The New York Times reports that middle class Obama voters are less than happy with finding out that their private plans are being cancelled, and that the Obamacare plans are much more expensive than their private coverage.
The Times describes them as “frustrated”. (!)
…. “We are just right over that line,” said Ms. Chapman, who is 54 and does administrative work for a small wealth management firm. Because their plan is being canceled, she is looking for new coverage for her family, which includes Mr. Chapman, 55, a retired fireman who works on a friend’s farm, and her two sons. “That’s an insane amount of money,” she said of their new premium. “How are you supposed to pay that?”

“How could a Christian nation, almost 100%, elect a monster like Hitler? The truth is, at the beginning, Hitler did not look like or talk like a monster at all. He talked like an American politician ….”

Methinks ValJar doth protest too much. Apparently there is a lot of scrutiny surrounding the abysmal approval ratings for lip-syncing Milli Vanilli Obama. Scrutiny which leads to band director Valerie Jarrett trying to parse a position as merely an abject observer and not participant in the scheme. W-h-a-t-e-v-e-r.
WASHINGTON DC – Valerie Jarrett says she has “very specific responsibilities” in the Obama White House and focuses on them, rather than on an all-encompassing portfolio.
“I’m not the shadow chief of staff,” she said, responding to the use of the term by POLITICO’s Ben White at a Morning Money breakfast.
She mentioned her roles in outreach to women and girls, and to the business community and local government officials.
Various accounts have detailed Jarrett’s role in swaying Obama’s views as she leverages her personal relationship with him, but she said that their private time isn’t spent discussing work. “We do compartmentalize,” she said. (more…)
Milli Vanilli stopped doing live concerts as soon as the audience became aware they were lip-syncing.
Look at his face as President Edsel is being questioned. Then listen to what Obama actually says in his response. “I’m not concerned with polling, I don’t pay attention to polling” [… seconds later …] “When I was a senator I was polling at 70%“. Think about it.
Quickly ducking out of town just as Kathleen Sebelius announces that anyone who lost their insurance coverage as a result of Obamacare can opt-out of coverage and claim a hardship waiver.
Yes Alice, Obama IS Pajama Boy, Chicken-Pajama Boy !
WASHINGTON DC – The Obama administration on Thursday night significantly relaxed the rules of the federal health-care law for millions of consumers whose individual insurance policies have been canceled, saying they can buy bare-bones plans or entirely avoid a requirement that most Americans have health coverage.

The surprise announcement, days before the Dec. 23 deadline for people to choose plans that will begin Jan. 1, triggered an immediate backlash from the health insurance industry and raised fairness questions about a law intended to promote affordable and comprehensive coverage on a widespread basis.
The rule change was issued in a bulletin from the Department of Health and Human Services. It is the second major response by the Obama administration to a public and political furor that erupted in the fall when several million people who bought their own insurance began to receive notices that their policies were being canceled because they fell short of new benefit standards. A video of HHS Kathleen Sebelius is making the rounds on social media and blogs. In the video she admits that “some will pay more” for health insurance under the ObamaCare program.
Cut to chase. Get down to brass tacks. Stop the BS. Say what is. She says “some”.
Here’s what is taking place – If you had insurance prior to ObamaCare you will pay more, period. (more…)
(Via Allahpundit) Here’s Matheson’s announcement. He’s only 53 years old. Either there’s some as-yet-unknown bad news that’s forced him out or, as a Democrat from Utah, he’s tired of fighting for his political life every two years.
In 2002 he won his race by fewer than 1,700 votes. Last year, against tea-party favorite Mia Love (pictured) and with Mitt Romney at the top of the ballot, he won by fewer than 800 — despite having trailed in one poll by 12 points heading into election day.
Love already declared in May that she’d challenge him again next year; maybe he looked at the political landscape, especially with what’s in store for ObamaCare, and figured he might as well retire before the voters eventually retire him. (link)

Looks like there’s another congressional seat who doesn’t want to Run on the new Pelosi/Wasserman-Schultz campaign message pictured here in this logo.
