Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will receive the death penalty for his role in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing that killed three people and injured more than 200.
Tsarnaev was found guilty on all 30 charges in the bombing and its aftermath by the same jury in April. The jury had to unanimously agree to sentence him to the death penalty. (Story)

IOWA – […]  Three Cedar Rapids men and a woman were arrested and each had an initial appearance in U.S. District Court Tuesday. They each face two charges of delivering a package or container to a common carrier without knowledge that it contains firearms and ammunition and conspiracy.

The defendants are: Ali Herz, 50; his brother, Bassem Herz, 29; his son, Adam Herz, 22; and Sarah Zeaiter, 24, the spouse of Bassem Herz. All told U.S. District Chief Judge Linda Reade they were U.S. citizens, except Zeaiter – she was born in Lebanon. Reade also said Zeaiter was unemployed, a “student” and had no assets, according to her financial affidavit for a public defender. Her co-defendants also appeared with public defenders. (more…)

I can’t watch Sean Hannity any longer. His interview (‘interuptus’) style has deteriorated so much in the past two years that his show seems to be nothing but abject anxiety, and horrible one-dimensional punditry. Sean Hannity may have a good heart, and he might be a great guy, but his current TV disposition is nothing more than a modern day Morton Downy Jr. sans the cigarettes.
However, that said, Pam Geller appeared on his “set-up” last night as Sean welcomed back the prolific and ever controversial Muslim Imam Anjem Choudary. Reports are Choudary advocated for Geller’s demise:

Oh boy, this report won’t go over well with the lynch mobs on the streets, or the pundits demanding a pound-of-flesh in the Cable TV media…. Oh, and that “gang truce” thing doesn’t stand a chance.

(Via Washington Post)  BALTIMORE — A prisoner sharing a police transport van with Freddie Gray told investigators that he could hear Gray “banging against the walls” of the vehicle and believed that he “was intentionally trying to injure himself,” according to a police document obtained by The Washington Post.
The prisoner, who is currently in jail, was separated from Gray by a metal partition and could not see him. His statement is contained in an application for a search warrant, which is sealed by the court. The Post was given the document under the condition that the prisoner not be named because the person who provided it feared for the inmate’s safety.
The document, written by a Baltimore police investigator, offers the first glimpse of what might have happened inside the van. It is not clear whether any additional evidence backs up the prisoner’s version, which is just one piece of a much larger probe. (more…)

Before the flames even subsided the institutional media began to advance a more sympathetic narrative.  Quickly, necessarily, changing the imagery from rioting thugs holding rocks, bottles and Molotov cocktails to pictures of little black boys handing water bottles to riot police and other optics more conducive to selling a victimization story.
But that’s all it is, a story – more polish on the Potemkin Village known as Baltimore.
The truthful reality is what you won’t see discussed by Don Lemon, Anderson Cooper or Marc Lamont Hill.

The media continue to ask the question of why the police in Baltimore are not doing more to stop the violence and rioting throughout Baltimore. The answer is quite simple. Baltimore has been the bastion of political correctness and wilful blindness toward race-based violence for several years. Officials cannot now expose something they have tried to hide for almost a decade.

The City of Baltimore is comprised almost entirely of black leadership. The Mayor is black, the police Chief is black, almost the entire city council is black, the law enforcement community is mostly black – yet the rioting masses continue to say they are oppressed. White Homeowners around the Baltimore community are now subject to home invasions by mobs of blacks seeking reparations.
8:15pm Looting continues throughout Baltimore neighborhoods.  In an effort to protect their businesses from looting the community is putting up signs to notify the intended looters of which businesses are white and which are black owned. Apparently this is to direct the rioting mob toward targeting only the non-blacks.

Baltimore police are warning that there is a “credible threat” to “take-out” law enforcement officers, according to a press release from the Baltimore Police Department. The Black Guerilla Family is the same group who put out the call to assassinate police in New York City resulting in the death of NYPD officer Rafael Ramos and Officer Wenjian Liu.

The Black Guerilla Family group, formed in the 1960s in the California prison system, recently surfaced on the East Coast and Maryland, where members are at the heart of a drug-trafficking and corruption probe within the Baltimore prison system. (more…)

A counter-event being held today at VSU is anticipated to draw 4,000+ patriots in support of the Stars and Stripes. Todays event follows the publicity of a militant black supremacy group who were walking on, and burning, the USA flag for several days on campus last week.

The leader of the student group who was originally protesting, Eric Sheppard Jr., remains wanted by police for violent threats and firearms violations.  Weapons were found in his backpack on the school campus.  Sheppard fled the campus before police could arrest him. It is rumored Eric Sheppard is in hiding amid several organizations sympathetic to his ‘Islamic radicalization’ cause.
The sunlight upon the campus recruitment for Islamic Radicalization has brought an uncomfortable discussion into the backstory surrounding the events. According to local speculation the Nation of Islam and New Black Panther Party sympathizers are assisting Sheppard in avoiding law enforcement.
Had it not been for an Air Force veteran, Michelle Manhart, bringing national attention to the group – the activity taking place on the VSU campus would never have been scrutinized. (more…)
