The FCC has approved “net neutrality” regulations and in effect now weaponized the internet. The foundation to make the internet a political weapon -to be used like the IRS- is now established. It will only be a matter of time before political opposition sites, defined by the Obama administration as “the enemy”, will be more difficult to access. 

I wonder if they will let us see the regulations now they have passed them?

The agency’s three Democrats voted to approve Chairman Tom Wheeler’s net neutrality order, which would treat broadband like a utility to ensure all Web traffic is treated equally. The commission’s two GOP members, Republican lawmakers and the nation’s telecom giants oppose the rules, saying they will dampen innovation and investment. The Associated Press is outlining the construct of the final negotiations between the U.S. and Iran. In essence, the short version is that Iran is going to be able to produce nuclear weapons, period.

GENEVA (AP) – The United States and Iran are shaping the contours of a deal that would initially freeze Tehran’s nuclear program but would allow it to slowly ramp up activities that could be used to make nuclear arms over the last years of the agreement’s duration. (read more)

Despite the incredible ramifications, and the very predictable arms race now virtually certain in the region, this should not come as a surprise.

Iran had to work swiftly, while President Obama was still in office and the U.S. is in a weakened state, due to the specifically intentional policies of the Obama administration. There have been many indicators of this outcome over the past several months and years.

Typical Democrat. Buried deep inside a Politico article -outlining a possibility of Debbie Wasserman-Schultz running for a Senate seat- you find the following paragraph’s. Emphasis mine:

POLITICO […] Throughout her time as chair, Wasserman Schultz has turned off colleagues, other top Democrats and current and former staff for a management style that strikes many as self-centered — even for a politician — and often at the expense of the DNC or individual candidates or campaigns. Many top Democrats, including some she counts as supporters and friends, privately complain about her trying to use the DNC as a vehicle for her own personal promotion, and letting her own ambition get in the way of larger goals.

Wasserman Schultz has a different sense of herself. According to people who spoke with her, when she sensed Obama was considering replacing her as chair in 2013, she began to line up supporters to suggest the move was both anti-woman and anti-Semitic. Under fire last fall for her leadership, she took Obama’s decision not to remove her then as evidence of renewed strength and said she was confident no one could get her out of the DNC before her term is over at the beginning of 2017, according to sources who’ve spoken with her. UPDATE 7:00pm: A Minneapolis police officer was shot this morning in what the police department believes to be a targeted shooting; that is, he was shot at specifically because he was a cop.
Officer Jordan Davis and his partner were responding to a burglary when Davis was shot standing around the police car. He was rushed to the hospital and other officers ended up arresting Andrew Neal (pictured here –>).
Police Chief Janeé Harteau believes Davis was targeted, saying, “There is little doubt that an officer was the intended target of this shooting and that this officer just happened to be the one who was there. This is a reminder to all that every one of our officers face such danger simply because they choose to wear a uniform.”  (link)

(CNN)—A Minneapolis police officer sitting in his patrol car was shot Saturday morning, and Police Chief Janee Harteau said “there is little doubt that an officer was the intended target.”

The wounded officer was one of two who had just finished responding to a reported burglary when he was shot just before 5 a.m. (6 a.m. ET), Minneapolis police said in a statement. His partner promptly drove him to a nearby hospital, where he was in stable condition later Saturday morning. (more…)

The one constant in an ever changing universe continues to be that anyone in governmental leadership, who is insufferably horrible at their job, will always get promoted.
Today the White House announces that top State Department spokesperson, Jen Psaki, has been promoted to top communications job in the White House.   Hashtag diplomacy comes to the White House.

However, simultaneously it is also reported that Marie Harf will not take Psaki’s job. Apparently, Harf failed her test run miserably this past weekend when she was on tour promoting the “Jobs for Jihadi’s” program talking points.
What was supposed to be an opportunity for Harf to show how she could handle the job of selling Secretary of State John Kerry’s grand paradigm shift, instead ended up creating a week of ridicule for Kerry and his boss, President Obama. (more…)

The Seattle Times waxes philosophically about gender issues within the graduation ceremony for High School students. Apparently, in years gone by, boys and girls wore differing color robes for graduation.
Now, amid the multi-cultural progressive dynamics of disingenuous gender labeling, they appear perplexed as they study the potential ramifications inherent within a singular color robe to protect the delicate sensibilities of trans-somethingorother.
Obviously the higher education authority is committed to the progressive mind now grasping to reconcile the challenge of how to retain little boxes they use to define each young member of society, yet affording a cohesive sense of unity – or something equally stupid.

[…] The band strikes the first note of a processional song. Then come the students two by two — girls draped in green robes, boys in black. For the whole event, the girls sit separate from the boys on opposite sides of a wide aisle.

Five other Seattle high schools graduate in a similar way, with gender-specific gowns. At least one school in Shoreline and two in the Lake Washington School District do, too.

Putting former Harvard University Professor Ashton Carter in charge of the U.S. Military for the last two years of President Obama’s tenure will show what happens when a person with ZERO military experience becomes Defense Secretary.

Carter is an academic policy wonk of the same mindset and world view as Samantha Power (now UN Ambassador and wife of former Regulatory Czar Cass Sunstein). That comparative will become more evident as the next two years progress. There is nothing about Aston Carter, nor his individual opinion of the military, which would lend a person to believe there is any inherent qualification which would benefit the Defense Department.
To the contrary, Carter should be fully anticipated to weaken the Military, through policy, in the same way that Samantha Power has influenced foreign policy to diminish U.S. influence globally. He begins the process immediately with a decision to have a civilian, non-military, spokesperson represent the public face of the Pentagon. (more…)
