According to several media reports (Fox News and Reuters) President Trump is starting tomorrow with executive action targeted toward the larger immigration policy initiatives discussed throughout the presidential campaign.  Don McGahn is obviously a very busy man:

(Via Fox News)  WASHINGTON –  President Donald Trump will begin rolling out executive actions on immigration Wednesday, beginning with steps to tighten border security — including his proposed wall along the U.S.-Mexico border — and other domestic immigration enforcement measures, according to two administration officials.
Later in the week, the president is expected to take steps to restrict the flow of refugees to the United States. One official said the president was expected to roll out immigration measures over the next few days.

Begin, with the end in mind…

President Trump and Vice-President Pence met with Senate Leader Mitch McConnell (R), Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D), and Chairs of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Chuck Grassley (R) and Dianne Feinstein (D) today.  These are key members of the Senate who will be at the forefront of any Supreme Court nomination.

The small group meeting appears to be reconnaissance and temperature gauging for the upcoming Trump Supreme Court nomination which will be challenging.
In addition to the myriad of long-term impacts, Trump’s SCOTUS nominee will be a key element to the broader immigration issue.  Referencing back to the DACA topic, it is predictable the removal of DACA will eventually end up with immigration advocates selecting a deportee for use in their deportation court challenge.

There are multiple voices raising concern about President Trump not taking immediate Executive Action to reverse former President Obama’s DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program.  To those voices this message is intended.

Now is not the time to address DACA.  The UniParty and the UniParty friendly media are trying to bait President Trump into jumping into a politically charged issue they will use to slow, if not destroy, the larger agenda.
There are two Obama executive action constructs, DACA and DAPA.

♦ Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), also known as “The Dreamers” executive order which has been implemented and carried out deferring immigration enforcement for the children of illegal aliens.

♦ Deferred Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA), was the executive action found unconstitutional by Judge Hanen (Texas), blocked by injunction, and subsequently the injunction was argued through the appellate court all the way to SCOTUS – and upheld.

The Department of Homeland Security reluctantly halted DAPA implementation after they were defeated in the court system.   However, DACA, the deferred action for “dreamers” has been ongoing.  It is the DACA program that contains the largest political issue.

Anyone who believes Democrats own exclusive opposition to Donald Trump are completely ignoring the deliberate construct of the 2015/2016 republican primary.  There are just as many -if not more- natural enemies within the Republican apparatus as there are within the Democrat group.  “America-First” is antithetical to the UniParty.
Again, prior to Donald Trump there was one party in Washington DC, “The UniParty”.  President Donald Trump represented a second party, an independent approach toward legislative and economic priority.  He was not a third choice, he was the second option.

Within the ‘right-side’ of the UniParty you have Republicans.  Within the republican party there are two groups; both intentionally established to present the fallacy of false choice.
“Small government CONservatives”, just like their “big government” GOPe colleagues, begin remarkable advocacy for the consolidation of self-serving power when they are threatened by sunlight.  It is critical for the U.S. electorate to understand this dynamic.

Walking in a Winner Wonderland….

(Via Bloomberg)  Hyundai Motor Co. and affiliate Kia Motors Corp. said they will spend $3.1 billion in the U.S. in the next five years, joining other vehicle manufacturers in announcing investment plans amid threats from President-elect Donald Trump of higher levies on auto imports from Mexico.
The planned U.S. investment by South Korea’s two largest automakers is about 50 percent more than the $2.1 billion they spent in the previous five-year period, Hyundai Motor President Chung Jin-haeng told reporters in Seoul on Tuesday. The group is considering building a new factory in the U.S. and may produce Hyundai Motor’s upscale Genesis vehicles and a U.S.-specific SUV in the country, said the executive, who also oversees the strategic planning for Kia. WASHINGTON DC – A staffer for Republican Senator Mike Lee told trade experts at a lunch in Washington this week that he is looking into ways to curtail the president’s wide-ranging powers to impose tariffs, according to one of Lee’s aides.
The aide said a bill could be introduced as early as next week, and it may require Trump to go through Congress to use tariffs.

It’s stunning when you think abut how political officials have so routinely lied, that people actually thought Donald Trump’s Southern Border Security Wall was a metaphor for something ‘less than’ an actual wall.
Candidate Trump did not state a metaphor on June 16th 2015, he stated an actual “big beautiful wall“.  Now, with his administration only a few days away from moving into the White House, various pundits, media and newsers’ are realizing: “oh snap, he really meant that”.

Well,….. DUH!

Not only does President Trump intend to build a wall across the U.S./Mexico southern border, he also plans to start on it right away.   90′ tall poured concrete and rebar reinforced panels, footed and set with solid steel supports.

In 2015 we predicted if Donald Trump won the 2016 election, the Southern Border and Security Wall would not only happen as a construct of following through on a promise, but also factually happen as a function of avoiding the crisis of a neighboring economy in complete collapse.

What underpins that prediction is the hidden scale, and almost unquantifiable scope, of the exfiltration of U.S. dollars -legal and illegal- into Mexico.
American taxpayers as voters have no idea of the scale for how much money flows out of the U.S. into Mexico.  The reason no-one knows about it, and the reason economists cannot discuss it, is because the answer reveals a politically inconvenient discussion.
If accurate quantification was ever given sunlight, Americans, or more accurately ‘tax-paying Americans‘ would be able to see how much the United States actually subsidizes the nation of Mexico, and how much we’ve been ripped off.

There have been a series of very specific events wildly under-reported in the media which back-stop this decision.  Ford is not only making a bet on the American economy; more importantly for understanding – and accepting those unreported details, Ford is specifically betting against the Mexican economy.
The ramifications for this decision are remarkable.  Not only does the U.S. economy win; not only do U.S. auto-workers win; not only does Donald Trump’s economic outlook win; but also, the substantive construct of the North American Union, “NA Globalism”, which holds down the upper parameters of growth for the U.S. GDP, is removed.
This announcement is stunning in its implications and scope.  Continued evidence of a resurgence in American-centric, or as we now call “America-First”, economic patriotism.   It cannot be over emphasized how this decision speaks infinitely louder than the 1.6 billion dollars underneath it.

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — A Mexican man accused of raping a 13-year-old girl on a Greyhound bus that traveled through Kansas had been deported 10 times and voluntarily removed from the U.S. another nine times since 2003, records obtained by The Associated Press show.
[…]  Court filings show Martinez-Maldonado has two misdemeanor convictions for entering without legal permission in cases prosecuted in 2013 and 2015 in U.S. District Court of Arizona, where he was sentenced to serve 60 days and 165 days respectively.
A status hearing in the rape case is scheduled for Jan. 10. Defense attorney Lisa Hamer declined to comment on the charge, but said, “criminal law and immigration definitely intersect and nowadays it should be the responsibility of every criminal defense attorney to know the possible ramifications in the immigration courts.” (more…)
