The audacity of a Clinton…

Her accomplishments: To hear Clinton tell it, she helped rebuild the U.S. image in the world after the George W. Bush administration badly mangled it.

“The most important thing I did was to help restore America’s leadership in the world. And I think that was a very important accomplishment. We were flat on our back when I walked in there the first time.

“We were viewed as being untrustworthy, as violating our moral rules and values, as being economically hobbled. And we had to get out there and once again promote American values and pursue our interests and protect national security. Because of the eight years that preceded us — it was the economic collapse, it was two wars, it was the war on terror that led to some very unfortunate, un-American actions being taken. The polling was done to create a narrative against the backdrop of her week long book tour.   Rather than “interpret” the poll, we think it’s more valuable to just share it; then let y’all determine whether this poll is such a wonderful discovery for team Clinton.

Personally, I think Question #2 is quite revealing. 68% of national respondents, who self describe as “Leaning Democrat”, want someone other than Hillary in the 2016 race.

It should be noted that since abdicating the position of Secretary of State, and the introduction of Clinton’s ‘fixer’, John “Skippy” Podesta, the White House -and more specifically the activity that flows from within it- is now a synergy of both President Obama and Hillary Clinton’s goals.

Yesterday some pundits and media looked strangely at the non-scheduled meeting between Obama and Clinton as if fodder for grand conspiratorial questioning.

As with most issues the answers are not as complex as they seem.

Then again….  The White House has odd definitions of transparency.  They’ll tell the world when they meet with the CIA Station Chief of Afghanistan but won’t mention the unscheduled meetings with Hillary.

“The White House confirmed that Hillary Clinton had lunch with President Obama today after People magazine tweeted about the meeting – a tweet that has since been deleted.

“The President enjoyed an informal, private lunch with Secretary Clinton at the White House this afternoon,” a White House official said on background in a response to an inquiry from your pooler.  Your pooler also lodged a complaint about the lack of transparency on the meeting with White House Press Secretary Jay Carney.

Mrs. Clinton is proud of accomplishments that no-one, even herself, can name.

“Mythical Accomplishments” should have been the name of her new book.   Then again, maybe she is genuinely proud of the 2010 Global U.S. Apology Tour, as she spent almost an entire year apologizing to heads of state for what was written about them by her State Department team and released by WikiLeaks.

WASHINGTON DC – Hillary Rodham Clinton writes in new excerpts from her upcoming book that she wishes she could go back and reconsider some of her past decisions but she is “proud of what we accomplished” during her time as secretary of state.

Clinton, a potential 2016 Democratic presidential candidate, writes in an author’s note released Tuesday that her four years running the State Department for President Barack Obama taught her about the United States’ “exceptional strengths and what it will take for us to compete and thrive at home and abroad.”

“As is usually the case with the benefit of hindsight, I wish we could go back and revisit certain choices. But I’m proud of what we accomplished,” Clinton writes. “This century began traumatically for our country, with the terrorist attacks on 9/11, the long wars that followed, and the Great Recession. Yes, it’s true that New York Times editor Jill Abramson was recently “fired” and replaced.    However, not because she’s a woman who asked for a pay raise – but rather because she has done the most sacrilegious offense to the towers of progdom, she exposed the falsehood behind the White House claims of transparency.

It’s an easy mistake to make, because much of the recent leftist push has been structured around the so called other sides’ “war on women”, and women’s issues  in general (See #BringBackOurGirls et al and also this).

Yes, indeed the intentional strategy to try and retain power for Democrats and the White house has been to slide “racism” -as a leveraging tool- over a bit, and to make room for “sexism” leverage to take a greater role.    [Democrats always use victimization as substantiation for their social justice campaign and agenda(s).]  With Hillary running in 2016 the shift to sexism serves multiple goals.  (more…)
