Scott Walker Announces 2016 Presidential Campaign….

i-stand-with-walkerBefore most of America knew who Scott Walker was, we supported him in Wisconsin. We supported every aspect of his stand in 2010 against the Wisconsin “Fleebaggers“, the Democrats in the State Senate.

We supported him through the insufferable recall election; we supported him through the State Judicial challenge. We supported him when he was under direct and visible assault from the AFSCME, AFL-CIO, NEA and Wisconsin Teachers Unions.

We put a campaign direct link widget on our website.  We fundraised for Scott Walker.  We stood up for Scott Walker when no-one was paying attention – and continued to stand through three elections.

We no longer support Scott Walker

Walker lost all of our support by hiring Brad Dayspring.

Walker is a Decepticon !

If He Builds It, They Will Come – Scott Walker Leads Growing Field In Iowa….

He could unite the rebel alliance…

IOWA – Scott Walker’s popularity streak in Iowa is real: He’s seven percentage points ahead of his nearest competition in the presidential horse race here, chased by a tight pack of four in a clear top tier: Ben Carson, Rand Paul, Jeb Bush and Mike Huckabee.
Scott Walker 2
Marco Rubio lags in a single-digit scrum, but a deeper look into the numbers shows that if Walker is the hare in Iowa, Rubio may be the tortoise, potentially positioned to pull ahead if he campaigns hard, a new Des Moines Register/Bloomberg Politics Iowa Poll finds.
Walker, a Wisconsin governor known for imposing restrictions on labor unions, hasn’t officially announced he’s running for the White House in 2016, but he’s the first choice for 17 percent of likely GOP caucusgoers in Iowa, making him the one to beat in an oversized field of 16 Republicans tested. Scott Walker Today – Face The Nation…

*Side Note* – It’s more than a little annoying, albeit profoundly predictable, that MSM leftist punditry ask the question “what are your foreign policy credentials?”
I would hope that sooner or later a direct and well spoken candidate would specifically say:

“Credentials?  First, I’m an American; I grew up an American; I learned, live, eat, breathe, and love America; I’m proud of America; I believe America is the greatest free societal and free-market construct ever created in the history of all modern nations….
…..and as a direct consequence I’m an expert in evaluating all foreign influences against what is in the best interests of freedom generally, and our American best interests specifically’….
…..perhaps you have a question about a substantive foreign issue I might be able to answer for you from this perspective?” !!

There would be splodey heads.

The Dangers of Being a Conservative in Wisconsin

Adding to my post about Bill Penzey, Jr., I read this article from National Review titled:
Wisconsin’s Shame: ‘I Thought It Was a Home Invasion’
I thought I had read all there was to read about Democrat political tactics against Conservatives in Wisconsin.  I was wrong.  What they have done under the umbrella of “law” is closer to what happens in totalitarian countries.

On Iran – President Obama Knocks Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker As “Foolish” – Governor Walker Fires Back…

Over the weekend, as part of the administration’s full court press to support the construct of a deal with Iran, President Obama gave an interview to NPR. In the interview President Obama was asked about the deals’ critics and specifically Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin who shared that any agreement with Iran should be reversed by the next president.

President Obama responded by ridiculing Walker, and saying he should “bone up on foreign policy”:

2016 GOP Discussion – Indiana Backdrop…

The reluctance of Continetti to give the label of “establishment” candidate to Jeb Bush is a strategy. A strategy not of Continetti’s construction, but more of Jeb’s team.

This is one of the central nuances we find annoyingly not outlined. Jeb is the “establishment” BIG GOP pick – however, Team Jeb also recognize that such an openly discussed self-evident truth is also a barrier to their victory plan.

Team Jeb’s path is brutally obvious to those willing to accept it. It is not far away from the Romney path, and therefore considered a successful strategy in the GOP primary. (more…)

Righteous – Carly Fiorina Skewers Apple CEO Tim Cook Over Ridiculous Indiana RFRA Hypocrisy…

…”I think this is a ginned-up controversy by people who play identity politics that has divided the nation in a way that is really unhelpful”…

Spot on, albeit a little politely presented.

carly fiorina(Via The Hill) Former Hewlett-Packard chief Carly Fiorina on Thursday blasted Apple CEO Tim Cook’s opposition to Indiana’s religious freedom law as “hypocrisy.”

Fiorina, a potential 2016 GOP presidential contender, said Cook had a double standard and cited Apple’s operations in other countries with controversial laws about gays and women in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.

“When Tim Cook is upset about all the places that he does business because of the way they treat gays and women, he needs to withdraw from 90% of the markets that he’s in, including China and Saudi Arabia,” Fiorina argued. “But I don’t hear him being upset about that.”

Fiorina said his stance exposed a “level of hypocrisy here that is really unfortunate.”
She added that Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act contained “nothing objectionable” and that Cook’s criticism stemmed from “narrow special interests” rather than reality. (more…)

No Joke – Politifact Launches National Investigation Into Scott Walker Claim of Buying Sweater for a $1…

STOP THE PRESSES !! We’ve got to prioritize… you can almost hear the thunderclap declaration inside Politifact.

Iran? Nuclear Weapons? 150+ Christian students slaughtered in Kenya? Another U.S. woman arrested joining ISIS? Research about not having a federal budget since 2007? ….Nope, none of those things. Something far more important for the Politifact people to focus their attention toward.

“Gov. Scott Walker says he bought a sweater for $1 at Kohl’s”

politifact screengrab

O-M-G !! On March 14th Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker said he and his wife paid $1 for a sweater at Kohls after using their “Kohls bucks”.

But, but, but…. not just any sweater; nope, it’s far more dubious a scheme than that, it’s a “brown sweater”!  Oh the humanity – NOW we’re certain the threshold has been breached. (more…)

Wisconsin Teachers Union Group: “All Cops Are Bastards”….

The Wisconsin National Education Association (WNEA) and Service Employees International Union (SEIU) fund a leftist group called “Wisconsin Jobs Now”.

Wisconsin Jobs Now has recently extended their left-wing antagonism efforts toward Madison Wisconsin where Tony Robinson was recently shot by police.

MADISON, Wis. – The National Education Association funded group, Wisconsin Jobs Now, continued its anti-police efforts at a rally it organized Wednesday.

Coming off months of protests against the Milwaukee Police Department, the group — that is also backed by the SEIU — is now targeting police in the liberal haven of Madison, Wisconsin.

Madison Wisconsin Authorities Cower To Political Correctness In Tony Robinson Shooting….

tony robinson 6 mugshotCNN is giddy with praise for the Madison Wisconsin response to the Tony Robinson shooting. Their praise comes as a direct result of the professional political class worrying about the delicate sensibilities of the professionally black Grievance Industry.

The “F**k the Police” crowd and the “#Black Lives Matter” crowd are fully engaged to write a very specific narrative of an unjustified police shooting and the professional race-baiters at CNN are more than happy to be their mouthpiece.

However, the current extent to which CNN is willing to obfuscate the facts is arguably even more entrenched than the Trayvon Martin or Mike Brown shootings.

tony robinson 5 wisconsin capitol

The protesting crowd has now marched to fill the Wisconsin Capitol with their cries of grievance, yet no-one seems to be factually looking -yet again- at the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

Tony Robinson, a convicted armed robbery felon, was assaulting people in the street. He then went inside a building and assaulted the occupants and then the police officer who tried to stop his rampage. (more…)
