TEXAS – The Obama administration has been helping to facilitate a series of events nationwide at Mexican Consulate offices to enroll people in Obamacare – and a key activist says the efforts are “our responsibility” regardless of citizenship.

“Whether they’re Mexican nationals or whether they’re United States citizens or whether they’re in transition– and if they’re there it is our responsibility within all of America to educate on the Affordable Care Act,” Enroll America Field Organizer Jose Medrano told Breitbart News on Wednesday.
Health Care insurance navigator groups hosted an Obamacare enrollment fair on Tuesday in the Mexican Consulate’s Brownsville office, The Rio Grande Guardian reported last Friday, where Mexican nationals among others were counseled about enrolling in the ACA.

That headline is not a joke folks.    By now everyone should be well acquainted with the term “disparate impact”, and how it’s being used.  This border fence application is just another example of the irrational logic within the legal argument of “disparate impact”.
In essence the fence is unlawful because: 

A fence constructed to secure the Southern U.S. border would result in more Hispanics being impeded or blocked, as a percentage of all illegal border crossers, than non-Hispanics.    Therefore the fence has a disparate impact on Hispanics and it’s use is illegal.

FEDERAL RULING – A Homeland Security initiative to put fencing along the U.S.-Mexico border could discriminate against minorities, according to an Obama-appointed federal judge who’s ruled that the congressionally-approved project may have a “disparate impact on lower-income minority communities.”
This of course means that protecting the porous—and increasingly violent—southern border is politically incorrect. At least that’s what the public college professor at the center of the case is working to prove and this month she got help from a sympathetic federal judge. (more…)

It ripped the palls of black smoke billowing from the old Alamo mission into ragged tendrils and hurled them away, as if trying to clear the air of the sickly sweet smell of burning flesh and the acrid stench of gunpowder. By the time the sun broke above the horizon and cast a golden light over the old mission-turned-fortress, gunshots still sporadically rent the air, but the main sound was that of an enraged mob. New York Times […] MEXICO CITY — The world’s most-wanted drug kingpin, Joaquín Guzmán Loera, known as El Chapo, has been captured, a senior American law enforcement official said Saturday, ending a 13-year manhunt for the chief supplier of illegal drugs to the United States and much of the world.

DETROIT (WWJ) – He’s been dubbed the “Blow Torch Rapist” and Detroit police say he’s struck again.

The latest attack occurred just before 7 a.m. Wednesday in a largely abandoned neighborhood near Plymouth and Meyers roads the city’s west side.

A 43-year-old woman told police she was leaving a gas station when a man came behind her and put a gun to her head. The woman said her attacker forced her into a car, ripped off her clothes and began burning her face with a blow torch.

Police say the victim stabbed the man in the eye with a screwdriver and was able to get away and call for help. She’s currently hospitalized in stable condition. (more…)

Yesterday we shared the story of the CoC announcing their intention to spend $50 million in order to protect and maintain establishment Republicans.     Yesterday the SCF (Senate Conservatives Fund) also sent out a distribution letter notifying supporters of the same issue.
However, the SCF misses the point when they note:

“The Chamber is pro-bailout, pro-stimulus, and pro-debt so it’s no surprise they want to elect more liberal Republicans.”

All of which is true but that’s not the primary impetus behind the current $50+ million for the 2014 election cycle.
The reason the Chamber of Commerce is willing to spend so much money to protect the Mitch McConnells of the world was openly discussed a few weeks ago when the Chamber President appeared on Neil Cavuto.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is heavily invested in two legislative constructs.   First, immigration reform.  Second, maintaining Obamacare.
John Boehner has promised to deliver immigration reform next year.  Nancy Pelosi openly admitted as such and it is widely expected to be the platform for President Obama’s entire State of The Union speech.
Bottom line – Establishment Republicans are going to deliver Amnesty legislation on behalf of the CoC request. (more…)

Amnesty Legislation – Mitch McConnell supports it,  The U.S. Chamber of Commerce supports it, The Republican Party Supports it, every single Democrat supports it, and you are going to get it whether you want it or not.
WASHINGTON DC – House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said she spoke with Speaker John Boehner on Tuesday and asked when an overhaul to immigration laws could be considered in the House.
“He told me yes, we have to wait until next year,” Pelosi told reporters on Wednesday morning.
Democrats have been pushing House Republicans to hold a vote on a landmark immigration reform bill that was passed in June, or try to work on their own immigration legislation. But Republicans have been apprehensive, with the most conservative members opposed to anything that could provide a pathway to citizenship or legalization for undocumented immigrants.  (continue reading)
