Given the increased scrutiny now evident in the Presidential Race it is interesting to note the Republican Party in Indiana has selected their contingent of delegates in advance of the primary election to be held May 3rd, 2016.
Indiana has 57 Delegates Available to the winner on a State and Congressional District level. 30 (10 base at-large delegates plus 17 bonus delegates plus 3 RNC delegates) statewide delegates are to be allocated to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes statewide.

The footage is from KXJB (CBS) – Fargo, North Dakota; and unfortunately this journalist, doing, well, actual journalistic stuff, will probably have the shortest career in broadcasting.

Please allow me to be perfectly clear. I hold a ‘traditional conservative’ outlook. Fiscally conservative. I don’t care if what you do in your bedroom, nor does it bother me if you choose to marry a squirrel, wear a snickers bar costume to the grocery store, or make it your life’s mission to spend all day filling canoes with pancakes. So long as your personal life choices in the pursuit of your happiness do not impact, impede, diminish or interfere with independent choices of others – have at it.

However, when it comes to federal spending, it becomes another matter entirely. A tidal wave of debt is close to collapsing our nation.
That’s why this latest proclamation by Lyin’ Speaker Ryan is infuriating. Heck, honestly, it’s well beyond infuriating.
President Obama has never had a federal budget. The last federal budget was signed into law in September of 2007 for fiscal year ’08. That was the last budget passed and signed into law. Nine consecutive fiscal years without a budget.
On December 11th 2015 the House passed a $2+ trillion Omnibus spending bill, and eliminated the debt ceiling. They didn’t raise the debt ceiling, they eliminated it. The Omnibus was structured to carry federal spending all the way to March 2017. (more…)
Everyone outside the lame media machine already knew this ridiculous accusation was never going to be prosecuted. Apparently today the Jupiter prosecutor affirmed the predictable. An official statement due tomorrow…

(Via Politico) A Florida prosecutor has decided not to prosecute Donald Trump’s campaign manager for battery after a March run-in with former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields, sources with knowledge of the situation told POLITICO.
The decision not to press charges against Corey Lewandowski is scheduled to be announced on Thursday afternoon by Palm Beach County State Attorney David Aronberg.

Candidate Donald Trump appeared together with his family for a CNN Town Hall event on Tuesday 4/12/16. Here’s the full video of the interview and audience questions:

One of the interesting aspects to this interview is Ann Coulter discussing the scope of the random support she encounters for Donald Trump from ordinary people. This is a vastly underreported aspect for an intentional reason.
The financially dependent entities (political and media) don’t want the media discussion to contain any indications of the size and scope of Trump’s broad-base coalition. Their unified interests are better protected if the consuming audience are kept oblivious to the vast support Donald Trump holds.
Increasingly, we are fine-tuning our antenna to this critical and overlooked point. Much like Florida, in the run-up to the March 15th primary, there’s an intentional decision by the media to dilute/cloud the appearance of Trump’s support. However, you might remember -despite their efforts- Trump won Florida by over 20 points; and won every county in the state except Miami-Dade.
There are more of us than them!
Somewhat quietly, though not without some water-cooler discussion, the Republican Party Leadership is warning membership to stay away from the upcoming Cleveland Ohio convention.
The media is describing the issue as centering around those elected politicians who may want to avoid the potential for divisive controversy. However, if you look at the actual landscape, and then look at the political ideology of those who are openly saying they are staying away, what you’ll notice is the RINO caucus, the ‘Decepticons’, are the most cautious.

If you spend some time digging through the professional GOPe messaging, what you’ll note is the party leadership seems fully aware something very dangerous might just come to fruition. Not dangerous in a violent way per se’, but rather dangerous in a very political and contentious way; there’s very good reason for this. (more…)

(Via Washington Examiner) Following a drop in students applying for housing, the University of Missouri will not be placing students in two dorms for the fall 2016 semester.
Mizzou will be closing the Respect and Excellence halls (ironic names, given the circumstances) in order to utilize dorm space “in the most efficient manner” to keep costs down.
In March, the university announced that it saw a sharp drop in admissions for the coming school year, and will have 1,500 fewer students. This will lead to a $32 million budget shortfall for the school, prompting the need to close the dorms in order to save money.
