Make no mistake, this article by Nicholas Kristof is deflective propaganda.   The fix is in!   The cake is baked!  They just need to protect the administration from the sunlight of what is really going on…..   Get engaged.

Kristof is advocating for President Obama to “get engaged” in the Syrian conflict “as if” he, Obama, is not the primary driver behind the current regime overthrow.   This is political cover and pure propaganda.  Kristof writes:

[…] An intervention can always go awry, and there are legitimate concerns about the behavior of Syrian rebels. It is also true that an election year isn’t an ideal time for an intervention, although on this one Obama could work with Republicans to win bipartisan support.

Look, I’m no hawk. I was strongly against the Iraq war and the Afghan surge, and I’m firmly against today’s drift toward war with Iran. But Syria, like Libya, is a rare case where we can take modest steps that stand a good chance of accelerating the fall of a dictator. And after 17 months, there’s growing agreement that Obama should no longer remain a bystander.

Today Kofi Annan quit trying in Syria.   This is operatively coordinated by the White House via a bunch of divergent usurpers and the Powers-Rice-Sunstein-Clinton-Jarrett-Obama manipulators.    Do.Not.Doubt.  (Kofi Annan is a dumb shit fool who would not be able to coordinate the lighting of a birthday cake, if you followed his career you would know he is nothing but a mere tool, a  pawn; he was used to buy time.)

President Obama waited intentionally to avoid the optic of his administration being visibly embedded until the “radicals”, and I do mean radicals (read the article as requested), had enough outside support show up.  [Egypt, Iran, Afghanistan, and Libya provided the Taliban/al-qaeda troops].   In essence Obama et al were using delay tactics regarding Syria.  Yes, they were waiting intentionally until all the anti-Israeli (al-Qaeda/Taliban mostly) elements were in place.

But the Media Will Not tell you who Assad’s opposition actually is.   It is Hamas aligned Taliban / al-Qaeda elements.

WASHINGTON – Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told lawmakers on Wednesday that a member of an Egyptian militant group labeled by the United States as a terrorist organization was vetted by three U.S. agencies before visiting the White House.

Napolitano said the State Department, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Secret Service all thoroughly examined the Egyptian man, Hani Nour Eldin, before his visit to Washington D.C. where he met with members of Congress and senior administration officials.

Eldin is a member of the Gama’a al-Islamiyya, or Islamic Group, which has been designated by the State Department as a foreign terrorist organization. But Eldin was also recently elected as a member of Egypt’s parliament in the Islamic Group’s political offshoot, the Building and Development Party. (more…)

There are many administration claims that I shake my head when I hear, but this one is perhaps the worst.   It is a complete and utter fallacy to proclaim President Obama’s foreign policy has been even remotely successful.   This is just freestyle off the top of my head, but consider: 

Iran has slaughtered the freedom movement; is now almost in possession of a nuclear weapon, and is now in possession of Top Secret drone technology.   China is test launching ICBM’s from the coastal area of Los Angeles and has formed an alliance with Russia and Euro-asia, not to mention contracts with Canada for energy resources.   Vladimir Putin openly mocks and belittles President Obama in front of Global Allies.    Al-Qaeda is surging in the middle east: Yemen is gone, Egypt is under the control of the Muslim Brotherhood, Libya is controlled by radical Islamists and the al-Qaeda flag flies atop the courthouses in Tripoli and Benghazi.   North Africa is in terroristic turmoil.   Israel is isolated.   Turkey has done a 180 degree turn back to radical Islam.  al shabbab has sent operatives from North Africa into the United States via Mexico.   Obama mocks Netanyahu openly in France to Sarkozy, and France coincidently elects a Socialist.    North Korea is test firing Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles, and has openly engaged heavy artillery fire against South Korea our ally, who we just signed a trade agreement with.  Coptic Christians are being killed in Egypt.   Afghanistan’s President calls our troops on their soil the scourge upon their nation.  Pakistan has become openly hostile to the West and radical Islamists now make decisions.  Chile and Brazil are drilling in the Gulf of Mexico while we refuse to explore and actually ban our own U.S interest companies to drill.   The EU has openly laughed in the face of Timothy Geithner as he attempted to influence European budget reform.  Thousands of tons of chemical and biological weapons are missing from Egypt, Libya and Syria.  At least 20,000 surface to air missiles are now in the hands of AQNA and AQAP.    300 US Marines were sent to Uganda to capture “General Kony” of the Lords Resistance Army, for what? – um, err, FAIL.  I could go on……. but  I think you get the point….. 

WASHINGTON DC – President Obama trumpeted his foreign policy record on Monday, telling a convention of veterans that his administration has spearheaded a “new era of American leadership” that has made the U.S. “safer and stronger and more respected in the world.” (more…)

Hillary was part of, and facilitator for, President Obama’s overriding desire to eliminate the Beacon of Freedom and American influence abroad.   President Obama sat on his hands and watched the slaughter of The Green Party in Iraq (Feb 2010) because his ideological make-up is, as it has always been, for governmental control over the lives of people.   President Obama and his Prog-policies are antithetical to freedom principles.
So in February 2011 when the Arab spring spread from Tunisia to Egypt, it was President Obama and his cohorts against freedom aka: Cass Sunstein, Samantha Powers, Susan Rice, Valerie Jarrett and Pantsuits Hillary, who specifically and intentionally sat on their hands to empower the anti-freedom sharia extremists to take up positioning to corrupt the cries for Freedom – It worked. Has anyone seen or heard anything from Samantha Power?    This new direction being considered is so far beyond hypocritical, the light from where hypocritical starts would never even catch them.
Just think, it was not long ago when Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Senator Obama, John Kerry, Chuck Schumer, et al were foaming at the mouth and seething toward George Bush for contemplating unilateral military action with out UN support.   Those aforementioned progs were demanding UN authorization before Bush could take military action.   Yet, in typical leftist prog fashion, they are now discussing the exact same thing.
And that does not even begin to consider the stupidity surrounding the very “rebels” they are trying to help being specifically known as al-Qaeda operatives implanted into the Syrian resistance.

SYRIA – Hillary Clinton, the US secretary of state, bluntly criticised Russia’s continued backing for President Bashar al-Assad’s regime yesterday. This support was illustrated last night by the disclosure that a Russian cargo ship carrying weapons had docked in Syria last Saturday, one day after the massacre in Houla which claimed at least 108 civilian lives. Memorial Day looming presents a challenging backdrop for pointing out the continuing insufferable stupidity of one very brave military patriot.  But John McCain’s continual protestations for the US to support the Syrian Rebels is beyond ridiculous.
It is well documented that the Syrian uprising, like the Libyan uprising before it, has been co-opted by radical elements of Al-Queda and known terroristic entities that hate Western ideologies in all forms.   The time, if there was one, for assistance, has long since passed.

John McCain said that the past several years have been a “shameful episode in American history” because the U.S. has not become more involved on behalf of rebel forces in several countries across the Middle East since 2009 in response to a question about the United States’ involvement in Syria on Fox News Sunday. It’s been several weeks since we focused on foreign events, and no singular event is more reflective of the total failure of this administration regarding foreign policy, than current day Syria.
Despite the media selling “Foreign Policy” as President Obama’s strength, it is actually his second greatest failure -ALL.OF.IT- second only to economic ineptitude.    In Syria Obama has painted the West into a corner.   The “rebels” fighting against the Assad regime are now primarily al-Qaeda elements under the auspices  of The Al-Nusra Front.   Yet you see the idiots in DC, well, some of them anyway  (like McCain and Lieberman and Ketchup Boy) openly requesting that we arm the rebels.

What are the options left by the action, and inaction, once again of this leading from behind strategy.   a)  support the rebels in defeating Assad, and create a new terroristic and radical Syria in the model of Yemen.   Or,  b)  support Assad in defeating the rebellion, spinning 180 degrees from prior WEST position, and consequently aiding Syria’s #1 ally Iran. (*update for clarity) I’m not saying below that Team Obama has orchastrated the entire construct of the Joseph Krony story line. What I am saying is that they are strategically taking political opportunity with it.
I hate it when I’m deeply involved in a complex drama movie and then “whammo” the entire ending just comes to mind.   Nothing is more frustrating in movie enjoyment than the moment when your brain fires on all synapses and you recognize the inevitable outcome of the storyline you are watching.   Frustrating because there’s still 30 minutes left in the film.   Frustrating not only for me, but for my wife who thumps me on the shoulder each time and says “you ruined it for me again“, “why did you have to tell me”?
Sometimes it just becomes clear.    This is one of those times.

Apparently bombs, artillery, and hailstorms of bullets massacring people to shreds has a propensity to diminish turnout.  Go figure..  But for todays menu of semi-hilarious propaganda we turn to the recent Syrian election.

SYRIA – Stopping themselves short of 100 percent, Syrian television reports that 89.4 percent of Syrians approved the new constitution proposed by President Bashar al-Assad, and that 57.4 percent of the population turned up to vote. It’s hard to tell what’s more unbelievable, since that reported voter turnout is more than the percentage of Americans who voted in the 2008 Presidential Election, ignoring the impossible to ignore fact that many of Syria’s voters are relentlessly being pelted with rockets and mortars.
