A guest on the Michael Dyson show (a director of “Africana studies” at Lehigh University), calls the rioting “understandable” and a “red herring”.
The real issue underpinning the Brown shooting is the failure of the “system” and police officers, specifically….
“They can handle the riot and stop the riot and control the riot,” he said dismissively. “But the real question is can we get our criminal justice system, can we get our police departments, to acknowledge the humanity of black and brown folks?”
He goes on to state the police “abused” their power and “terrorized” the community for “hours”.
Of course, the people in those communities are not responsible for the irresponsible choices they make. Oh noes.
Of course, since this is the end game – handcuffing the responses of any law enforcement officer when dealing with a black suspect – it now makes more sense why Sharpton has taken the lead on this and Crumpster is a player in the background. This is much bigger fish than simply overturning “Stand Your Own”. (Read more...)
NYPD has released security video of a black male in his 20s assaulting a 72-year-old man, who appears to be white, walking down the street in the West Village on Monday afternoon. After the man fell to the ground, police say the suspect ran to the other side of the street to an awaiting black male. Police are now looking for both suspects. (link)
A Spanish missionary priest being treated for Ebola died Tuesday in a Madrid hospital, authorities said.
Spain’s Health Ministry said a day earlier that it had obtained a course of the U.S.-made experimental Ebola drug ZMapp to treat Father Miguel Pajares, 75. Pajares died Tuesday at Carlos III Hospital, the hospital and his order said. The hospital would not confirm that he had been treated with the drug, but his order said earlier that he would be.
He is one of only three Ebola patients thought to have received the experimental drug. The others are two Americans evacuated to Atlanta. (more…)
Nothing says social justice like the backdrop of a cloud of teargas against the running silhouette of an impoverished lad clutching a freshly looted flat screen TV.

First, let me clearly state our severe aversion to engaging in following another exhibition of the professional playbook for racial exploitation. However, that said, for those who do choose to follow the path we can outline the expectation. Remember, for Benjamin Crump this is a business proposition – that’s why he was the one to contact Brown’s family:
While details, specific details, of the Ferguson Missouri shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown, aka Mike Brown, are unknown; what is exceptionally well known is how the Benjamin Crump team will play out the narrative.
We’ll use the Trayvon Martin historical example to show how it rolls. When you engage the Parks and Crump strategy you can anticipate a specific formula: (more…)
The leftist media are a parody unto themselves when it comes to exploiting any opportunity for racial viewership. Ronan Farrow is the modern cultural icon for a couldn’t-be-more-white pundit to espouse his street thug credibility. He knows him some racism.
Liberalism is fundamentally comical when witnessed. These Farrow-types are the same people who railed against a cheerleader/hunter pictured with a dead lion in Africa – Yet oddly lose their voice when confronted with seven-year-old ISIL jihadist pictured proudly holding a severed human head.
(Via Mediaite) MSNBC host Ronan Farrow understands the enormously disparate scrutiny faced by black men for their public appearance or behavior because his mother, actress Mia Farrow, has an adoptive black son.
During a Monday afternoon segment discussing the police shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown, guest Jonathan Capehart suggested that black men have to go extra lengths to ensure their safety in public.
“Don’t run in public,” he said. “Don’t run with anything in your hands. Keep a discreet distance away from white women, lest you get accused of any number of things.” His larger point being that a black male looking and talking a certain way in public could lead to unwanted assumptions or trouble, more so than any other race. Last night in response to a police shooting Ferguson Missouri erupted in riots. During one of the looting episodes the following picture was taken.
Note what is in the waistband of this unhappy protestor. Who apparently wonders why the police would be twitchy during an arrest. #Irony
Missouri Police Shooting – Grandmother says “he was a good kid.
Media reports: “unarmed teen”, “black child”, “about to start college”, “Michael Skolnik”, “NAACP”, “calls for Federal DOJ intervention”, “Eric Holder”, “murder”, “innocent”, “community relations service”, etc …. (CNN) — A friend and witnesses say Missouri teen Michael Brown was unarmed and had his hands in the air when a Ferguson police officer shot and killed him, but that account is in dispute.
“The genesis of this was a physical confrontation,” Jon Belmar, chief of the St. Louis County Police Department, said at a Sunday news conference.
The officer tried to leave his vehicle just before the shooting on Saturday afternoon, but Brown pushed him back into the car, “where he physically assaulted the police officer” and struggled over the officer’s weapon, Belmar said.
A shot was fired inside the police car, and Brown was eventually shot about 35 feet away from the vehicle, Belmar said, adding few details because he didn’t want to “prejudice” the case. (more…)
