Her action is nothing dissimilar to President Obama who took control of census data in order to manipulate employment and healthcare statistics.   Or, in Miami-Dade how the School Superintendent manipulated criminal reports to avoid uncomfortable student statistics about unlawful behavior.    We are in a time where manipulating data is the chosen method to avoid reality of progressive policy.   In this case of Veteran’s affairs however, the manipulation killed people….. 

ARIZONA – Veterans Affairs official accused of keeping double books to hide the fact that dozens of veterans died awaiting care previously ran a Washington state VA facility that allegedly fudged suicide numbers, FoxNews.com has learned.
Sharon Helman, director of the Phoenix Veterans Affairs Health Care system, is accused with other management officials of keeping a fake waiting list that made it appear sick veterans were being treated in a timely manner — while hiding the real list that showed up to 1,600 sick veterans were waiting months to see a physician. Rep. Jeff Miller, R-Fla., chairman of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs, said investigators have evidence that two sets of records were kept by the facility to conceal the lengthy delays in care. Actually a bigger aspect to this story is *where* the training base is located.   Previously almost all reports were saying the East of Libya, Benghazi, Darna et al, were the Islamist/al-Qaeda strongholds.    The U.S. state dept had proclaimed that Western Libya was moderate and friendly to the West.
This media report contradicts the White House and State Dept. and puts al-Qaeda solidly on the outskirts of Tripoli.

Something optically devastating is looming on the Chicago skyline, and it looks remarkably like Detroit 2.0.

CNN has been running a network series “Chicago”.   They’ve been trying to frame an apologetic and sympathetic narrative around former White House Chief of Staff and current Chicago Mayor, Rahm Emanuel.     They couldn’t have picked a worse time to try and sell the propaganda. 
In what can only be called ‘grandiose irony’,  facts on the ground run counter to the CNN narrative.   So much so, that Chicago is becoming a parody of itself.   The educational system is collapsing with unions entrenched in budgetary battles demanding more and more graft while students fail at astonishing rates.   Constructs of society are collapsing and crime, violent crime, is increasing exponentially;  spurred on by violent gang activity, and it’s spreading.   
Easter weekend 44 people shot, 8 dead, and no-one is brave enough to actually discuss the root cause.   The politically correct talking points don’t let you dare point out the fatherless wild thugs running amuck.   Families who do believe in the strength of a two parent household are fleeing the metropolis for safer life elsewhere.  
Chicago, the self described home of President Obama, where he never visits, is dangerously close to becoming a political liability; and if there’s one thing this White House excels at – it’s controlling political risk.    Chicago is another petri-dish for the dangerous consequences of Democrat social engineering to gain publicity.

Sharyl Attkisson has stepped on the dangerous 3rd rail.   As a consequence of discussing the liberal bias which she fled she’s exposing the corrupt leftist constructs of coordination to promote liberal propaganda.    Now the monolithic media machine is coming for her.

(Via GWP) […]  What stood out in Attkisson’s comments about Media Matters, made in an interview with Brian Stelter on CNN’s Reliable Sources that was broadcast on Sunday, was the revelation that Media Matters helps produce news reports for CBS News—and given the matter of fact way Attkisson mentioned it—presumably other liberal news outlets as well.
It is widely known that Media Matters ‘works the refs’ in media–trying to spin reporters to discredit conservative media, talk radio personalities and politicians and to report favorably on Democrats.

Last December during a town hall meeting hosted by Al Sharpton and the National Action Network in Chicago to address gun violence something unexpected happened.
The audience almost exploded into a revolt against: “Chicago Machine” politics, Mayor Rahm Emanuel and a black alderman in City Hall.   The surprise came with a panel and audience members calling to actually vote out their elected officials.
One 82-year-old preacher even called for “Tea Party” style meetings in some of Chicago’s south side communities such as Altgen Gardens and Trumbull Park. (via Breitbart)

When the supporters of the Bundy family stood in the road they demanded to know what federal agents were doing with a convoy of dump trucks and back hoes.  In response the supporters  were thrown to the ground, tazed and met with attack dogs and automatic weapons.   BLM goons pointed machine guns and sniper rifles at supporters to keep them away.   Why were the questions about the equipment so troubling to answer:

Finally someone, actually Howard Kurtz, asks the question that many people want to know the answer to.

BACKSTORY – For those who might not have paid attention over the past two years, Sharyl Attkisson was doing some great investigative reporting on the DOJ, Eric Holder and Fast n Furious gun running scandal. Her reporting then shifted to look into what actions were taken by the DOJ *AFTER* the scandal broke, and the wagon circling around the White House began.
Then, in the fall and winter of 2012 and 2013 Sharyl began looking closely at the Benghazi fiasco.
In the midst of her investigative reporting (May 2013) a mysterious series of hacks began into her computers both at home and at work, in addition her phone was tracked and hacked.
CBS publically admitted in June of 2013 something nefarious was going on.   Sharyl reported after several weeks of looking at the issue she knew ‘what’ and/or ‘who’ was to blame.

Back in 2011 the Obama administration and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geitner were furious that S&P downgraded the U.S. bond rating based on debt and inability to confront through budgetary reforms. A few months after the downgrading announcement the DOJ announced a $5 Billion lawsuit against S&P.
Last week a federal judge, David Carter, ordered the Justice Department to provide documents relevant to S&P’s contention of retaliation.   Not surprisingly this inconvenient legal matter skipped the nightly news cycle.
[Judge] Carter ruled that S&P was entitled to find out whether the administration’s angry reaction to the downgrade contributed to the decision to sue only S&P. The judge cited an August 2011 phone call allegedly placed by then-Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner to Harold McGraw III, the chairman and chief executive officer of McGraw-Hill, S&P’s parent company.
In a sworn affidavit, McGraw said that Geithner deplored the downgrade as wrongheaded and unpatriotic. Carter said S&P deserved access to documents that might shed light on whether Geithner’s pique, as McGraw has described it, had any connection to the subsequent decision to sue S&P. (more…)

Some folks are looking at this as the feds investigating Wendy Davis because she is a corruptocrat. Not me.

I look at this as the FBI pulling in the Davis file to protect her history “within the investigation” from FOIA requests. In essence the FBI probe provides a reason for the Travis County DA’s office to deny releasing a previously “closed” investigation file.

Folks need to adjust the focus on the binoculars.  It’s the new normal – ie. how the highly charged political Eric Holder DOJ roll.

AUSTIN — Documents related to Sen. Wendy Davis’ work as a lawyer for the North Texas Tollway Authority are part of an FBI inquiry of the agency, Travis County officials say.
It’s not clear whether Davis’ work for the tollway authority is a focus of the FBI or only part of the material collected in connection with its look into tollway agency operations.
The Travis County district attorney’s office said last month that details from its review of a 2012 complaint that a rival filed about Davis’ legal and political activities were “the subject of an open investigation” by the FBI.
