5th Circuit Court Of Appeals Hears Obama Immigration “Executive Action” Appeal…

Texas Judge Hanen previously blocked execution of President Obama’s “executive action”, the DOJ now seeking to eliminate the injunction….  Hanen is well positioned to have his decision upheld.  However, like all Obama action – nothing is ever actually safe, just because the law is being followed.

(Via Associated Press) Federal appeals judges on Friday peppered lawyers on both sides with questions in a fight over President Barack Obama’s move to shield millions of immigrants from deportation.

A 5th Circuit Court of Appeals panel held a special hearing in a closely watched case that is holding up Obama’s immigration action.

A coalition of 26 states, led by Texas sued to block the plan. The hearing was on an appeal of a Texas judge’s injunction.

The Justice Department argued that Texas has no legal standing in the matter. Texas’ solicitor general countered that granting legal status to immigrants will be costly for Texas.

The judges did not rule and took the case under advisement. (more…)

Garry Kasparov Discusses President Obama Foreign Policy: “I think we are now facing disaster beyond belief”…

Garry Kasparov: Negative impact. I think we are now facing disaster beyond belief. Obama should understand that normalization of relations with any country means a two-way street. And now we can see it in only one way. The deal with Iran, we hear two opposite stories. And not just about little things here or there; not commas and a couple letters.

You know, the fundamental differences in most of the substantial points in the deal. Then he shakes hands with Raul Castro. Shaking hands with a dictator, you know a hand covered in blood. You have to get something in exchange. There are still hundreds and hundreds of political prisoners in Cuba. It seems Obama wants his PR opportunities and he’s furiously defending his policy attacking GOP, attacking… while offering an olive branch to those who are attacking the values of the free world around the globe.

Fitting Irony – Maya Angelou USPS Stamp Features Stolen Quote Not Actually Hers….

In an irony befitting only a rabid President Obama supporter, the USPS is releasing a stamp to honor Maya Angelou. The only problem is the quote accompanying the image of Mrs. Angelou is not actually hers – it’s a fraud.

maya angelou stamp fraud

The stamp features the quote: “A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.” Apparently the USPS was trying to highlight a 1969 book authored by Angelou titled “I know why the caged bird sings“.

But the actual quote does not belong to Angelou. The quotation on the stamp is from “A Cup of Sun”, a 1967 poetry collection by children’s author Joan Walsh Anglund. When Anglund was contacted by the Washington Post she admitted the quotation was actually from her own writing, and not from Maya Angelou. (more…)

Obama Administration Wins Immigration Court Battle – Mississippi VS U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security…

ObamaDearLeaderThe Fifth District Court of Appeals upheld the dismissal of a lawsuit against an Obama administration DACA program – delaying deportations of illegal aliens who came to the U.S. as children. This is a different case than the challenge as to whether President Obama’s expanded immigration executive actions can proceed.

In today’s decision the court ruled plaintiffs’, the state of Mississippi and agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), did not provide enough evidence to prove they were harmed by the 2012 Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program that allows qualifying illegal immigrants to apply for work permits. On Iran – President Obama Knocks Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker As “Foolish” – Governor Walker Fires Back…

Over the weekend, as part of the administration’s full court press to support the construct of a deal with Iran, President Obama gave an interview to NPR. In the interview President Obama was asked about the deals’ critics and specifically Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin who shared that any agreement with Iran should be reversed by the next president.

President Obama responded by ridiculing Walker, and saying he should “bone up on foreign policy”:

Of course it is. Something that doesn’t factually exist can be just about anything you determine it to be. If an elephant walks through your front yard, how many pancakes does it take to fill a canoe?

(Via The Hill) The nuclear deal negotiated with Iran is a “forever agreement” that will last well beyond the next decade, Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz said Monday from the White House briefing room.

Moniz, who played a key role in negotiating the nuclear pact in Switzerland, said the framework agreement provides for intrusive inspections that would ensure Iran is not racing to build a nuclear weapon. (more…)

Inconvenient Truths From Jeanine Pirro…

Why Is Iran’s Version of “The Deal” So Different From Obama/Kerry’s Version?

If you are unfamiliar with the fraud that was the UAC Humanitarian Crisis of 2014, what we outline here might not make sense.  However, for those who do understand that prior fraud there are similarities to point toward.

The New York Post outlines “The Deal” with Iran, or more appropriately stated “the outline”; and points out the stark differences between what President Obama and Secretary Kerry are claiming against the claims of Iran.

Obamakerry iran

Both can be reconciled if you accept the historical reality that everything the Obama administration does and says has to first pass through a domestic political prism.

Passing through that prism, the truth and reality separate.   As Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber honestly admitted, ‘the truth becomes what they say it is’.

After looking at the totality of events that flowed since August of 2014 when New York Times author Thomas Friedman interviewed President Obama:

[…]  On Iran, the president said the chance that American efforts to strike a deal on nuclear weapons is “a little less than 50-50,” in part because some Islamic leaders may fear such a pact would loosen their grip on power.

“That may prevent us from getting a deal done,” Mr. Obama said. “It is there to be had. Whether ultimately Iran can seize that opportunity — we will have to wait and see, but it is not for lack of trying on our part.”  (full article link)

From that moment forward the entire construct of “a deal with Iran” took on a shift.  The administration focused on talking about “compliance” efforts, the Iranian’s focused on talking about “the removal of sanctions”, and internally to their own domestic audience, toward “maintaining their program”. WaPo Editorial Board: Obama’s Iran deal falls far short of his own goals…

The Washington Post is not buying the fraud either.  When President Obama loses the Post editorial staff you know something is fundamentally changed.

facepalm-ObamaThe Washington Post – THE “KEY parameters” for an agreement on Iran’s nuclear program released Thursday fall well short of the goals originally set by the Obama administration. None of Iran’s nuclear facilities — including the Fordow center buried under a mountain — will be closed.

Not one of the country’s 19,000 centrifuges will be dismantled. Tehran’s existing stockpile of enriched uranium will be “reduced” but not necessarily shipped out of the country. In effect, Iran’s nuclear infrastructure will remain intact, though some of it will be mothballed for 10 years. When the accord lapses, the Islamic republic will instantly become a threshold nuclear state.

That’s a long way from the standard set by President Obama in 2012 when he declared that “the deal we’ll accept” with Iran “is that they end their nuclear program” and “abide by the U.N. resolutions that have been in place.” Those resolutions call for Iran to suspend the enrichment of uranium. Instead, under the agreement announced Thursday, enrichment will continue with 5,000 centrifuges for a decade, and all restraints on it will end in 15 years. (more…)
