Saturday in California (requested by Team Cruz) during the weekend California GOP convention meeting. In addition to a closed door Cruz and Kasich discussion, the meeting was attended by a full national contingent of the professional GOPe.

(CNN) John Kasich is dropping out of the Republican presidential race, two sources familiar with the plan confirmed to CNN.
Kasich’s decision came after he improbably became the last challenger to Donald Trump, who emerged as the presumptive GOP nominee Tuesday night when Ted Cruz dropped out. (read more at CNN)
